Tyler’s POV

A day passed, then two, and nothing happened, that made me doubt if anything was going to happen. But I couldn’t be all that dumb, she had said it herself that she was coming, her words registered in my head and it was all I thought about. Lina noticed my restlessness and addressed it multiple times.

“Seriously Tyler, you’re beginning to make me very worried, why are your eyes so alert and red? What are you even looking at?” She asked once, I had been staring out of the window in the evening, gazing at the sky and wondering what it held for me beyond. “Are you in some kind of trouble or danger? Is someone coming for you? Common talk to me.”

I stared at her, her large, beautiful eyes held genuine concern and slight panic. I couldn’t get her involved in my despicable past, what I needed to do was keep her safe instead.
