chapter ninety three

Tyler's POV

Back in Atlanta.

Somehow, I thank God that the trip is over. Driving while listening to Olivia complain that she needed to go to the bathroom and Emily complaining that we never arrived was kind of torture. The other part of me still wanted to be in New York; you know, I just wanted to be able to take a whole month off. But I have a newly graduated pediatrician at home who was eager to get back to taking care of sick kids.

I just want to say that my wife is running out of family time since she started working at that hospital. She could very well open her own practice, but Emily is too stubborn and decided she needs to learn from others.

"Dad?" I hear Olivia's voice behind me.

My little one, as always, interrupting my moment of rest.

"Dad? Are you listening to me?" She just entered the office and ran to stand in front of me.
