Meeting the family and Pack

Chapter 6

Waking up wrapped in Brians arms was the best feeling for Elizabeth. He looked so peaceful as he slept. She realized the more time she spent with him the more she couldn’t live without him and couldn’t understand how her mother could throw that feeling away all for her. Looking at her mate sleeping so close to her, she couldn’t help but lean over and kiss his perfectly soft lips. Brian woke up slightly and wrapped his arms around her holding her close, neither wanting to move but knowing they had to. Today was the day Elizabeth was joining Brian in the pack house. Nerves were getting the better of her, it is never easy to move but to move in with people you don’t know in a whole new world you know nothing about, was a bit overwhelming for her. Rosie perked up “Lizzy everything will be fine, everyone will love you. You have nothing to worry about.” she tried to reassure Lizzy. Redundantly she moved his arms from her waist and started getting dressed. She put on her favorite red shirt that showed just the right amount of her stomach and a pair of jean shorts, braiding her hair she finished her look for the day, and she thought she did pretty well. “You look great Lizzy, and you're going to be a fantastic Luna. Just keep your head held high. The goddess would not have paired you with an alpha if you were not going to be a good luna. Remember that.” those were the last words Rosie shared before Elizabeth walked out of the bathroom. Feeling a little better about herself, she walked with her head high, right into Brian. 

“Hello beautiful” he said with his dashing smile. “Good morning handsome’ how did you sleep?” she asked quietly. “With an angel in my arms, wonderfully, best night's sleep I have had in a very long time.” he replied as he kissed her forehead. Blushing Elizabeth turned away embarrassed by how red she became, which only made him laugh. “come on let’s get going a lot to do today.” He said as he grabbed her hand and lead her to the car waiting for them out front. As she closed the door to her childhood home for the last time, she was caught by a small sense of sadness and at the same time joy, because even though one part of her life was ending a whole new life was about to begin. “Ready to go my love?” Brian whispered in Elizabeth’s ear, slowly moving a random strand of hair from the side of her face, kissing her mark on her neck. Smiling Elizabeth took one last look at the house she grew up in, “yes, let’s go home.” 

The drive seemed a lot longer than it really was, Elizabeth eyes were drawn to the huge house in front of her. It had to be at least four stories, all red brick with black trim, it had huge bay windows on each floor and the front door was bright red with a crescent moon shaped window in the middle. It was beautiful from top to bottom and larger than she could have ever thought. “It's beautiful” Elizabeth said in awe. Brian smiled, “It’s now your home and almost as beautiful as you.” Showing him her shy smile that he loved so much “shall we go in?” she asked. Brian smiled from ear to ear, “after you my love, there are a lot of people waiting to meet their Luna.” Even though she was nervous Elizabeth held her head high as she entered the place she would now call home, 

As she entered the door all her worries went away, the first thing she saw was a huge banner that said, “Welcome our future Luna!” Elizabeth was met with an enormous number of faces all looking to meet her. Elizabeth let out a sigh of relief. She was home. Her mother finally found her after pushing her way through the crowd. “Oh honey, I’ve missed you! How are you feeling? Are you ok?” Lily asked Elizabeth rather quickly, before eyeing the mark on her neck, Lily gave Elizabeth a knowing smile and said “well Hun I guess you're ok after all” she said with a smirk, making Elizabeth blush knowing what her mother saw. Moving along she met a lot of people she wasn’t sure if she would remember half of their names. But she remembered the important ones, Brian’s family, her family. 

