Chapter 8:Telling Priya partial truth

Sona POV

I didn't know how to behave any more.it was my original plan to tell her about then before anyone else comes to know about it.  She is so far the only person that I know who will not spilt out a secret once it gets her .For my parents whom I am now sure are just my earthly parents, they will drag me to the hospital claiming that I need to see the doctor. For one way or the other I don't blame them since parents always do what is to bring happiness to their children.

“ Are you okay ?”Priya asks coming closer to where I am trying to remove the hands that are covering my eyes.

“ You must be in pain.” she says with concern evident in her voice.

“ No no, I am okay ” I say as I finally get the hands off my eyes.

“ Jesus! You look amazing with these colour of eyes. ” Sona says looking at me keenly .

“ Are you wearing some leases. For sure if some one has just meant you for the first time, he would think that your eyes are truly blue. They are the most beautiful blue eyes that I have ever seen.” she says with wonder in her voice.

I look at her for some time wondering if I should keep her in the dark as I am going to do to the rest if them or I should tell her.

“ Do you have anything that is disturbing you?” she says after observing me feeling so in easy.

I stand up from my office seat and then begin to pace around the  office room like I have something in my stomach that can't let me settle in one place.

 “ I have something very important to tell you ” I finally say .

“Did you finally get laid ?" She asks very excited. That has always been her dream. Can you believe that in the last three months she has practically dragged me to four dates. Their I'd no way you would not go if you had a friend like her.

“oh my God, Priya will you ever think straight for just a minute ” I reply as I nod my head at her.

“ Come on, is it bad to get laid. As much as I know having sex is normal and when you are normal it means you can have sex ” she always have replies to questions that I ask her.

“ Priya, this is serious. You need to know it before I am fired from the company by your brother for not marketing his new clothes ” I say.

“ you seem more serious, It seems you found out that you are pregnant and now you are going to marry the father of the pregnancy. ” she jokes once again.

“ Priya...this is serious. Just listen to me this once.”i plead with her one more time.

“ At your service , blue eyed quuwn ” she replies just like he did in the car. However I choose to ignore that at the present.

“ I did not put any more eye lenses on my eyes. ” I say suddenly making her look at me with eyes full of questions.

“i woke up with my eyes turned to blue.” I add before she asks any questions.

“ it seems I belong to the snake kingdom since they are the ones that are capable of doing such things.like changing the colour if the eyes. ” I tell her though I know that I am lying to her partially. I am the supposed to be crown snake queen and I know that. 

I have been blessed by Lord Shaghan as the queen .

 “ You mean all those stories that we have been watching in movies are true” she asks sounding serious for the first time which is not her character at all. 

“ yes, it seems I am going to be the next queen but I don't know any if it. I just woke up with my eyes blue which is the first step according to the movies.

“ This is so incredible. I cannot believe you are going to be queen. Of course I will be beside you ” she says so happy but then pauses for a moment before adding “ But where is the snake kingdom ” she asks suddenly.

But I cannot tell her every thing right now. It will not be good for her and me as well.it  will confuse her to death . And we consider humans as the most enemies that lead to the death of my mom and dad. Humans still caused my banishment from the snake kingdom with the help of the red serpent.

I remember exactly what happened thousands of years ago when I got banished from the kingdom. I knew that the only solution that I had was My human lover Patel. I didn't have powers to fight the enemy that had taken over the snake kingdom. I was also so afraid and knew that the dragons were about to attack.

That left me with one option, to go back to earth and meet my love. At least then I would get a strategy and help from gods to get the Black Stone that had powers to defeat any enemy

“ Are you okay ?” I hear Priya's voice making me get shaken from my thoughts of how Patel, the man that I loved with all my heart disappointed me.

“ Yes...I am okay ” I answer trying so much to sound composed.

“ Priya, promise me that you are not going to tell it to any one ” I add..

“ Are you sure about it ?”she asks me.

“ Yes, iam . I want it to be between us until when-” just then the door flies open revealing the most angry Mr Rollins. Why would he come here when he has a secretary.

“Miss Sona, where is -” he says angrily but then he sees his sister which makes him soft a bit.

“ is that a way to speak to a Lady, Dev ” Priya challenges him. I am sure the only person that has the ability of making him do something is his sister, Priya. She is her soft spot.

“ I came in to ask your friend to give me the progress with the new brand designers ”he says shooting daggers into me by just his eyes onto me.

“ Mr Rollins, I have already contacted the Marketers and they have already made a progress. A 13% increase in sales is already detected. ” I lie. That is the only way if you don't want to get any trouble from him.

“ Woow!”Dev, you have such a competent worker. I wonder how it would be if you had her both at work and home.

That is Priya for you, sh has tried so much to match make us but I thin that is the most stupid thing that she can Do. I know nothing will ever happen between us .He is the real ideal jerk that a girl with a heart would not want to date at all.

“ Okay, send the details to my email now . And you , Priya. I need to talk to you.”he says getting out with Priya following behind. Damn it! How am I going to get the 13% sale increase like I told him. It is hard to even get 5% increase a day with this stiff competition that has come up.

“ My goodness what am I going to do ?” I cry out as I open my laptop to check on the sales.

“Damn it! , we only have a 2.9% increase so far.” I murmur as I look closely at the sales bar. I keep knocking out my head as I Hope that something will surely happen that will give me some hope.

“  My queen, I am at your service ” I suddenly hear a voice from behind making me look back. There us a man who is about thirty years and he is dressed in Avery expensive suit 

 “ Who are you and how have you got into my office when it is closed ?”i ask him perplexed .

“ I am Nima, the serpent that helps to make things to do with computers and soft ware happen” he says as he bends down murmuring a few words to himself a flash forming for a second and the next thing is a green medium snake appearing. This means this is the true nature.

“ let your will happen queen serpent ” the snake hisses and the it disappears suddenly. Just then I get a notification on my laptop.

“ Congratulations, Rollins dressing line. You have a new increase in sales that is 26 % . You are now Number one in the fashion industry "

“ What!” I nearly throw the laptop on the ground at teg Suddwn suprise. How did this happen? It takes a company at least six months to get 19%increase in sales and this can only happen if extremely high techniques of advertisements are made.

“ The green serpent did it , this is really going to be very interesting for me.”.I say to my self as I nod my head at the sudden action.
