Even though the Council members were quiet during breakfast, there is no way that it could last all day. I am honestly a little shocked when we finish breakfast and nobody has said a word. What could be keeping them so quiet? I know that they have plenty to say.I do not have to wait long to hear them start bringing up last night though. I avoid Elle for most of the day after dealing with the Council. I can feel her eyes on me while I work with some of the novices on plans for next weekend's dance. After all of the drama with the Council and Hazel we decided to give it another week. Hopefully, this will help to draw the witches back together after last night's incident.As I gather some of the novices together to begin working on their dance, I notice that they all seem particularly quiet. Since we have decided to have some of the Full Witches do the dance with the Novices, it only makes sense that Elle and Rosa joins us for practice this one time. For now, they are under the impression that they are the only ones joining the dance. It will stay that way until the last second. What a surprise it will be for the entire Coven to see me out there dancing with the others. We gather in the foyer again to begin practice. The Novices are much more excited to be learning how to incorporate the dance moves together now. All week long the girls work on their dance every day for a couple of hours before dinner. By Friday they have it almost all of the way down. We are just going to have to hope for the best on Sunday when we do it in front of everyone. There have been no more major explosions since the second day of our practices so I will take that as a hopeful sign.Tonight, I am going to try to go to the pack dinner once again. Hopefully this time the Council does not try anything while I am gone. Looking out across the faces of the pack members, I find myself smiling at them all. It sure does feel good to be home again. Both places are my home but each one represents a different part of me. The pack dinner went amazingly. It took most of the night before I felt like I could fully relax but it was well worth it to sit with my pack the entire night. I got a chance to catch up with Amora and the happenings in the pack. I made yet another promise to go and see Scarlett and Ulfred. I even got a chance to dance to a couple of songs with my wonderful mate. Overall, I could not be more pleased with how the night went.I did end up heading back to the witch house for the night after we were done with the dinner.
