Buzzing all I heard was buzzing causing me to groan and pull the blankets up over my face with a growl and I heard a small husky laugh from next to me as the bed shifted “it’s Jake” Ru stated and I rolled onto my stomach slightly poking my head out of the blanket. He laughed a little looking down at me with a smile on his face and I pouted up at him as he handed me my phone which I reluctantly grabbed from his hand knowing that Jake would only call if it’s important. “You’re uncle and William Pierce are playing a really dangerous game” was the first thing he said when I picked up the phone and my body stiffened, my face falling and Ru shifted almost nervously, defensive and my eyes locked with his, He held worry while mine held nothing “what exactly happened” I asked and Jake sighed. “They tried to hack our shit” he stated “the security system I got them out and was able to replace their hack with one of my own” he said his voice sounding a bit more proud. “When did this happen?”
I couldn’t get the situation out of my head, my uncle the look in his eyes as Oliver spoke so I pulled over breathing a bit heavier before I just screamed. It ripped out of my throat without hesitation, my hands slamming onto the steering wheel as I let out the emotions that were bottling up inside a few tears slipping down my cheeks as I did so. I felt like I was trapped in a never ending cycle, the man that hurt me saying it was wrong what the fuck is that, theres no way he was honest right but why would he get so aggressive towards Oliver. I felt like my mind was ripping me apart. All of my motivation for everything came down to tracking him down and ripping him apart the way he did to me. For making me trust him and then destroying every little piece of me, saying it was love but being ready to kill me at any moment, that can’t be true love. I whipped a tear from under my cheek and looked around at the woods in front of me. I needed to let out some steam, almost desperately
Driving home, I was coaxed in blood, but my care was basically gone as I made it closer and closer to the door, I felt fully comfortable with myself. Thinking past my uncle instead of focusing on the look in his eye and the words that passed his lips as he spoke to the others but it still lingered in my mind as I drove back to the school. My body was fully relaxed as I pulled into my parking space barely focusing on covering up the dried blood across my skin, clothes, and hair as I grabbed the duffle bag bringing the knives in with me. For such a rich school they didn’t have cameras positioned all over the place to see who is doing what, honestly it was stupid but they don’t really care about anything but the money they’re gaining anyway. I walked through the halls which were empty and deadly silent, due to the fact that it was later in the day on a Saturday everyone was out and my phone pings causing me to stop and grab it out of my pocket. “Hey, I’m out, what do you want me to
“Well I take it you two are all buddy buddy again” Naomi said pointing over to Jace who had just left my side following after Ru and Liam, talking about god knows what. “Yeah we finally started talking again” I nodded looking after him and Naomi looked over at me while raising an eyebrow almost like she was expecting to get more information out of me and my eyebrows furrow “what’s with the look” I ask and she shrugs almost pretending to be innocent. “Oh nothing, I was just thinking,” she said, rocking a bit back and forth while looking around the hallway “what’s it like having four men in love with you” she asked and I scoffed. “That is so not what’s happening” I stated my arms moving up to cross over my chest as I stared at her. “Oh but it so is, why must you deny the truth Amara” she said looking over at me and I rolled my eyes while shaking my head. “I’m not denying the truth, I’m denying an absurd question” I stated and she clicked her tongue. “So you’re gonna tell me none o
By the time class was over I was stuck in the living room with four boys staring me down angrily and I just kinda rocked back and forth on my heels as they glared at me and I bit down on my bottom lip. “Sooo I’m gonna go do homework” I said, plastering a smile on my face and going to walk past them but Jace grabbed my arm and I let out a small sigh letting my head fall down. “What the fuck are you thinking” he growled out and I threw my head back with a pained face expression, not fully having a good reason when it came to the situation that was an overall view. “I don’t know” I whispered, shaking my head a little bit and Link stomps up in front of me. “You don’t know” he stated his voice almost coming out like a growl “you and fucking blondie all alone in a room for almost an hour” he said loudly pointing towards the door before rolling his eyes and scoffing. “Link nothing is going to happen” I said and he shook his head. “With her or me” he asked and my eyes widened “Amara I l
I was standing in the middle of the hallway, basically half asleep leaned against the lockers, the cool medal feeling nice on my headache. “Boy’s keep you up last night” Naomi asked, her tone coming out teasingly and I let out a small scoff, smiling a little. “Not really no, just not feeling too good is all” I said my eyes closing as I spoke and I focused on the metal's coolness against my skin. “Are you sure?” she asked and I felt her hand press against my forehead. “It’s just a headache” I muttered and she sighs. “Did you take anything to help, I have something” she said pulling her hand back and there was a small shuffling of a bag and I nod. “Thanks” I mutter, pushing myself off of the lockers a little bit and taking the Tylenol from her hand before swallowing it dry. “Yeah that’s definitely a way to do that” she said, nodding a bit to herself and the bell rang causing me to groan, my face scrunching up at the loud sound, my head feeling like it's pounding. “No” Naomi whin
We were piling up in the car, a few bags in the trunk and I waved at the girls saying goodbye again as the car drove away and I leaned back in my seat letting out a small sigh, seeing my mother was honestly the last thing I wanted to do. I don’t think I have the mental capacity to deal with her, but I knew I’d have to do so anyway and there was no backing out of the situation as is. “You okay” Jace whispered in my ear and I looked over at him letting out a small sigh and nodding, there was no point in complaining about a situation you were already stuck dealing with. His hand grabs mine and I lean my head over resting it on his shoulder before I close my eyes taking in the trip quickly once I fall asleep. “Come on, up we get” Julian said, his hands on both of my knees and I looked at him confused at his choice of words causing him to chuckle. I sit up and Jace shifts, clearly being woken up by my movements “can we do a movie night like last time” I ask, the idea suddenly popping
“What did you do to her?” I ask William as he stands on the other end of his desk staring at me silently and I cross my arms over my chest. “What was that?” I asked a bit louder this time and he shrugged. “I don’t know” he whispered and I made a sorrowful look as I stared at him. “My mother just had a mental breakdown” I said pointing towards the ground, my tongue crossing over my teeth “and all I get is an I don’t know” I exclaimed a little loudly with tears in my eyes. I’m an awesome fucking actress, I wanted to pat myself on the back as I saw the pain in his eyes as he stared at my heart broken stated. “Is she going to be okay?” I ask and he slowly nods his head yes and I let out a small sigh before looking off and swallowing. “My mother hasn’t acted so detached since my father passed away” I whispered and he stepped around his desk stepping closer to me and I sucked in a breath slowly blowing out some air, trying to keep myself from crying. “She was gonna kill me wasn’t she
