CHAPTER THIRTY SIX

"So you are saying I lost?" I asked for about the tenth time.

It was evening and we were still outside talking about everything and nothing. Most of the students had gone back inside to their dormitories and a few were still loitering around.

"Yes Cassie. One minute thought you were going to be attacking and killing everyone within distance and the next you were on the floor. It was shocking really" said Bryan.

Emily immediately burst into laughter, something she had been doing everytime the topic came up. I bet she was having a good time I glared at her and she burst into another bout of laughter, she just wouldn't quit it.

"Maybe next season, you would actually win. It I'll be in another six months and who knows, I might actually join you guys" said Bryan, shrugging.

We spent the rest of the evening making fun of one another and watching the stars. I didn't care that I might be disappointing Hades by being a good friend and having a nice time.
