Elle, Julia and Hazel ended up all sleeping in the pack house with all of the rescuees to keep them from having another panic attack. They were able to keep in contact with us by having Eric stay up there to keep Rand informed of everything that is going on. From what I gather, Eric and Savannah once had a thing together. Eric only became head of security for the pack once she was taken and he proved his worth by doing everything possible to try to find her and keep the rest of the pack safe. Even though I never had a doubt, they were completely safe above ground for the night. During the day, my witches are going to all be switching duty so that they can all get some sleep while we determine the best way to get the pack moved. It will have to be done quickly and without much fuss so that we can make sure that we get them there before the Coven decides that they might want to change their minds once again. It most likely will not happen after how Simonetta treated them but it is stil
It took hours for anybody to come to a concrete decision on location for the pack. Eventually, the decision was made for them to move to where they thought that the pack would feel safest at. It is the same area that I had proposed as being the easiest to protect them from. Figuring out how long to wait to move there, that was yet another issue. Turns out, even though the pack has been living underground for the past few years, Rand still has a rather large sum of money set aside for further emergencies. He does not however, have enough for both the land and rebuilding. That is what we are currently trying to figure out."We have plenty of money to loan you until you are able to pay us back if you need us to. It will not bother us in any way. Besides, it is like helping family." Dante tells Rand with a pointed look in my father's direction.Frank does not seem too impressed with taking that sum of money from his daughter's mate though. Instead, it almost seems to spur him on more whe
Frank is speechless for just a moment as he stares at me. I know that it must be quite a shock to find out that I care for her after everything that happened to my family but she has been there for me in the last few months more than many others have. Without her, my pack and I would not be safe right now. I would have fallen prey to the witches and never gotten free. I most likely would not be alive right now if it were not for everything that she has done for me."I did not kick her out though. It could not have been that rude." He says hesitantly.I cannot help the laugh that escapes at that. I believe that Elle and I made that same joke when she told me what was going on. She might not be on his VIP list but he definitely did not want her to stay either. I, on the other hand, got kicked out when I first made it here. Not that he could have forced me to leave but the blow to my confidence was quite hurtful."I know that. I believe she made sure to tell me. I just wanted to see if y
"Actually, I would really like to learn more of the story about your past. My past in a way. If you are up for it that is." I say shyly.Frank looks at me like he is debating on how he wants to answer it. We have not had time to talk over more of their past in the last couple of days. Things have been hectic and crazy since I got here. That is definitely my fault considering that I had to shake things up so much since I got here. Not that they were actually living a life of leisure before then to be fair."Yes, I think that I could do that. Let me run and bring us back some food and drinks and then I can continue on with our story." Frank says as he gets up."No, I got it. You can start your story while I go and grab the food. I am sure that you two could use some time alone anyways." Dante offers.I give him a smile as he gets up to grab our dinner. I use my magic to turn the chair into a lounge chair and lean back to get more comfortable. I have felt much better the last day or so s
Before Frank is able to continue his story, Dante gets back with our food and drinks. He helps us all get situated with our food while Frank still has a bright smile on his face. Watching him relive these memories really helps put into perspective the love that they had for each other. Maybe not at this point in the story but eventually there was plenty. If not then there is no way that I would be here now. After I get my food and a glass of milk, I look back at Frank. I want him to continue on but he is so lost in thought right now that I am not sure if he even realizes he has food. It almost feels as if I can see the memories flashing in his eyes even if I cannot quite see them."Do you want to tell me about the next time you saw her?" I ask quietly. He snaps out of his memory with a jolt and glances at me and then down at his food. Must have really been a good memory to have drawn him in that far. Hopefully, it is something that I will enjoy hearing as well."Um, yeah I can. It act
Knowing that he did not know anything about the supernatural world is still a bit of a shock. There are so many signs that people choose to ignore when it comes to different species. There were many signs that he ignored when he was at the bar. I cannot wait to hear about his reaction when he finally learns the truth about who everyone really is. Or what they are actually."So, what happened? I mean, you both finally admitted to feeling something so what happened next? I guess you never really hid how you felt but having her admit feeling something back had to give you a self esteem boost. How did you handle it?" I asked excitedly."Well, I still did not realize how much I was missing. I did not understand that she was shocked that I felt the tingles because I was not a werewolf like her. I know that with my mother being a witch, it really opened me up to the supernatural, but of course, I did not know that she was a witch. That was a very well kept secret. Not for too much longer tho
I guess that that would be a fairly quick way to get introduced to werewolves. Must have given him one heck of a heart attack as well. I cannot imagine the thoughts that must have been going through his mind as he watched the woman that he was dreaming about turn into a giant wolf."What did she look like?" I ask in awe."You don't remember do you?" He asks sadly.I shake my head at him. I can barely remember what my mother looked like in her human form. In her wolf form it is near impossible to remember her. I remember running with her through the woods in our wolf forms. There was a feeling of freedom and happiness that only a child can feel. Remembering what she looked like though, that completely eludes me."Well then, I guess I will describe her before I tell you my reaction to her. She was pure white. Every piece of her was whiter than any snow I have ever seen. The only part that was not, was each paw. Each paw was pure black. Where the rest of her was void of any and every co
I cannot imagine how much of a shock it must have been for him to find out about werewolves in this fashion. I was lucky enough to grow up knowing about them. The shock for me was the fact that I was also part witch. I might have come to terms with it now but I remember reading my grandmother's letter for the first time and learning that I was more than just a normal werewolf. I had been using some of my witch powers all along without ever realizing it. I just thought that I was an odd werewolf that could also turn into a cardinal. I did not know that I could turn into almost any animal with my magic. When I first got the letter from my grandmother saying that I was part witch, I was more than shocked to learn that the reason my parents had been killed was because of my existence. No, it was not my fault by any means, but it was still caused by the fact that I had even been born. The witches did not want a werewolf to also have witch powers. Not unless I were to allow them to brainwa
