Strange Eyes-III

Dominic stepped out from the carriage. His eyes found the large building which was the headquarters of the Orders. They had called him in to question of the incidents regarding the gargoyles that had appeared suddenly in their mansion.

He knew many ways to lie his way through but today he had some other thoughts. While the King and Queen was none of his business, he had promised his cousin that he would bring Essex down for him.

With a smile Dominic marched forward only to hear Starvos beside him who whispered, “Say your sly expression is showing. You should try and keep down that cocky smile of yours.”

Dominic raised his eyebrows and chuckled, “I don’t think I had such a bad expression on my face though?”

“Oh for sure you are. You know how ever since we entered this building, everyone is looking to our side?” Starvos said, and even as his eyes move aside, he found people still looking to their side, making it clear that the person attracting the most attention was Dominic.
