CHAPTER HUNDRED SEVENTY-SEVEN

Tyler’s POV

I didn’t know how I felt about meeting Roseline again, the woman who had slain one of the people I loved the most. She had put everything into that strike, it was me who was supposed to be split in half. I cringed as I stepped into the hallway, Roseline’s anger was dangerous and fierce and it had cost me in a very painful way. I got the feeling that it was just the beginning, but I didn’t tell Liam that, he would only laugh it off.

“You there, come over here,” I called a guard and he walked towards me and bowed. “Lead me to the dungeon.”

For a split second, there was hesitation in his eyes but then he walked in front of me and led me to the extreme end of the hallway. To the left, there was a metal door I had never seen before. He pushed it open and all I saw beyond was darkness, he lit a torch and we headed down stairs made of stone, not tiled like the rest of the house. It was like we were in a completely different place, the whole place was dark apart from the torch and
