Chapter 9: Don't ever fall in love .

Sona POV

I scrolled through the the details just to make sure that every thing moved through as he wanted them to.it was hard for me to believe that our company had been put back to number one. With this stiff competition, it was some thing that was going to be greatly appreciated by almost Every member on the board.

“ Yes, Norah” I say looking up as soon as I see her enter my office.

“ Mr Rollins said he is tired of waiting any longer. He wants to get all the details about the increase in sales before the board meeting " she says her eyes hardly meeting mine. I wonder when she will ever stop being shy. She is shy in front of any one. She acts so small and timid a character that in the end makes her look weird.

“ Oohh, go and in from him that I will be sending it in a few minutes "  say to Norah as I get back to my work on the laptop.

“Am afraid miss, I won't be leaving unless when you have given me a hard copy of that document. If not then the boss will be firing me. He was so furious when I left .” Norah says acting panic stricken.

“ is it this serious ?” I answer trying to ease the tension that us evident in the air.

“ How I wish it was not as serious as it is .” she says with a smile. A rare for her. She is not one who smiles all the time. Every time I look at her, she seems to be having something serious going on in her mind. 

“ I wonder why Every one is so afraid of him. He is just like any of us. There is no need to treat him like a god” I say. I don't know where I have got the courage in me buy suddenly I feel like I am a very strong person he is so fierce and is not afraid about anything 

“ I haveaso realised that his eyes never leave you. He must like you.” she says now acting so free than how she was only a few minutes ago when she came in.

“ Okay, here you are ” I say handing her the printed file.” 

“ Inform him that the soft copy has been sent to his computer.

“ Thanks , queen ” she mumurs as ahw leaves the office which makes me shocked. How did she know ?

“ What did you call me ?” I ask her just as she is about to get out which makes her to suddenly stop but her face not turning around to meet mine. 

“ Norah! ” I call her one more time. I am in total shock, why did she call me queen? That cab only mean that she knows so much from me.

“ why did you call Me queen ?” I ask her once again taking her by surprise when I touch her shoulder but even then she refuses to turn around.

“ You are beautiful . I mean you are so beautiful and so any one can call you Queen ” she answers in a shaky voice but not turning around once.

“ Okay, you can take the files to Mr Rollins before he gets furious with you.” I tell her and she gets out quickly . I can see that she has something that she is hiding from me.

“ Lord shaghan. I need you to show me the true people that are my enemies and those that are my friends ” I recite at the temple alter. I am in my complete sanke shape . I am so sacred. My revenge is supposed to have Started but my powers are so weak now that I can not see who my enemies are and who my true friends are.

Suddenly lightening takes over the whole place . it appears as though its is about to rain. This can only be because their is some one that is approaching .I kneel down to offer respect.

“ welcome my daughter, you have done me so much great favor ”a hoarse voice comes from in between the lightening.

“ You have to use the blue eyes that have been given to you to know who is good and who is your enemy ” the voice adds as I listen on attentively .

“ One thing you should know that both the good and bad people are closet to you. You should use your eyes to find them. Don't forget one more thing, as the crown Queen.. Never fall in love , it is a point of weakness and it will weaken you and turn you away from your mission ” The voice goes on and suddenly another lightening strucks and the voice is no more. 

I look around not knowing what exactly to do . I have heard what is necessary but how am j going to detect the good and the bad people. The evil snakes and all other creatures who have something to do with the death of my dad, who was the king and also destruction of my kingdom.

“ where am I going to get the black Stone from ?” I ask my self aloud .

“ I will be at your side to help you ” I hear another sound and the movement towards me can tell that he or she is a serpent like me . Either from my kingdom or from another kingdom.

“ Who are you and what are you doing in the temple oford Shaghan?” I ask saying a brown sanke. I have not seen it before.

“ I said who are you ?’’ i ask again losing patience but the brown serpent doesn't say anything.

I can't risk getting killed now. This will mean my race will whipped out .I have to get the black Stone, it is the only solution that we have to again all our powers. Since the brown snake is not showing me any true identity, I have to get rid of him or her. 

Just when I am about to biet her, she shows mW her human identity.

“ Norah! ” I say shocked .This is the last thing that I expected. Norah is a nagin as well. I didn't see this coming.

“ At your service my queen ” she says kneeling down before me.

“ Why didn't you tell me before? ” I ask her referring to all the times that I have been with her at office.

“ We are not allowed to do that. You have to find us your self ” she says still bowing before.

“ I am one of the good one s who is supposed to protect you and help you with your Mission. ” she explains to me.

“ There are many others but you have to find them yourself. ”.

“ Permission to leave my Queen " she says bowing down once again and I give it to her .She turns to her snake nature and goes away. 

It means u have to begin the mission.
