Memories part 1

Robin stood at the doorway, peering inside the room with a keen eye.

“Go in and see for yourself,” Chris said, pushing him in the back.

Robin stepped inside and stared at the abandoned chairs and stacks of books lined side by side, along with the pictures, etc.

He watched them with tearful eyes.

He walked towards the chairs and then touched the chair. The instant he touched it, an image ran to the back of his mind.

He closed his eyes and recalled a memory playing in his head.

The image of his mother sitting, along with him in his lap when he was little while reading a book aloud.

“Mom, tell me the story of the brave robin-hood again.”

“read it for me.”

“You want to read it again?”.

“How many times do you want to hear the same thing all over again?”.

“I don’t get tired of it no matter how many times I hear it.”

“I just love it, Mommy.”

“That I can see very much well.”

“Come here then. I’ll read it out.”

He sat quietly while his mom began to read.

“And, that’s the end.”
