Continuing Rei's POV: I woke up in someone's arms, my wrists freed from the cuffs but sore from having been in them. I felt around quickly for my kimono and started to squirm in panic. "Shh, I didn't do anything to you yet," Kai told me as he noticed I had woken up. "You still have your boxers on." "Where's my kimono?" I asked quickly. "Being cleaned. It had blood all over it," he replied calmly. "Why didn't you give me more clothes?" I asked. "Because I didn't want to," he hummed out. "You're going to get used to being exposed to me for awhile." I looked up to him before I leaned in towards his body to hear for Silas. He's not dead yet is he? What if I didn't wake up in enough time? I could hear him barely, his crystal still weakly fighting on to survive Kai who's crystal was working to destroy him and absorb him. I looked up for the handcuffs then, to see if they were still lingering against the headboard. I glanced away when I found them gone then sa
Milo's POV: I felt light kisses running from my neck towards my lips. Lyle was giving me kisses. "Milo," I heard him purr against my lips. "Happy death day." I could already feel the darkness around me, no caution of the sun anywhere near the castle. "I have tonight planned out for us." I purred softly and opened my eyes slowly, looking towards him. It's my death day? "I didn't realize it was my death day," I whispered to him and gave him a sweet smile as I looked up at Lyle. I wrapped my arms around his neck then kissed him lovingly. He's so sweet to me~ "Well a fledgling's master has to keep up with his little fledgling's age. So of course I know. I bet the nights just melt together for you though," he said sweetly to me. I laughed and looked up at him. "Well, I remember what day you asked me out... I remember your birthday- or at least the one you told me," I teased lightly and then kissed his neck. "What do you want to do today then?" "We're going t
Continuation of Milo's POV: Lyle pulled me towards the apartment building and inside, straight up to a door. He knocked on it calmly before the very human he had fed on the night I met him- opened the door. "Come in," he purred and stepped aside. "Hurry, I don't need my neighbors staring me down with their rumors." I widened my eyes slightly and went in, not wanting to cause him trouble. I smiled sheepishly towards him and then squeezed Lyle's hand. "H-hi," I whispered towards the human, looking at him. Wow... it's really him huh? I ruined their feeding session with my coffee spilling.... "So you're the special human that night that made Lyle forget about me?" The human asked and chuckled. "You know why you're here, right?" He asked me and shut the door behind us. He motioned towards his living room, arranged for comfortable feeding sessions. I blushed. "He told me when we were leaving," I admitted, looking at him as I let Lyle's hand go slowly, starting to
Continuation of Milo's POV: "I'm so sorry about tonight," Lyle whispered. "It's my duty though.... I couldn't just ignore this." I smiled and looked at him. "It's fine. He'll be rescued and put somewhere better. If my fifth death day had to be stuck in a council room, at least it's for this," I purred to him and gave him a sweet look. "You owe me a fun day soon though." "Of course I do. We'll go out on a romantic night, promise." He kissed my cheek before looking at the corpse. "We'll feed that to the pack," he muttered. "We can't let the servants see this." I nodded and looked towards the corpse then up at Lyle. "Okay," I mumbled and then kissed his lips softly. "Thank you for saving me," I purred sweetly at him, tugging lightly on his flannel as I moved closer to him. He gave me a purr, leaning in towards my ear. "Want to be a maker?" He asked. "A maker?" I asked softly then blushed. "Yeah," he looked me in the eyes. "For him?" I asked
Continuing Milo's POV: "Jack? Would you like to be called by that?" I smiled and then glanced over at Lyle curiously to see if he was okay before I returned my attention to the boy in front of me. Lyle was still fuming, looking away. He looked at the servants. "Leave us," he told them. They all left as ordered and left Lyle his phone. "I- I guess I wouldn't mind being called Jack," the boy told me. I bit my bottom lip as I watched Lyle and then looked towards the boy. "Okay Jack," I whispered and then gave him a small smile. "We'll call you Jack unless you find another name you want to be called by, but Jack is just fine," I purred, rubbing his cheek. At least he seems to have gotten better... and he doesn't seem quite as starved- not at the point of attacking. He looked towards my wrist curiously before exposing his fangs. "Jack, you've had enough." Lyle warned. "I don't need you puking in front of the council." I took my hand back from him and smiled
Laurence's POV: I woke up from breaking out into a sweat, my hair was sticking to my face and the blankets were wrapped around me tight, constricting me almost like a snake. I threw them off quickly, rolling in the process before going straight into the floor and hitting my head against the nightstand. I fell back into the darkness, going unconscious. "Laurence," I heard a sweet voice purring to me... Wait I know this voice. It's so familiar. It's Calix. I opened my eyes and looked around, finding myself back in the four cornered padded room. The straight jacket was back around me and I was curled up on the bed. A cold sweat formed on my forehead. I caught the image of a wicked grin spread out across the face of a familiar doctor at the asylum before the door creaked open in my padded cell. "Now's your chance," I heard Calix purr right in my ear. I heard a scream down the hall and then the scent of blood hit me. I felt a strange liquid starting to soak into my straigh
Continuing Laurence's POV: I widened my eyes as I caught a thirteen-ish girl running from the room. She had dark brown hair that ran down to her mid back. She was in a white dress but didn't have shoes on. Her skin was sort of a light green color. I could hear her giggle more as she ran from us. I could hear the sound of metal clinging together from a charm bracelet. Toru ran out of the room and went after her, yipping at her harshly as he raced after her with his ears laid back. I heard another door open before she disappeared inside. He barreled into the door and yelped as he couldn't stop quite fast enough. He whimpered and shook his head as I could feel his pain in his head from the impact. I frowned and held onto my head as I walked up and opened the door for him, peaking inside. I found her on the edge of the window, about to leave. Toru raced in and tackled her, yanking her back in by her dress and then growled as he crawled onto her chest and nipped at her nose to
Continuing Laurence's POV: "Hey...." I grew a smile on my face. "Someone's got a new fledgling here-" I stopped talking as I was suddenly tackled to the ground and bit into, a hungry growl came from it. I yelped and widened my eyes. "Alright, I know I still have a human scent on me but still," I hissed. "Haven't you been taught your manors yet?" I asked and purred. "You can have a few swallows though," I told him and started to run my fingers through his soft ash brown hair. I could smell lightly in his scent he was about two years old. I couldn't catch a maker's scent on him. Well he can't just be here because he broke in. Someone brought him here. I'll have to ask around. I felt him lick my neck as he let out a moan. I shivered slightly as I had a flashback of my dream when Calix was eating me. He bit down hard into me, tightening his arms around me. "Jack!" I heard Milo call out, turning the corner rather quickly as he caught the scent of blood. "You better not be-
