ERIC
"What!"
That was the only thing I said before my phone fell off my ear. I was shivering and at the same time sweating. I don't know what to do, whom to call or what to say.
"Sir are you okay?" Pamela voice brought me out of my thoughts
Have totally forgotten I had a company in the office.
"You can go now," I said as calmly as I can
I watched how she left my office without uttering another word.
I paced up and down the office without knowing what to do. I couldn't call her parents now. I picked my phone from the floor to call my dad.
Luckily for it, it didn't have any scratch but that was the least of my concern. I dialled his number and he picked almost immediately.
"Dad," I said
"Son, what is the matter, why is your voice down?" He asked wit
ANABELLEIt's almost two weeks that I had Tara kidnapped. Though I haven't been to where she was because of the cops but I had cleared my name, thanks to my influential dad.I decided to go pay her a visit at my dad's warehouse. I got there some hours later. I parked my car some distance away to avoid easy recognition, then I trekked to the warehouse.I met one of Sharp Shooter guys, who was securing the entrance. He hailed me and I gave him some money."Where is your boss?" I asked"He is inside with the prey," He replied"Okay." I said smilingI went inside and met Tara with Sharp Shooter. She looked so unkempt and pale."Mama," He hailed me"Uhm... Thanks for the job well done," I said smiling"You welcome," He said&nb
ERICI prayed silently to God to save Omotara throughout the ride to the hospital. We arrived at the hospital premises and the nurses in the ambulance wheeled Tara inside the hospital while I followed suit."Mr Olaosebikan, you aren't allowed to move further than this." One of the nurse said stopping meI stayed back at the reception while I watched my Eve being wheeled to the operating theater. I signed all the required documents.I called her parents and informed them about the outcome of things and told them the address of the hospital. I called my dad also and her friends.Hours later, the doctor came out of the operating theatre and I walked closer to him."Doctor, how is Omotara?" I asked"She is out of danger now but she slipped into coma after the operation. The bullet hit her stomach but thankf
TARAThe expected day have finally arrived. My wedding day, the day I will finally become Mrs Olaosebikan. It felt like yesterday when the date was picked after we had our introduction.I was so exhausted. I didn't get enough time to rest because my bridal shower was done till late in the night. And my beautiful sleep was disturbed by the yelling of my MUA(Makeup Artist)."Who sleep on her wedding day duh..." My inner mind chided meI had to get ready on time though, if I don't want to be late for the wedding since the church service is scheduled for 9am.All through the makeup session, I was nervous and at the same time happy. The girls were there to make me laugh with their numerous gists.Speaking of the girls, Cassandra was my chief bridesmaid, while Rose, Pamela, Catherine and my cousins from the maternal side(Arabella and Isabella) were my b
A/N: This chapter will be only in Tara's POV. And most of the songs are Nigerian music so apologies to my non Nigerian readers. We arrived at Caritas event centre some minutes later. The event hall was decorated with wine colour and some mixture of champagne gold and white. The venue screamed money and that have always been my dream since I was young. To find my Prince Charming, get married in an expensive way and live happily ever after.I smiled at the childish thought as I alighted from the vehicle that conveyed my husband and I."This is the time we have all been waiting for," The MC voice blast from the sound systemThe bridal trains were all inside the hall, excluding Eric and I, waiting for the grand entrance. I was so nervous and I couldn't help looking at Eric. He gave me a light kiss and a reassuring smile.
TARA'S POVBeing a sophomore student can be very stressful. Tons of assignments, no lecture free day and coupled with the fact that the weekends are also occupied. There are sometimes I really wished I could drop out. That is the extent to which I was frustrated. But kidding anyways, no one pray to drop out from a medical school. To all the medical students out there, don't worry the Lord is our strength."Tara, can you explain what phospholipid is to the class?" My BCH lecturer, Mrs Jayesimi askedAs I slowly stood up, I heard her voice again, "we are waiting for you miss.""Ma, phospholipid is...is...is...," I couldn't believe I was stuttering in the presence of this woman"Can anyone help her?" She asked&nbs
A/N: Introducing Eric's POV in this chapter. Happy Reading.ERIC'S POVI couldn't help but think of the lady I helped during the BCH class two months ago. The girl is a beauty to behold. Her skin glowed without any blemish. Not to talk about her two straight legs, or is it her long black hair. Gosh, the girl was so beautiful.Am not the type that answer questions in class but I couldn't help it that day and that was the reason why I stood up to answer the question.I smiled to myself as I thought about the lady. I made up my mind to find out about the beautiful goddess that had occupied my mind lately.
ERIC'S POVTest and exams requires an all round seriousness from students, so Crown Top University students were not left out.I had BCH 201 this morning and I was paired with a lady but she looked so much like the lady I helped in that class.I decided to talk to her after the test but little did I know that she would beat me to it."Hy, " She greeted"Hello," I replied smiling"Am Tara Banks," She said nervously"Am Eric Olaosebikan," I replied with a wink
ERIC'S POVEver since Tara and I met at that test hall, we had been good friends. She was so fun to be with. I really did enjoyed her company.Apart from being a great listener, she was so caring, humble, loving and kind. Her thoughts always find a way to creep into my mind. She was the only one occupying my brain to the extent that I couldn't see or think about any lady. You see am not the loyal type.I have played alot of ladies in Crown Top to the extent that I had lost counts. But ever since I met Tara, I couldn't think about any lady.I have never felt this way before to any lady because the feelings I felt whenever am with Tara was so refreshing, cool that I didn't know how to describe it.And all this prompt me to ask her out since it was already seven months we met. I had made all the