The first one she met was Brians mother Violet. Violet was so happy to meet the girl who made her oldest boy so happy, she wrapped her arms around Elizabeth and gave her a motherly hug, “I am so happy to finally meet the girl that has been driving my son crazy! You are more beautiful than I thought, I am so happy for the two of you.” she told Elizabeth before she was pulled away to meet the next person. The next person she came across was Brians father, Evan the current Alpha of the pack, Elizabeth thought Alphas would look mean and tough, and he did. “Hello Ms. Elizabeth, I am very pleased to meet you finally.” Evan looked her over and gave her a slight smirk. “Hello sir, nice to meet you, I can see where Brian gets his looks.” Elizabeth said in a matter-of-fact tone. And they did. They both had perfect brown hair and bright sky blue almost gray eyes, they were tall and solid muscle. You could tell they were related from a mile away. Elizabeth could feel someone starring at her, but when she looked around, she couldn’t see the source. It was unnerving to her. Feeling something was off with his mate, Brian pulled her aside, “hey, is everything okay? You look like somethings wrong?”. “I'm fine I just have a funny feeling someone is watching me; I mean I know everyone is looking at me, but this is different. I don’t know how to explain it besides saying its uncomfortable. I felt their eyes burning into me but when I looked around no one was even looking at me. It's just weird to me.” Elizabeth tried to explain before she could say anything else, she was pulled away and wrapped in someone else’ arms. As she was being pulled from him, Jack, Brians wolf let out a small growl, once they saw who it was they couldn’t help but laugh. Maddie had Elizabeth wrapped in a huge hug, Maddie was Brians youngest sibling, she was also the only girl. “Oh my god, it’s about time you got here I've been waiting FOREVER for you to finally show up, I mean do you know what it's like to be surrounded by nothing but men all the time. Ni mean how is a girl to survive!” Maddie was talking to Elizabeth so fast; she could barely understand her. Luckily Brian came to the rescue. “Hey mads, give her a break, you know you have the best brothers in town.” just as Brian said the words Ryan walked up. Ryan is the middle child, he is the jokester, he had his mothers’ red hair and bright green eyes. He was a foot shorter than Brian and not as built. “Hey sis, you bugging the new girl already, she’s only been here a couple hours. Give her a break would ya.” he said before he started laughing, turning to Elizabeth “Hey there Mrs. Lunabeth how ya

doin’? Excuse my lil sis, she just wants someone to girl talk with in the house haha. By the way names Ryan.” he said to her holding out his hand. Elizabeth tilted her head and took his hand “Nice to meet you Ryan, Lunabeth huh, I kinda like it” she said smiling. Elizabeth could tell the two of them would get along great. “Maddie, I would love to girl talk with you later, maybe you can give me some juicy details on your brothers here.” Elizabeth said with a smile. Both boys had a scared look on their face “DONT YOU DARE!” they both yelled at once. Their reaction made both girls die laughing. 

Their laughing brought over a few new faces, all wanting to know what was so funny. “Yo Bri, what’s so funny?” said a guy who looked like a model out of a magazine. “Nothings funny Jacob, Mrs. Lunabeth over here is trying to squeeze intel from mads.” Brian said to his best friend. “Hey” Ryan chimed in “you cant call her that, Mrs. Lunabeth is my name for her, you call her hunny bunny or something Sicking like that!” Brian started laughing, Elizabeth scowled. Looking at Brian she told him “You ever call me hunny bunny and you’ll be finding a nice couch somewhere.” Fear hit Brians eyes “I would never do such a thing sweetheart.” he said. “Oh snap! The beast can be tamed” said another young boy. Elizabeth smiled “hi I'm Elizabeth but everyone can call me Lizzy.” she said to the boy. “Hey there Lizzy, I'm Travis” nudging Ryan, “I’m this assholes’ best friend.” he said laughing. 

She met a few others, Austin, who she was told would be her bodyguard was just one of the many. Everyone seemed to like her, well except Jessica. Jessica was Jacob's twin sister; Elizabeth didn’t know until later that Jess had a crush on Brian since they were in kindergarten. There was tension there. Soon the welcome party was over, and Brian was leading Elizabeth to the bedroom so they could relax. “Let’s get some sleep love” he said to her as he shut the door.” Elizabeth yawned “that actually sounds pretty good” she said looking around at the massive room that was now hers. There was a huge king-sized bed with matching end tables.  She looked to the right and saw a ginormous walk-in closet filled with clothes. “Are these all mine?” she asked Brian shocked. “Of course, they are I had your mom go buy you some more things, is that okay?” he asked. Elizabeth had never seen so many clothes in one place before let alone them all be hers. “It’s great!” she said excited as she looked through everything. “Why don’t I start you a bath so you can relax.” Brian mentioned the idea of a bath and Elizabeth melted. “oh yes” she said in almost a moan “a bath would be wonderful.” He smiled seeing her look so happy filled his heart. “Then a bath it is my Luna.” he turned and walked through a door on the other side of the room, and she couldn’t help but follow. When she entered the room, her jaw dropped. This bathroom was bigger than her whole bedroom growing up! It had a huge glass and tile stand up shower with six different streams of water, two sinks, and a three-person jet tub with candles all around and a fireplace built into the wall. Brian had just finished filling the tub, adding rose petals and bubble bath. “Brian this is amazing.” she said as he walked over to her, slowly wrapping his arm around her and giving her a soft and gentle kiss. “I have been waiting to do this since we got here.” he said as he helped her take off her clothes and get into the tub. “now you lay and relax.” he said as he turned to give her some space. “Thank you” she said as he closed the door.
