Brother’s Blood-II

Shawn narrowed his eyes, slowing stepping backward. Rose noticed that her words did an effect to him, causing him to move backward out of fear of her magic. She didn’t expect for him to be scared by her words and perhaps he wouldn’t be as much frightened as now if she hadn’t told him the truth about Dominic, he would still remain unfazed by her words.

Shawn gritted his teeth, raising his hand, “Move for the last time!”

“I said no,” Rose’s green eyes turned lighter in color as she responded to him in a fiercer tone. “I won’t repeat that twice.”

Shawn angrily turned the same hand he had raised into a fist, tightening his fingers enough for his fingernails to draw blood from his skin. He ignored the pain, muttering a small whisper of magic.
