Writer's POV

Samantha clutched the delicate material of her dress tightly as she made her way back to her room, slamming the door shut behind her.

"Damn it! She's the white wolf with the blood of a king? How could this be possible?" Samantha seethed with rage as she circled her room.

Samantha walked back and forth in her room. "If she's the one, then it's only a matter of time before she takes Rufus from me." This thought alone made Samantha burst into a fit of anger.

"No way! She can't take Rufus from me..."

Deep in the forest, there stood a massive castle. Inside the King's chamber of the castle, a man in a black and red King's robe lay on a large bed.

"Hmm," A wicked grin spread across Nireus' face as he settled on the bed.

Every corner of the room was adorned with candles.

Nireus' eyes narrowed as he watched the beautiful woman dance half-naked, her gaze making him feel a chill down his spine.

A low chuckle escaped Nireus' lips as he flicked his fingers, causing the candles t

Rufus's POV "How's she?" I asked Lillian as I noticed the other witches exiting the room. She was moving to the bed. "We managed to calm her down from expending any more energy, but her body is still hot." Mrs. Kate answered me, and I nodded. "Ummm.. I'll leave now." Lillian stated, and she exited my room, leaving me alone with my mate's mother and my mate. Mate? That's sound weird! *Weird? I fu*king love it.* Eclipse voice sounded at the back of my head. "I don't get it. If the marriage was fake, how could my daughter be your mate? I get the part about needing to hide your identity behind the hood, but discovering that my daughter is your mate today?" Mrs. Kate suddenly asked, and my attention, which was on Selena, immediately shifted to her. I paused before I swallowed, "I was cursed by the same witch who killed my parents. I can't sense my mate, but..." "The curse was lifted when my daughter released that energy!" Mrs. Kate finished the sentence, cutting me off, a

My body ached everywhere, and there was a relentless, intense pain in my head that pounded in my skull without ceasing.Every part of me felt like it was on fire, and I could sense a massive wave of magic surging through my veins."Selena dear," a voice I didn't recognized or couldn't place called out to me as a gentle hand brushed against me, "It's time to wake up," the voice repeated, sounding more urgent.Hesitating, I attempted to open my eyes, but as soon as another pain struck my skull, it was even more severe. The discomfort was growing, and I felt unsettled."Selena dear, wake up." The voice echoed once more, urging me to stand up.I groaned once more and, with all my might, managed to open my eyes. Everything was bright. So bright that I had to squint, yet I still couldn't see anything clearly. All I could perceive were faint voices, distant echoes, and some familiar whispers. These voices grew louder, making

Writer's POV Selena rested her head on Rufus's shoulder, both of them lost in their own thoughts, perhaps still trying to process everything that had happened. Meanwhile, Selena felt a lingering confusion about who were after her. "Are you awake?" Selena and Rufus turned to see Mrs. Kate standing at the door, a bowl in her hands. "Mother!" Selena called softly. "How are you feeling, dear?" Mrs. Kate asked as she entered the room, holding out the bowl. "This is for you. You have some injuries, especially on your chest. This medicine will help improve your blood circulation and heal you." Selena hesitated, meeting her mother's gentle gaze, which was so soothing that it felt impossible to refuse. "It's just medicine, Selena," she whispered to herself as she sat up to take the bowl. Mrs. Kate smiled warmly. "That's my girl. Just take the medicine, and you'll feel better in no time." The bitter taste of the medicine jolted Selena back to reality. After a couple of coughs, she ask

Rufus's POV As I was still going through some pack documents, when i received a mind-link that Selena's mother had already left the room. I set the papers down on the wooden table and stood up from my seat. I walked towards the door and went directly to the room where I had left Selena. In just few minute,, I was already at the entrance of the room. I reached for the doorknob, opening it right away. The moment Selena's seductive scent filled my nose, and I caught sight of her. I could hear Eclipse getting excited at the back of my head. Was this how the bond between mates worked? Selena was in front of the mirror, standing next to the dressing table in the room. Her lovely figure was draped in a blue silken robe, and her hair was damp, sticking to her face as droplets of water flowed down her body. Where was she going? I took a deep breath as Selena's eyes met mine in the reflection. She paused for a moment, her eyes locking with mine as I moved closer to her. I wrapped my ar

Writer's POV Lord Nireus was standing on a high stage surrounded by the clamoring crowd. His remarkable position allowed him to have a clear view on everything on the open arena. The sound of weapons colliding sounded routinely from before him, and the sound of steel tearing steel was definitely more satisfying to Lord Nireus ears than any fine instrument could be. This is the biggest field in Reds tribe. In the field, there are just two men battling each another. One of them is tall, wearing dark covering, and his swordsmanship is exceptionally powerful. The less flashy fighter facing him had no elaborate armor, just a simple layer of rust-resistant fabric that matched the color of the ground. The only decoration was a bright lion's head emblazoned on his chest. His sword skills were also significantly stronger! Surprisingly, he was nearly a head shorter than the man across from him, yet he managed to overpower his opponent with sheer strength! As the duel started

It’s only a matter of hours before Nireus and his men show up here," Issa said, locking eyes with Lillian. Both Lillian and Issa were trying hard to keep their feelings in check, but their eyes revealed a lot. "That’s not going to happen. There’s a barrier that keeps out anyone with bad intentions," Davies said, his teeth clenched. He hesitated for a moment, as if recalling something important.
