2022-04-07 10:00:50Even though I have known for a few days now that Scarlett and Quin will be leaving the pack for a while, it still catches me off guard when the time finally comes just a few days later. Even though with my classes that I teach and the witch lessons that I take, I am completely booked at all times, I still managed to take her shopping before she leaves.
As the closest relative still alive I take it upon myself to buy all kinds of baby items and gifts to decorate their new place. This way even when I am not there they can still think of me. Not knowing if the baby is a boy or girl really made shopping difficult but I somehow managed to find quite a few items that I would love to see for her child to grow up with.
Overall, we spent every spare moment together leading up to them heading out. I even went so far this morning as to help them pack up their truck. The feeling is bittersweet watching them get ready to leave but I am thrilled that their baby is going to be given

Morden struggles to fight me off but I caught her slightly off guard by landing on her the way that I did. She has a shield up that I have no idea how to get around but since she has not yet managed to regain her confidence I might have a chance of finding a way around it. While she had watched the fight out of the corner of her eyes she did not take the time to test for illusions. She failed to realize that we could have been tricking her this entire time. Elle was more than capable of helping me and we communicated this plan through another wolf as I ran here ahead of the others.My wolves never even came out of the woods to fight anyone. Julia seems to be sweet and meek when we finally get back to the club house. I try to keep her close to me since she was one of the witches that was attacking us before. Even though the pack is good at listening to my requests, I cannot imagine that they would be nice to her after what happened before. When I make it back to the pack house the pizza has finally arrived. I am so hungry after fighting the witches that I jump right into the line forming to grab slices and fill my plate. It is amazing how much pizza a bunch of wolves can put away.After I get my pizza I move to find a place to sit. The next morning I have to teach a class on self defense before heading over to my own lessons. Even though Scarlett is not able to do most of the lessons she is going to sit in on them and at least watch. Simonetta rushes towards me using wind to guide her speed. It is not enough to throw me off guard though and I shove a wall of dirt up in front of me. She almost crashes into it before she is able to skid to a stop at the last second. Each team splits up and gets ready to make their way through the obstacle course. They are all going to have to take turns trying to make it through safely. Each team has a designated amount of time before they get elminated. The one that makes it through the fastest and with the least amount of mistakes, will be the ones to win the competition. The course is very similar to the one that we did with the entire pack when we first started training. The one that really got the women moving faster as they fought to make good time through the course to beat the men. This one is just a little more geared towards children and not fully grown adults.Some of the obstacles are smaller to better accomodate their size, some things are closer together and they have even added some new obstacles that would have been difficult for the adults. It takes much longer than planned to get the babies ready for travel. I have never packed a diaper bag before but luckily Scarlett shows up to help me get them ready and squeal over the twins for a minute. The first night with the babies was quite a bit of a learning curve. Whenever we put them in their bassinets they just started to cry nonstop until we picked them up again. It took a couple of hours to find out that if we put them into the same bassinet they were able to sleep peacefully and not wake us up.
