Arriving at the pack feels like coming home. It was definitely the right decision for tonight. I am looking forward to spending some time at home with Dante and not having to worry about the witches for the night. They always have a way to get ahold of me so I am not worried about them. It has been quite a while since I have had his cooking besides at the pack dinners. It is different when it is just for us though. Spending the evening with Dante for dinner was pure bliss. We made a deal not to talk about any threats to us after the dinner was done. Instead, we just caught up on each other, told some stories and enjoyed our company. There was nobody watching and judging me as I ate and socialized. What a freeing feeling.After dinner, we decide to sit in the rec room and watch a movie. There is no point in working on a movie series since we have no idea when I will be back here again. Instead, we choose the movie Eragon. For once, I have to admit that I am not a huge fan of the movie. I read the book at one point and the movie just does not do the book justice. The books were pure genious while the movie was just a little 'bleh'. The story line itself was still pure genious but the way that they made the movie was lacking. Friday morning arrives quickly. With it, comes some of the notes from Safiya about the tradition dances. She has notes on a rain dance, a coming of age dance, and even a mate dance. Apparently witches used to do a dance when they wanted to find someone to have a child with. They would ask the Moon Goddess for a sign as to who they should try to conceive with.This is complete news to me as it almost seems like they were looking for something similar to a mate. Sure, werewolves do not have to ask her for a sign for us, but for many of us there is a predetermined perfect mate out there. She has already made the one that she thinks would be the best for us so we just have to keep an open mind when meeting them.Elle informs me that she has never completed this dance before and neither has anybody that she knows. I guess this all technically does not have to be on me. I do not have to fight everybody for the dream that I have. The dream that the Moon Goddess has shown me. That dream shows all of our children living in peace. Both species living together and getting along. Sometimes breeding between the species may occur but that could only benefit us further. This dream is not something that I could ever give up. I want my children to grow up safely. I want them to know that nobody is going to hunt them down the second they walk away from the pack. After talking with Safiya for I find that I have a renewed sense of purpose as I finish my walk to the pack. She surprises me by wanting to come with me to observe how the wolves act when they are not being attacked by witches. Apparently, this is a bit of a foreign concept to her.There are party lights strung along all of the trees encircling the back of the pack house. This time, Dante and Kevin have set up a stereo outside so that everybody can listen to music while we enjoy our dinner. Most of the pack has already arrived and are mulling around, talking to each other in groups.Looking back at Safiya, I can see that she is once again dressed in her typical Witch Council attire. She is wearing a business suit that has a series of lunar phases going up the sides and running under her arms. There is also a small pin on her lapel that shows the symbol for a witch. "Is that what this weird glowing thing means?" I ask her."You didn't know? I take it that it has happened before?" She asks me."One other time. It was when she instructed me on how to take on the Coven. After I beat them I had the same glow about me as I followed her instructions." I admit.Remembering that day, I did feel like I was being led at the moment. The same way I felt while we were having this converation. Safiya's secret friend has some problems formulating a greeting when he finally reaches our group. After a fair bit of staring the first word that I hear him say is, "Wow."It takes everything in both me and Dante not to start laughing at his extensive vocabulary. After a few more seconds of pained silence, Dante finally takes pity on him and mind links him. It does not take long for him to start giving compliments to Safiya on how she look while I continue to struggle with holding in my laughs. It is not very often that werewolf males get so flustered around someone. Especially after sleeping with them. After a little bit of small talk is exchanged between the two of them, Dante and I decide to give them a little more room and let them talk alone. Moving just a couple of feet away, I find myself surrounded by pack members coming to say hi. Each one gives me a smile or even a hug before moving on to mingle with others. It is always nice to get such a heartwarming welcome each week.T

After promises to visit with Scarlett soon, I find myself seeking out Amora. With me spending so much time with the Coven she has been doing my normal Luna duties. I feel bad about her picking them back up for me when I only just took them over but I have not yet found a way to do both. "Laina, it is so good to have you here tonight. How have things been going over there? I do not hear much from Dante as far as progress." She says as she gives me a hug. "It has definitely been improving. I am hoping that we will be able to join the Coven and Pack more often soon so that I am around more. How have things been going here?" I ask her. "Oh, you know, teenage boys getting into trouble. We have another pregnancy to celebrate. Scarlett and Ulfred are doing well. Overall the pack is seeming to be doing good." She tells me.
