CH63 Lost Ship

Continuing Rei's POV:

I threw the double doors open and headed through the hall, awing at the hall. He looked around and smiled, looking around us as he gave my hand a squeeze then let go, laughing. He ran up to a door and opened it, revealing a captain's office. He went in and started to explore in there, purring. I followed after him, looking at the old desk and ran my fingers across it before picking up some of the papers and looked them over. It looked like the ship had been on a cruise with some luxury passengers, but a disease struck and then they became lost at sea... the ones who survived the disease died of dehydration and starvation. Silas looked over the books on the shelves in interest then sat down in the captain's seat. "Ahoy mateys," he said playfully towards me and winked.

"The poor souls here died," I muttered and handed him the papers, sure I'd find their bodies down below somewhere, tucked away in their beds decaying. He frowned a little and looked
