Madison's POV

I booked an Uber and it took me to the restaurant. I saw her sitting at the far end with Brenda; I already knew they were up to no good.

I approached the table, feeling a knot of anxiety in my stomach. “Hi, Maddy!” Brenda said, giving me a fake smile.

“Hi, Brenda,” I said, not returning the smile. I turned to Tyler’s ,mother.

“Hello, Ma,” I said, forcing a smile.

“Hi, Madison, have a seat” she said, then went straight to the point.

“I will pay you 5 million dollars to abort that child." I felt a wave of pain when I heard those words from Tyler’s mother.
