Amora's Point Of View
It takes a second to ruin someone's life and happiness. It was just unbelievable how one moment I was tremendously happy, living my fullest and smiling endlessly, then the next seconds, that happiness was snatched from my hands and I was left in the deep darkness of sadness with a pool of unending tears and wailing. I stood looking back at the house where my happiness had just been taken away from me and I couldn't control the endless tears streaming down my eyes. "Mom, where did you put the board? I can't find it," I shouted to her as I searched the storage. "Mom!" I yelled for her again as I didn't get a response the first time. I turned my ears towards their direction but nothing was coming forth. What the heck is going on? "Don't come out of the storage," I heard my mom say across my mind. "What?" I questioned her. "I am coming, just stay put," she added. Now, I was super confused, I sniffed the air but noticed that the blocking powder had been blown. We only use that when hunting to mask our smell and something tracks. The storage door suddenly opened and Mom was looking like she had just seen a ghost, panting terribly. "What the heck is happening…," I tried saying but she shushed me. "Baby girl, you have to do me a favor, okay? You have to stay here, quiet. Quiet! Without saying any word out, okay?" She said in a rush, constantly looking out the door. "What's going on? At least just let me in on what's happening, the atmosphere is tense and why is the powder used in the house? Do we have uninvited guests?" I asked non stop. "My love, this isn't the right time to be inquisitive. Keep your curiosity to yourself or you will end where you don't wish to be," she said to me. "What's wrong with wanting to know what's wrong?" I asked her, trying to hide my anger. "I'm sorry but I can't let you know anything," she said in a rush. She looked back again and turned to look at me with urgency. "Use this on yourself to hide your scent, I have to go back before they start looking for me. I don't want them to discover you," she said looking outside as she pushed the little tube into my hands and rushed out, securing the door. Who are they? I walked quietly towards the door but before getting to the door, it opened suddenly. I gasped but sighed immediately I noticed my mom. "I told you to stay put, didn't I?" She said angrily. "I was just worried about you, I don't…" I tried explaining to her but she suddenly grabbed the tube in my hand and poured the contents of the tube on me. "Don't worry about me, worry about yourself," she said lightly, caressing my face calmly. She pushed me lightly into the corner. "Sit here and be calm, wait for me or make yourself safe," she said to me before kissing me on the head and hugging me tightly. "Be safe and alive," she said before walking out of the room the second time, shutting the door close behind her back. I sat in silence while sniffing the air and trying to tune in on my parents. There were different scents in the air mixed with the powder and blood and tears and sweat. Were there dad and mom or the maids or our guards? They were struggling with their conversation with whosoever was terrifying them. I crawled out of my corner and moved to the door, slightly pushed the door a little bit. Instant regret filled me, my mom was mercilessly being held at the neck by a hefty thug, her legs dangling in the air. I could count five people, the one holding my Mom by the neck, three others standing around someone who I couldn't see well. Where is dad? I gasped when I recognized him, he was kneeling at the feet of a man who was seated on his favorite seat. I caught a scent coming towards me and looking forward, I saw a huge reddish brown wolf walking towards my direction, it had blood smudged around its mouth. I quickly shut the door quietly and crawled back to my space using a costume bear outfit to cover myself and waited for a while till the coast was clear before crawling out again. They were still talking indistinctly among themselves, with Mom and Dad pleading. Then suddenly the man seated held Dad by the neck, extracting his nails into his neck. I gasped and quickly held my mouth, sobbing into my palm. Mom briefly looked at my direction, our eyes caught each other, stayed for a while before turning away quietly. "...love you so much, sorry… sorry I failed you… but you mustn't fail yourself," I caught his message faintly before he slumped to the ground, dead and wide open. He was staring at me dead in the eyes. "Please…" I heard Mom's voice. "...I got blood on myself…" the voice breeze by my ear. That voice! Thud! Without realizing it, Mom's body also slumped to the ground, there was blood all over her face. I shivered in fear as I watched my Mom struggle with death. "We are sorry, baby! We are, and we love you. I love you, I am sorry our time together is cut short. You have to live, you must survive and escape this, you are the only one left. But please try and get this image out of your head, I am sorry…" she pleaded as I screamed internally. I placed my hand on the door knob and was about to run to my lifeless parents who were sleeping in a massive pool of their blood when the man stood up suddenly and looked me in the eyes. Oh shit! I remembered Mom's words, 'be safe and alive, you have to live, you must survive and escape this, you are the only one left, we love you.' I must survive! "Go get her!" I heard him say it loud and clear.Deven's Point Of ViewDistance noise kept making me uncomfortable in my bed as I kept tossing around. Why can't I have a peaceful sleep for once? I tried blocking out the noise from me so I can sleep but I haven't perfected my i-sensys, so I wasn't getting the technique.I will definitely disturb mom once I am fully awake to teach me how to block sounds and noise from myself so I can have what I want.I will definitely try to be more attentive when learning because I can definitely see that I need it. But now, the noise was becoming unusual and I was forced to get up from my sleeping conscious state."You can't go out," Julius said to me."Why?" I questioned him."It's dangerous! Your mom's kind are here!" He explained."Werewolves?" I asked, super excited. This was my moment to see other werewolves, and still mom refused to take me to her colony, I can see them here."Yes!" He replied simply."Then I need to go," I said to Julius."You can't go, like I said it's dangerous. Your mum's
