It was a Sunday morning, Irvin had just woken up tangled in sheets with Zadkiel almost lying over his body. He looked outside the window because the morning felt different. It felt sombre.

He could see the dim light out there as if clouds were covering the sky because the clock on the night dresser was ticking at 10 am so, it was odd to be that dim at this time of the day.

“Baby…” He whispered, brushing Zadkiel’s hair. He could only see the top of his head as he was lying on top of him.

“Wake up, darling.” He spoke in a voice barely above a whisper and he wanted to wake him up but the way he was waking him up, it felt like he didn’t want to.

Zadkiel squirmed, mumbling something in his sleep before rolling off his mate and nuzzling his face in the side of his neck.

“Get up, little wolf.” He chuckled rubbing his naked back with his palms.

Zadkiel groaned and pulled away from Irvin trying his best to stay as far away from him as possible so he wouldn’t try to wake him up again but

Even though Irvin tried to convince him to stop, even begged him but Zadkiel was persistent in healing everyone so he could rest, knowing that no one would die just because he was being lazy.“Zadkiel, if you don’t stop right now, I’ll use my alpha tone. I’m very serious.” Irvin spoke sternly.A whimper left his mouth, hearing this but he couldn’t stop. He didn’t want to slack off and let people die but he understood that seeing his pack die was hurting Irvin as much as it was hurting him so, he decided to take a breath deciding not to add more to Irvin’s worries.“Thank god! You don’t even listen to me anymore!” Abel scoffed at him, glaring at him while Zadkiel rested his back against Irvin’s chest, closing his eyes. He could feel his body healing itself.“You’re a stubborn piece of shit! Do you know that?” Abel again spoke, still making him the target of his hard glare.“Shut up, please.” He answered in a tired voice, nuzzling his face in Irvin’s neck and inhaling his scent to

“Irvin…” Zadkiel called him, seeing him heaving.“Hmm?” He didn’t have enough strength to even answer properly.“Would you agree to one thing, if I ask?” He asked grabbing his hand and keeping it sandwiched between his own.“What is it?” Irvin stared at him with tired eyes. They all were resting against a tree.“I can… I can make you…” He took a pause thinking about how he should say it but then he had no time to think. With every passing second, his mate was dying and he couldn’t see that. He had to do something so he took a deep breath and said it out because he was running out of time and patience.“I can make you immortal.” He stared at Irvin’s face after saying that and tried to comprehend the expressions on Irvin’s face. There was a silence for a moment. He was dreading the answer and maybe he knew the answer as well but he had hope that maybe Irvin would try to understand the emotions he was going through at that moment. And it happened. The answer Zadkiel was dreading b

"She's still in there. Sitting still and chanting something I don't understand but she does." Julian informed him, pointing to Tia."She is struggling because this time, she is taking down two packs. Let's not forget that one of the packs had a Luna who was an angel and one has a Luna who is a hybrid. It's becoming difficult for her. And the fact that you keep healing people. It's taking longer and if this keeps happening, she'll lose all her energy and we can take her down." She spoke, looking at Zadkiel who sighed."But we can't let her keep casting the spell. Our packs are dying. We need to stop her." He said and just then the two wolves arrived. He could see that they were startled to see him there before them but he just winked at Irvin's wolf. He kneeled to give them their clothes but then understood that most of their stare was because he still had his wings open and he knew every time he opened his wings, it was enough to send people in an admiring trance. He packed them an

“You must be mistaken. She can’t die.” He chuckled but it was sad and kind of a shocking chuckle as he looked at Irvin to back him up but Irvin just stared at the ground beneath his feet, trying not to speak anything as he didn’t know what to say.“I just received Abel’s call. He informed me about it.” Aiden spoke.“Yeah, right! Abel would’ve called me instead of you. That’s how I know you’re lying.” He chuckled, resting his back against his mate’s chest. He was in denial and he didn’t look like he was going to be convinced any time soon.“Alright. Let’s head home.” Irvin pressed a hand on his lower back. He knew Zadkiel had to see for himself to actually accept the fact that his mother was no longer in this world.“Yeah sure.” He spoke in a whisper but before moving forward he turned to Aiden. “Never even think of joking about something like that to me.” He spoke furiously, glaring and pointing a finger at him.Aiden kept his mouth shut because he knew that Zadkiel was fighting

