Meeting Parents-II

With a huff, Rose finally relented.

She looked at her parents and said, “And I also have something to tell to you two later.”

Both Mr and Mrs Maury looked at each other wondering what it is but didn’t respond. Not long after, Rose watched as they went into the sitting room, filling her with nervousness.

Her parents had always been the kindest people. They have gentle hearts which mean they would never hurt people or even a fly. She recalled how despite them having a terrible aunt, there was never a time when her father or mother openly show how exhausted they are by the mental torture that her aunt had done to them, by subtly blaming them for the miscarriage.

But now that Rose had seen her own past, she noted that her aunt, Marie had never had a miscarriage. She was ill from the beginning but blamed it all on her mother.
