Messed Up-III

Rose felt her mother’s embrace and tightly hugged her back. She who had been holding her tears finally felt the water slyly escaping from her green eyes.

She held her mother’s hands, making sure that she was alright as well. Mr Maury felt so relieved his legs almost gave away. Seeing Dominic, the man smiled and rested his hand on his shoulder, “Thank heaven you are save too. We, the elders, would never die at peace if any one of you leave this world before us.”

“Oh dear! Don’t jinx us!” Mrs. Maury snapped at once.

Dominic felt the hand on his shoulders to be warmth, something he didn’t expected. He didn’t expected to see anyone rejoicing of his safety other than Rose’s.

“How did you acquire the pike, mother?” Rose asked for her mother to frown.

“You know that big handsome knight? The one with silver eyes—”

“Starvos,” Rose said which her mother confirmed by nodding her head eagerly. “Where is he now?”
