chapter one hundred and sixty two

Olivia POV

"It's okay, Olivia," Louis tries to pull me away from Angel. She gives a faint smile and continues to stare at me with that witch-like gaze.

"Don't do this, baby," he says, almost whispering to me.

"Well, that's where you're wrong, Angel. I've wanted to since the moment I met you."

"Looks like we'll have a long history of hatred ahead," she says, taking a strand of my hair and twirling it around her fingers. "Too bad it'll be a story of love with your father."

With that said, she releases my hair and walks away. I turn to Louis.

"Did she hurt you?" I ask.

"It's okay, Olivia," he says, sounding somewhat disappointed, and leaves. Louis hates it when people fight, especially me. We're close, very close. He's my younger brother; it's my duty to protect him, but if it were up to him, I'd never have to raise my voice.

I remember Mom didn't like shouting either. He's so much like her. I turn around, and Sara was still staring at me.
