Hannah Maury went silent hearing her words. A small laughter slipped from her mouth that began to get louder and echo all over the room. She pushed her hair to the back of her head and looked back at Rose with her shoulders still shaking, “I can’t do that. Just because I want a successor doesn’t mean that I want to die now either. I want someone who can continue my legacy after I die, not me wanting to die.”

Rose sighed plainly as her green eyes rolled aside. The lights from her eyes had disappeared, giving her the coldest look on her face that Dominic had never seen until now.

“Well then that means you won’t have a successor,” Rose looked at Dominic, whispering, “Are you ready?”
