"You're not going to tell me why we're heading home early, are you?" I ask, observing Tyler drive attentively without paying the slightest attention to me.

"They'll need me for some things at the company, that's all," he says seriously.

"Tyler, I've been married to you for almost seven years; I know you very well," I pause, "Is it about the situation with Ethan, right?" I ask, trying to figure out why he's acting strange.

"It's business, Emily. I've told you," he responds curtly.

"Are you guys fighting?" Olivia's sweet voice catches our attention.

I look back and smile at her.

"No, my love, we're just clarifying things," I say thoughtfully.

"I have nothing to clarify, Emily. I hope you don't either," he says with an arrogant tone.
