Its been four months already and it hasn't been easy with Stella because David's attitude towards her keeps on getting worse. It reached a time he slapped her just because she didn't cook for him and he gave all his maids leave which typically means non of them are around so she had to do everything. Its been a month since Stella left America for London and she's been coping well over there making lots of friends. The first day she got to London she made a friend named Lovia and they've been very close since that day. They most of the times hung out together and Lovia sometimes sleepover at Stella's house. He searched for her since the day she left yet still no information has reached him about his wife. He later reported it to the police as a kidnap case. Stella tried not to laugh since she was serious but looking at her face again she couldn't hold it in and let it out earning a harsh glare from Lovia. TWO MONTHS LATERStella decided to return back to America after she felt that she will be able to face David. She called her secretary to prepare for her arrival. She returned to the States in the morning to see her secretary and her chauffeur waiting for her. Immediately they saw they went for her luggages. "Is good to be back home." She said after she sat in the car and turned to her secretary. "Welcome back Ma'am. I hope you enjoyed yourself overseas and the company is going on well, everything is intact there has been no problem since you left." She said knowing the reason why Stella turned to her. "Thank you Jane. Thank you once again for taking care of the company in my absence. Remind me to treat you to dinner and less I forget I'll double your pay this month same to you Uncle for not letting my husband know of my whereabout." She said thankfully. "Thank you soo much Ma'am. Stella was awoken by the continuous knocking on her door. She woke up with an unhappy face murmuring to herself. "Just when I'm enjoying my beauty sleep, it has to be interrupted by someone." She opened the door to see one of the maids standing there and smiling her. She smiled back with a questioning look on her face. "Big Madam please boss needs you downstairs and he said I shouldn't return if you're not with me." She said making Stella scoff. "That bastard. He has the nerves after what he did." She whispered to her own hearing. She wanted to refuse but seeing the maid's face, she knew there was more to what David said. "Fine, let me quickly wash my face. I'll be right back." She said and went inside to wash her face after she came outside and followed the maid downstairs. " David King did you in anyway threaten the maid with her job because you knew that I wouldn't come downstairs?" She asked and David proudly answered her. Stella woke up and found herself in a big well designed room. She looked around to see if she'll find any trace of David but she couldn't. "That bastard had the nerves to leave me here alone without even waking me up." She said and was startled when she heard someone clear the throat she turned to the direction she heard it from and saw David with a towel in his hands cleaning his hair and one wrapped around his waist. " When you're done checking me out tell me so that we'll talk." " And what made you think that I was checking you out. The last time I checked I was supposed to be here alone so what happened." Stella woke up in the middle of the night feeling hungry. She was scared to go downstairs alone so she decided to wake David up. "David please wake up. Wake up." She said shaking him till he finally woke up with a displeased face. "What do you want by this time of the night. I need to catch more sleep I'll be going to work early." He said and tried to sleep when Stella shook his shoulder to wake up. "David wake up I'm hungry. You need to find something for me to eat and sleep if not forget about sleeping."
