The sandwiches eventually got eaten after we had another round of burning calories. Once I wake up again from my next nap, I notice that I feel a little different than after the last few naps. This time, I feel lighter and more energized. Poor Dante is still passed out on the bed, not even stirring. I must have worn the poor guy out.
Hopefully, this is a sign that my heat is ending. As I get up and stretch, I notice that the sun is just now coming up over the horizon. Day 3, I have hopes to be able to get out of this room and maybe even this house today.
It might be best to take a shower after all of this bedroom activity I have been doing lately. I grab some comfy clothes and head into the bathroom. As I start the shower I hear Dante start to stir. I was trying to let him rest a little longer but he could definitely use a shower as well so I step in and start shaving before he can join me.

Thankfully, I made it all of the way to lunch without any more episodes signalling that my heat was still going so Dante made a dinner reservation for us. I cannot wait to get out of this house! It might have only been 3 days but it feels almost like a life time. While I did love having the time with just Dante, I did not like the way my body had a life of it's own the entire time. I am ready to get back to normal. Well, normal for me that is.For dinner, we head out to the Italian Restaurant that we have begun to grow so fond of lately. That was the best bet to have ever lost. I am not entirely sure that I tried to win it though. It was far too much fun to lose. By the time we fall asleep it is only a few hours before dawn. Today is the day that I end up kicking Kiba's ass in the finals of the tournament so that I can hopefully gain more information from him. First though, we have the semi finals.The semi finals are going to consist of me vs my wonderful mate, and Kiba vs one of our other warriors. Soon, we will know exactly who is the better fighter. Me, or Dante. Kiba is in the first match though so we sit back to watch and look for any potential weaknesses. So far his only down fall seems to be his complete brutality in the ring. He does not seem to be worried about getting injured and just goes all out no matter who the opponent.As he steps into the ring, he glances at me before taking his place. I am not sure what the glance is supposed to mean but he either seemed concerned or curious. H

Dante and I climb into the ring right before our match is supposed to start. We may have gotten a little distracted just now but it is time to shake that feeling off and focus on our match. Finally, I get to test myself against my mate to see who is the better fighter."Are you ready beautiful?" Dante asks."Oh yeah, just promise me one thing." I say back."What's that?" The time for the match between Kiba and I is intense. He did not expect me to attack as soon as the match started which gives me an advantage. In every match that I saw of his, he was always the first to attack so hopefully, I can use this to win the tournament.As I lunge at him, he twists early to try and dodge it but I swtich course and bring my fist into his ribs harder than I probably should have. He does not even grunt or act like I managed to get a hit on him. The only sign that he noticed is the slightly raised eyebrow as he looks at me in surprise. I keep up my attack so that he does not get the upper hand again.By now I am sure that he has seen me leg sweep a few people so I do not want to use that move unless I have to. Relying mostly on my fists, I keep hitting him with a speed which he cannot match. The most he manages to do is to block about half of the punches that I send his way. The doctor gets done taking an x-ray of my foot and declares that the bone had already started healing crooked so he sadly had to rebreak the toe before it could heal fully. It hurts worse when you know it is going to happen than when in the middle of a fight. Luckily, the adrenaline had not fully worn off or else I am sure that it would have hurt a whole lot worse."You are amazing, just so you know." All night I spent agonizing over what I am going to ask Kiba and what his answers will be. I thought about just trying to get a favor from him instead of information but I really want that information of the night 10 years ago. No, I need the information. What really happened between him and my mother, did he really sell them out, how did my parents even get together?I am not sure if he can supply all of the needed answers but he does know them better than anybody else does. He might even know my grandmother if he had ties close to the witches back then. It is nice to know that Scarlett is my cousin but I constantly wonder about other family that I did not know about in the past. After talking to Skoll for a while I have a slightly new outlook on who Kiba is. While he is still just as dangerous as I originally thought, at least I know that he is not completely heartless. I am not entirely sure why he sold my parents out even though I heard what he said in the cottage before but that just does not add up with the man that Skoll just spoke of. Of course, he could have been sent to try to throw me off before I go to meet with his Alpha. When Dante finally wakes up, I head back into our bedroom to take a shower before our meeting. Once we are finally finished with our shower we get ready to go meet Kiba. Kevin said that he is at the house that we loaned him expecting us. The walk is not a long one but we stop for coffee on the way. I am happy to say that I can finally order my own coffee without having to rely on somebody else.
