Listening to their story is really intriguing. It is hard to marry the picture of my mother that I have in my head with the woman that my father is describing her to be. Hearing their story has filled a void that I did not know I had. Picturing the bar this vividly has me feeling as if I am going through the memory myself. I feel like laughing as he describes his first meeting with my mother. I had no idea that that is how they first met. That night my dreams consisted of revisiting the story that my father was tellling me about him meeting my mom. All night long, I kept seeing it happen over and over as if I was standing right next to them. I can even see the man that he almost got into a fight with the first night. Instead of waiting for Frank to come and find me in the morning, I decide that I might as well head to the orphanage and look for him there. From what Rand has said he is normally there watching over the orphans. Rand was still hesitant when Frank asked him for permission to take the kids up above ground. I told him that I would be going with as would Dante. The kids all run around while we are outside. They play all kinds of games like tag and hide and seek for hours. Simonetta rushes towards me using wind to guide her speed. It is not enough to throw me off guard though and I shove a wall of dirt up in front of me. Each team splits up and gets ready to make their way through the obstacle course. They are all going to have to take turns trying to make it through safely. Each team has a designated amount of time before they get elminated. The one that makes it through the fastest and with the least amount of mistakes, will be the ones to win the competition. The course is very similar to the one that we did with the entire pack when we first started training. The one that really got the women moving faster as they fought to make good time through the course to beat the men. This one is just a little more geared towards children and not fully grown adults.Some of the obstacles are smaller to better accomodate their size, some things are closer together and they have even added some new obstacles that would have been difficult for the adults. The first night with the babies was quite a bit of a learning curve. Whenever we put them in their bassinets they just started to cry nonstop until we picked them up again. It took a couple of hours to find out that if we put them into the same bassinet they were able to sleep peacefully and not wake us up.
