Silver Strands-I

Yellow lights filled the path. Tall buildings covered her left and right. The people all around her dressed moderately. They looked nothing different than any other cities one will find when they visit in Essex.

It had the same layout, except how most of them seemed to be more advanced whether it was by their style of clothing, the objects they held, or their aura.

Mona held her hand, calling for her attention, “Don’t get overwhelmed, remember? If you do get overwhelmed, you would forget where you are and lost yourself in this amount of people.”

Roses sighed and nodded. She quickly pulled herself together and walked beside Mona.

“Where are we going first? The woman whose name is Barlene, do you think you will know where she is?” Rose asked the question at once but mona didn’t mind.

She smiled, “Let’s see. Out of everyone that I know, in fact, Barlene is the only person who had sent me letters. She checked up on me each month, asking if I am alright and don’t worry about the situat
