At the Jefferson Estate.

As the party concluded, guests departed one by one, leaving only Oswald behind.

The Jefferson family and Oswald sat in the grand hall.

Arlo took a sip from his teacup and turned to Oswald with a smile. "Oz, what do you think of that young man, Timothy?"

Oswald narrowed his eyes and said with a knowing look, "From my years of experience, I could tell that this man is not ordinary."

Overhearing this, Mavis looked confused and asked, "Mr. Langham Senior, you said Timothy wasn't an ordinary man. What did you mean by that?"

Oswald smiled at Mavis and said, "Mavis, my judgment is rarely wrong. Remember my advice—you must keep Timothy close. Also, be wary of Cassian."

Mavis blushed slightly, biting her lip. Then, she quickly changed the subject. "What's wrong with Cassian?"

Oswald shook his head. "From the moment I saw him, I had an uneasy feeling. He's deeply calculating. Also, that painting he gave Arlo is a fake."
