“Why do you think I would do something for you again?” Zoya asked as she gulped a glass of water; Kabir chuckled as he sat on the placed near the bed.

“You are forgetting, I am the one who made you do many things,” He looked her straight in the eye.

“Things you never thought you would do,” Kabir said before he stood up.

“I regret the day I crossed paths with you,” Zoya said as she fixed her dress shoulder, it was slipping off. The bloody thin strap could not be in its place.

“Should have killed me in all those one hundred and sixty-nine attempts of murders in the last three years,” He said as he got close to her.

Zoya tried to put up the façade of being brave but she knew she was afraid, she was afraid, not for herself but for what of hers he had his hands on. Which he could harm in seconds maybe even destroy for life.

She can’t trust him

He caged her between him and the wall as they moved back step after step until they reached the end—the wall