It took him a few minutes to figure out that he was lost but he still didn't give up. He continued to search. His mother said it was up there but all he could see was clouds. His eyes filled with tears when he couldn't find anything instead of clouds. His mother wasn't here to guide him anymore and he had no idea where to find this bloody heaven. He stopped searching and kept flapping his wings while looking around the skies. He needed guidance. He was just 20 years old which was too young for an angel to understand things. What's more shocking is that he was just 5 years old in heaven so, nobody should expect him to be successful on his first flight and not get lost.Few seconds of flapping and then he felt a gush of wind against his face. He closed his eyes momentary but when he opened them, a woman in a white silk gown that looked too beautiful to be ordinary, looked divine and young and freshening, was right before her eyes, flapping her wings.Angel."You seem lost." Zadkiel had returned two weeks ago from heaven and he was slowly recovering from the shock that he wouldn’t get to see his mother ever again because she was being tortured in hell.If it wasn’t for Irvin who kept peppering him with kisses and hugs now and then, he would’ve gone to a pit hole of guilt that he couldn’t do one thing for his mother. He was so shattered that even when they were burying Evangeline’s body he couldn’t help but cry more because burying the body of the dead symbolizes putting the dead to peaceful eternal sleep but he knew that where his mother was, it wasn’t a peaceful place at all.“You’re thinking about it again?” He heard Irvin’s voice that pulled him out of his thoughts to the reality.“What?” He tore his gaze away from the sky and looked at his mate.Irvin sat beside him on the sand and pulled him closer to him while resting his hand on his lower back. He walked through the familiar path and stopped by his father’s for a while just to listen to him talk about his mother ever so lovingly and he couldn’t feel better about it. What do you want me to call you?” He questioned, arching his eyebrow. When Zadkiel found out that Abel ended up in heaven, it wasn’t a surprise for him. He knew the man for his whole life and he knew there was not one day where he meant any harm for another person except for those who hurt Zadkiel.“Okay, whatever bu

Whenever he thought of it, he wished he had died with him too.He tried to stay with his family. He tried to be there for them but it didn’t matter. He couldn’t do it. He knew he could heal him. He just had to hold his hand and think about it but he was strictly told not to. "Irvin..." He sobbed, holding his hand and pulling his sleeping body over him with his other hand. He dipped down his head and placed a kiss on the top of his hair, lingering his lips there.Irvin fluttered his eyes open, very slowly. He was confused for a moment before he looked up at his sobbing mate."Why are you crying, Zadkiel?" He asked pulling away from him and sitting up, though it took a real effort from him to do so."What were you doing on the west of the border?" He wanted to ask but he knew the answer would be too painful for his mate to remember and way more painful for him to hear."I just love you so much. That's why." Zadkiel answered giving him a smile and wiping off his tears."Well, thank you." He replied, resting his back against the headboard because his back was hurting. Zadkiel put a pillow behind him to make it as comfortable and soft as he could."Look! A butterfly." Irvin lifted his hand that was shaking uncontrollably to the window behind him.Zadkie

"Dad, what are you doing here?" A black-haired man, with hazel green eyes, maturity dripping from his face, asked a white head man, wrinkly face and confused expressions."I'm sorry. He asked the old man, approaching him and helping him sit on the bench. The old man took almost five minutes to think with a confused face before answering "I don't know." He said looking up but then his confusion intensified as he stared at the face of the black-haired guy. "I'm sorry but who might be you, gentleman?" He asked politely unknown of the fact that whenever he said something like that, it hurt the other man so much. "Let's get you home." He spoke, standing up and helping the white-haired old man, keeping his touch and hold very gentle."Where is home?" The old man questioned but nonetheless followe

  • The creature inside me   The driving lesson

“This is the most difficult thing to do in the world,” Zadkiel screamed while trying to drive the car smoothly while Irvin sat beside him.Irvin finally decided to give Zadkiel those driving lessons he promised and that too in his favourite car that he rarely drove. But now it seemed like it wouldn’t be left in the condition to drive after these lessons.“No, you’re just panicking too much.” Irvin sighed.“I’m not. Get this thing to stop!” He whined. He was so done with these lessons. It was way too much for him to process. Even his angelic powers weren’t helping in this.Irvin face palmed himself, shaking his head before speaking. He couldn’t believe that Zadkiel was having a panic attack while driving Tesla which required low to none skills. For a person who had no idea how to drive, it was really very easy but Zadkiel made it seem like it was as hard as walking on water. Yeah right, he was making it seem like it was impossible. God forbid if it was any other model. He would’ve

His eyes flicked down to where their crotches were meeting and a gasp left his mouth when he saw that Zadkiel’s pants were also soaking.“Zadkiel…” He instantly sat up and lifted his chin to have a better look at him. “Baby, what’s going on?” He asked but Zadkiel gave no reply. His eyes remained shut and his breaths were laboured.
