Companionship

Lucy and Henry were walking in the hallway together.

Henry stopped walking and stared at Lucy’s back.

“Um…..was the meeting over by the time I reached there? Or did I interrupt or something?” he asked.

Lucy looks behind him and gave a complimentary.

“Yes, the important meeting is over. The real task starts next week. Let’s go and join others. I’ll explain everything to you altogether.”

“Oh….sure.”

They reached their department. Lucy called everyone to gather which they did.

Henry was the last one to come as Lucy had told him to fetch something.

After he came Lucy took the paper from him and placed it beside her.

“So, what’s the important meeting that you had gone to attend?” Chelsa asked, her eyes filled with curiosity.

“It’s been over an hour since you came to the office. How will we be able to finish off work for the day?” Zoe added.

Lucy picked up the paper in her hands, and replied, “Work is not important at the moment.”

Nick tilted his head in confusion.

“Then what’s important?”
