Since we have not had a regular pack dinner for a while with me having had my heat and the tournament it seems like a good time to have another one. Of course, there is an extra pack here but we might be able to watch how Kiba and Natalie's interactions have changed over the last couple of days. They have been spending lots of time together but we have not been with them to see how it has been going.
Scarlett is excited to come over and see what all has changed as well since she has not been around much. Apparently her pregnancy has been making her extremely sick lately so she has been stuck in her house. I planned to go see her tomorrow but she said she thinks that she can make it to the dinner as long as food is involved.
As Dante and I head out to get some food for the dinner tonight, I can't help but wonder what is going on with Lovette. Nobody has really seen or heard from her recently as she has been staying with a psychiatrist while they figure out

Dinner is going to be a hit tonight. We got the steaks cooking and we are also making plenty of sides as well as what everybody else is bringing. Kiba is coming over to help us cook the meat since he is not back with his own pack yet. As I change my clothes into a light sundress, I look into the mirror and see an amazing change before me. Even though I exercise constantly I have gained quite a bit of weight since coming here. I am by no means overweight but I finally do not have bones sticking out from being underweight anymore. I have gained lots of muscle in places that I did not know I could gain muscles either. Even my skin and hair seems to be healthier lately. When I first came here my hair hung down a little on the lifeless side and my skin just looked worn all of the time. The pack dinner lasted late into the night and ended with all of us in the rec area playing games. Dante and I won all of the team games that we played. Overall, we all ended up having a fantastic night even if we did all get to bed extremely late. Now, it is time to get back to our lessons and making sure that the pack is prepared for attacks by either wolves or witches. Granted, we have not told them that we are preparing for witches as well but hopefully some of the training that we have been giving them will help with that as well. So far, Lovette is still not cleared to come back here as the therapist thinks that it might trigger her to back slide to where she started but I am waiting impatiently for the day that she can attend classes again. She was a natural and I am sure that without the distraction caused by Akela she will thrive even more than before. While I am teaching combat style lessons to the females and younger wolves, Dante is also increasing

True to her word, Natalie told Kiba of her intentions to go with him back to his back after the pack dinner. Today is the day that she is planning to leave and the entire pack has turned out to help her pack up and move. It is raining slightly but that does not dampen everybody's mood. We are all thrilled for Natalie and the chance at a good life for her and her pup. Some still have reservations on Kiba's demeanor but as they spend more time with him, watching him interact with her, most of those reservations seem to be going away. Scarlett and the other women that grew up with Natalie are shocked to see her leaving and are not actually much help to the packing and moving process. They keep breaking down into tears and fits of hugging that are nowhere near productive.Besides that, most of the pack is happy to see her going somewhere where her pup will be well taken care of and they can have the life that they should have had if her mate hadn't died so early. We are not entirely sure when the witch is going to show up or which one it even is. In order to prepare we are trying to find different things that might hint to who I am and cover them up. The photos of me and my parents that were in the pack house are going to storage as is the correspondence that I received from my grandmother. Thankfully, there is not much else that might hint at who I actually am.The wait to find out when a witch is going to come and visit is absolutely brutal. I find myself jumping at every noise and completely unable to relax no matter what. Poor Dante is not sure what to do for me as he has to be nervous himself at the prospect of meeting one of the witches. Our biggest worry is which witch will it be? Rosa meant what she said about trying to get as much training done as she could before she had to head back to the other witches. We showed her to her room and then went to make lunch. As soon as we all sat down for lunch the questions began. "So, what kind of abilities do you have?" Rosa asked. "Um, I am not sure. What do you mean?" I ask confused. "Well, each witch has one area that they specialize in even though you should be able to dabble a little bit in each area of witch studies. The fact that you are also a werewolf means that your abilities might differ slightly or maybe you even have less abilities. Some witches have an elemental affinity, some have almost skinwalker tendencies while others mostly focus on herbs and potions. Have you noticed anything unique about you that might hint at any of these abilities?" She asks sweetly. Thinking of how I can turn into different animals I nod slightly. After we finish our lunch, Rosa and I head outside to start training. She immediately takes off into the woods like she knows the way around already. I guess if she has been keeping an eye on me for a while now then there is a chance that she knows where she is going. I am not quite sure where we are heading yet though.She keeps striding purposely through the undergrowth and after a few minutes I start to get a sense of where she is taking me. Keeping my mind link with Dante open I tell him that I think we are heading to my old den. He is to inform the patrols to stay away from there while we are out and warns me to be careful. He is just as nervous as I am about me being alone with a witch but Rosa insisted that our craft is supposed to stay between women only and no man can be present. Luckily for her, I still have the note from my grandmother stating that she could never tell her own son about her being a witch so I do believe this part."As we are walking, I

With Rosa's help, I quickly learn different herbs and plants that are used for potions as well as how to store them. She makes sure that I write down different uses as well as the ones that are not to be mixed at all. I even have to keep track of different side effects of the ones that are not to be mixed so I know what to expect. Some combinations cause a deadly gas, some explode and others will turn to cement. I cannot imagine having all of this memorized the way that she does but she just keeps rambling off facts about different ingredients that I am expected to remember. By the time dinner rolls around my mind is so exhausted that I can barely think straight anymore. Rosa told me that she was going to teach me how to make protections spells and potions but ever since we started with potions we have not gotten past learning ingredients. There is a lot more to this than I thought there would be. How much am I going to be able to learn before she has to leave?

Rosa had some very valid points concerning the future of both witches and werewolves. We do need to find a way for both races to work together and find some semblance of peace. If there were more hybrids like myself we could find a way to be mediums between the two races but as it is Rosa still insists that I am the only one she knows of.As Dante finishes up cooking, I stand next to him in thoughtful silence. He seems to be just as lost in thought as I am as he has not tried to talk to me either. The silence is a little comforting as we each have time to work through our thoughts before we talk about things together. Rosa has been inside ever since she left us with the bombshell thoughts about someone taking over the Coven and changing the way things are run.
