If I could stay and live as Kai, I wouldn’t have to deal with the insufferable siblings my parents insisted on as often. My father all but loved to hate his own siblings, and yet I found myself with eight. Two of which were at each other’s throats as I approached home. As much as I truly did value my siblings, these two would surely be the death of me if any of them were. Their constant fighting started young and hasn’t stopped.

MARIEWe arrived at Eclipse without issues, and I’d be sure to tell Mato how much of a drama queen he was about everything when we were back. Mylo’s gaze was focused on me in a way I came to realize was him analyzing me. I hated it when he looked at me like this. Trying to figure out things that I didn't want him to know, that I was masking.
