If you got to keep her, I get to keep him

I was waiting for Isabelle in the parking lot. Finally this dreaded day came to an end. And thankfully I don't have much homework today so I can just go home and watch N*****x cuddling up in my comforter. I had this afternoon properly planned.

"Sorry I got stuck with the teacher.." Isabelle apologized and I shrugged.

"I just waited to say goodbye, I will see you tomorrow Belle." Before I could leave she caught my hand.

"Wait Missy you have a lot of explanation to do.." I look at her questioningly and she grinned..

Isabelle - Since when you and the new boy get so buddy buddy?

Steph - He is in almost in all of my classes Belle and we are seat mates in Mathematics. So we just talk a bit.

Belle - A bit??? Are you serious? He eat with us at lunch and he called you sugar. He had a nickname for you Steph..

I rolled my eyes at her excitement, what is so great about it.

Steph - A nickname I totally hate. But he don't seem to get it.

Belle - Well now coming back to your jerk boyfriend, what happened with him? Did he do something? I swear to Jesus Steph, I will chop him in pieces.. And feed his body to dogs.

I cut her off. She is so small and completely harmless but will never hesitate to castrate a person for me. I look at her amused..

Steph - Calm down Belle..

And then I told her everything that happened at the party. Including the part where Javier walks me home..

"That son of a bitch, I told you he was no good for you but you never listen." She gave some more profanities to Jacob and I just rolled my eyes.

"It was just one time Belle, it's not like everytime he forget me at a party. And honestly I left without informing him. It was stupid on my part. I should have already called a cab. But no stupid me preferred walking alone at such hour.." I confessed sadly. Of course I was hurt because of Jacob, but it wasnt his fault that I fall in the situation like that.. I was going to say something more when I saw Isabelle shooting daggers at someone behind me.

I turned around to see Jacob standing there. "Can I talk to you babe, please.." Belle glowered beside me and I look at her with pleading eyes, I don't want to create a scene here.. she look at him and me and then left from their without another word.

Jacob - Why were you sitting with that jerk new boy at lunch?

I almost stopped myself from rolling my eyes, the first question he asked is this. Seriously.

Steph - Because he is my friend

Jacob - Seriously Steph, it was his 3rd day at school and you are already friend with him. Not to forget that he is a douchebag. It's Monday you were suppose to sit with me.

I was boiling with anger now, he is suppose to apologize but here he is accusing me with sitting with my friends. "Those are my friends Jacob and I have decided I am going to sit with them daily. I don't like being at your table, nobody else does. So it's better we both sit with our friends.."

Jacob - What is wrong with you babe? You left me alone at the party, then you didn't pick my call and now you are ditching me at lunch..

Steph - what's wrong with me or what's wrong with you Jacob? You didn't even care that I left the party. You were so busy with that Rosaline.

Jacob - Of course I care Steph, you are the one who doesn't picked my calls.

Steph - Really, you called next day. Jacob, if you were worried I would have received a call same day not the other day..

My eyes were full with tears, I was on the verge of crying, Jacob looked guilty. He engulfed me in a hug and starting apologizing. "I am so sorry babe, I am an idiot. Forgive me please.." I calmed down in few more minutes. Jacob have that effect on me. No matter how angry I am, but once in his arms I melt like a ice-cream. He kept me there for few more minutes.

"I am sorry Jac, I shouldn't be shouting at you like that. Let's forget everything ok.." he smiled and plant a small peck on my lips..

"You just stay away from that new kid, I haven't heard good things about him and the fact he hangs out with Caleb proves my suspicion. They both are no good.." I frowned at him, Javier and I were not exactly friend but I like his company and Caleb's too.. I am not going to stop talking to them just because he said so..

"Okay I would, but can you stop hanging out with Rosaline. Can you stop talking to her..?" I questioned and now it was his turn to frown..

"Why would you say that, you now Rosaline and I are best friend since from ever, I can't leave her.." and here we go again.. "exactly Jac, he is my friend and I can't leave him either. So if you got to keep her, I get to keep him.." I said with a dismissive voice and I know he wasn't going to challenge my decision and I was glad for that....