Amora's Point Of View"Mom!" I kept yelling repeatedly."Hey!" Someone kept shaking me till I was fully conscious of my surroundings and who was holding me."Hey! It's me, you are safe! You are safe! He can't get you here, they can't," she said as she pulled me up from the bed and pulled me into a hug. Holding me tightly to her chest."It's fine, baby girl! You have me and I am here for you like always," she said consoling me. "You can cry all you want but I am here," she added. As I continued sobbing into her shoulder."He smirked harder than before," I said to her amidst my tears."Her face was fully black from the burnt," I added."He couldn't lift a finger after what was done to him," I continued ranting and sobbing."Why can't I get over it? It was more vivid like it happened two days ago," I said to her."It's okay, it is fine. This is the norm, you will only be shaken but you will be fine, like always, you know?" She said, patting me on the back."They don't look fine," I said
Amora's Point Of View"Table five! Then table six Amy, you are needed at table five opposite table eight. Move it, today is crowded. No sluggishness, please!" The supervisor in charge yelled at me.Can't I pee in peace again? This is the most stressful job I have ever come across on this app. Like what the heck is going on around here? Look how crowded it is, everyone is busy! 'Amy this''Amy that''Amy, table one!' 'Amy table four' when will Amy rest? Just when? I have been up since morning and I can't even take a pee in peace! If Amy can't rest, definitely Amora won't either. The description of this job didn't indicate that I will be moving up and down throughout my stay, all I simply thought was I would be staying behind a counter not walking around tables. I walked up to table five where a young lady I guess she's still a teenager. The dress hugged her body so tightly and I could see some discomfort on her face and more when the elderly man seated beside her wouldn't keep his h
Deven's Point Of View "I am so going to kill her! Oh my goodness! What am I going to do?" I screamed as I walked out of the bathroom for the umpteenth time."Urgh!" I groaned as I laid flat on my face on my bed."What the heck did she give me?" I questioned myself against my bed."Was I poisoned? She dare not!" I yelled as I got up immediately in shock. "What if she really poisoned me? What if she was sent by my rivals?" I said perambulating. "No!!!" I yelled."Sir! Is everything okay?" Someone asked me amidst my stress. I don't need this now."Who is that?" I struggled to ask as I turned to face whoever it was."Sir, Felix!" He answered."Ohh… you… how can… can I help you?" I groaned as I walked back to the bed."I heard you scream so I came to check upon you, sir! Is all well?" He asked fidgeting on his spot. What's wrong with him?"Are you the new guy?" I asked as I held my stomach, the movement was terrible. The loud low dull continuous noise and turning in every direction prod
Amora's Point Of View"How was work yesterday?" Gianna shouted immediately as she barged into my room."Hectic! Chaos! Chaotic! Illegal!" I mentioned as I mindlessly scroll through my phone."Wow! Give me a detailed gist of what happened!" She requested as she jumped on my neatly made bed."Ouch!" I cried out."What is that?" She asked. Doesn't she know what she just did?"Are you asking me that? Didn't you feel your foot hitting something?" I asked her, as I rubbed my thumb against my big toe."No! I don't… I didn't," she replied feigning innocence."Stop being a terrible liar!" I yelled at her. "You used your hardened foot to hit my tender big toe!" I explained, staring at her in the eyes and just as I expected, she started laughing."Who does that?" I complained, "aren't you supposed to apologize to me for being uncultured? Who jumps on someone else's bed when the person is seated in the middle, leg criss crossed? Like who does that?" I complained, she is just too mannerless and un
Deven's Point Of View"Sir?" I heard someone's voice in my room calling out to me."Sir!" Again. Oh, Jordan!"Sir?!" For the third time. Then there was a knock on the bathroom door. What the heck?"What do you want?" I yelled for him to hear me clearly."The meeting, sir!" He responded."Which is more important? My health or the meeting?" I asked him."Sir? I think both but in this very moment, the meeting sir," I heard him say."What?" I yelled before slamming the door into his face."Ouch!" He cried out."Are you crazy or what?" I asked him."Cancel the meeting and reschedule it to some other day so that I won't be unfortunate," I ordered before proceeding to my bed. I laid fully on my chest when I remembered something."On your way out, call me Felix!" I commanded him."But sir…" he struggled with his throat, "I… I… a… am… s… so… s… sorr… so… soor… sorry… si… r…" he struggled, he looked pale just from having his neck tightened from my mind. I released him and he wasn't told before
Amora's Point Of View"Hi! Why? I told him what I wanted! College girls need money more than you think!" I sang and danced as I stirred the eggs I was frying.I turned the fried scrambled eggs into a bowl and covered it. I proceeded to take another egg, two, before doing the necessary ritual and routines my eggs pass through in my hands."Gia!" I yelled from the kitchen."What? Don't you remember how to fry a egg again?" She yelled back from her room. She is far off, I'm safe."A egg?" I yelled."What?" She responded."What's a egg? Is that what you were taught in school, English class?" I asked, yelling loud enough so she could hear me clearly."I don't know, not like that will make the egg stop me from eating it," she responded.I added some bell pepper, crayfish, onions and some greens to my unscrambled eggs."This is perfect!" I uttered excitedly to myself. After transferring my egg to a plate, I added my bacon and hot dog to the pan."Aren't you done?" A voice startled me, I almo
Deven's Point Of View"Man! It's been thirty minutes plus since you promised to come check up on me and yet you aren't still here!" I yelled into the phone."Mr Deven, can you please calm down?" He said to me in a very calming tone which was getting on my nerves."I can't calm down! I can't! I am about to die here and you have the gut to tell me to calm down, I can't! Get yourself here, now!" I ordered but I know my ordering doesn't work on him."A dying man? You just have to calm down, I have got tons of patients waiting patiently for their turns to be attended to. I will be there when everything is under control here," he explained to me."Under control? When will that be? I am not under control here! And when you get here, there is a big possibility that nothing will be controllable, so get here now!" I yelled aggressively at him."Can you stop yelling? The phone is on speaker, you are scaring my patients!" He warned me."I won't stop until you get here!" I yelled again."Then I gu
