My sleep is without dreams for the first time in a long time. It feels like since I accomplished what the Moon Goddess has asked me to do, I can finally take a short rest before the rest of the work begins. I still have to learn how to use the rest of my new powers that she gifted me. Sure, I have already used them to an extent when I blocked Morden's ability to use her own powers but there are more that I have not even begun to tap into. I can feel it there, coiled and just waiting to strike. The next morning, I find that the witches have been hard at work making sure that when my grandmother arrives she will be welcomed into a Coven instead of fighting for her life. They have removed many of the pictures of Morden and instead replaced them with pictures of Elle and I. Most of the pictures of me look like they got them by spying on me as a child but there is one in a place of honor almost as soon as you walk into the foyer that is more recent. Somebody painted a portrait of me on t
"What do you mean you took over the Coven? I thought that you were their prisoner." Elle stammers at me while Dante just watches in shock."I was. The Moon Goddess helped me out. She taught me some things that helped me break out and gain the control I needed to take over. Now, the Coven answers to me. Come, you can help me figure out some things back at the house." I tell them before turning back towards the Coven's house. As we make the long trip back to the house, I try my hardest to answer everyone's questions about what happened. They are all so amazed by what I went through that I do not think they fully believe me. Elle especially seems flabbergasted over the events. Dante just keeps touching me in any way possible, whether it is just a hand on my back or running a finger down my arm as we walk. It is like he has to keep convincing himself that I am really here with him after being imprisoned so long. Smiling at him, I cannot help but be excited about the idea of spending anot
"So, we are just expected to pick up and leave this house already?" Rosa says to me later that afternoon."Yes, yes you are. I know that it seems really fast for you but the vision that the Moon Goddess gifted me with cannot be accomplished if we just stay here. I expect everybody to do as I say and get ready to come with me to a new house. Each witch can design their own room and even have a say in the rest of the house. What else could you all ask for?" I tell her."Well, for one, I know that in the pack you are used to explaining all of your decision fully but with witches you just have to tell us. If you give the witches a long explanation like that then they will think that you are still talking yourself into that decision. Just tell them. If someone wants to know a reason then they can ask without an audience. You do not HAVE to explain everything. Remember, less is more." She tells me."She is right for once. Witches are a little more like soldiers while wolves are more like fa
It does end up taking us a little over a week to make it back to the pack. It only took 2 days for the witches to learn that they are not going to hold us up and they will work with us to get to our destination. There was quite a bit of grumbling between many of them. Rosa and Elle are still not speaking but there is hope that they will work everything out in the near future. Quin comes out to meet us at the pack border looking excited. He is practically bursting with anticipation to show us where the witches are going to be living. As we walk around the outskirts of the pack's territory, we find a gigantic barn that is halway falling apart."May I present to you, the only building currently on your land. Leave it, demolish it, whatever you wish, it is yours. Tomorrow, I will come and show you the border of your territory but for now, everything that you can see is yours. Do what you will. If you need anything, Luna, please do not hesitate to call for me." He tells me."Everything ok
For the next week, I spend almost every spare moment that I have helping the witches create a new house for themselves. The great big dome that I created the first night turns into a commom area for all of them to share. Even most of the furniture is made from the earth.I also use this as an exercise to see which of the witches are strong in using the elements and if any need to work on them. There are a few that have a great eye for detail and are able to add details that I might not have thought of before. Some of the witches have just neglected training in the elements so they have a lot of work to do to catch up.If I am not there with the witches then Elle is. I still do not feel safe leaving them alone so one of us stays with them at all times. Elle also takes it upon herself to begin training some of the witches so that we have more hands to work on the place. Overall, by the end of the week, each witch has their own bedroom and bathroom, there is a kitchen and a joint dining
My world is crashing down as I watch Scarlett struggle to stay with us and her pup. Dante and Quin come rushing back when Dante notices my sudden change in mood. There is no more sugar coating what is going on as her blood continues to seep out of her while Elle tries to get the pup to shift back."I need you to help." Elle says sounding strained."What do you need me to do?" I ask with no hesitation."I need you to try to talk to the pup. It knows that you and it's mother are friends and even family so it might listen to you better. It is similar to plants so it does not quite understand the words completely. You will need to send pictures to get the point across." She tells me hurriedly.Alright, well here goes nothing. I send my awareness straight to her pup and am shocked to notice just how cute and furry the little one is. As it senses me there, I can feel that it is scared of what is going on. I send pictures of myself and Scarlett hanging out before I try to convince it of anyt
As we exit Scarlett's house I can feel the Moon Goddess smiling on what we accomplished today. Only this time, instead of smiling on me, she is smiling on Elle. If Elle had been capable of making a decision that would lead to saving a werewolf life before I was born then we would not be here right now. I peek over at Elle and see that she has a small smile on her face as we continue to make our way down the street to the pack house. I never would have thought that I would see this day when I first met her. She purposefully went to a werewolf's house with full intentions to be there just in case something went wrong and she was needed. The witch walking next to me is a far cry from the one that did not stand up for her son until it was too late."Would you like to join us for dinner tonight?" I ask her."No, that is alright. Thank you but I have been neglecting Julia for the passed week. It is about time I head there and spend some time talking to her. Besides, you have been so busy s
I ended up sleeping for over 24 hours before I finally woke back up. This was definitely not the plan. I hope that Scarlett does not think that I thought anything was more important than her and her new baby boy. In fact, that is going to be my first stop after I get up and get dressed. My rumbling stomach also reminds me that I have not eaten for over a day and should most likely get that out of the way before going to get my baby fix as well."I see that somebody is finally awake again. I had Elle come and check on you once. I was worried when you did not wake up." Dante tells me when I enter the kitchen in the morning."You called Elle over because I was sleeping?" I ask amused."Well, I have never seen you sleep that long. You did not even move most of the time. It was almost like you were in a coma. Elle promised that you were just exhausted. She suggested that you take some time off from training and using magic. Just a day or two." He adds in a hurry at my flustered expression.
