CHAPTER 3(PRESENT TIME)

Time had passed and we reached our destination immediately,this place is known for its crowded spot as if it has a festival everyday but now it seems like a nightmere it was like all had turned black and white.I know this place as far as I could remember our school is just close by.

"Is this the right place?"Kulas asked confused as he looked around and trying to remembered something in detailed,but it was too far from the original set up.

"Yeah?maybe we're lost"Cardo also confused just like Kulas.

"I know this place and there is only one way to get out of here and we went there before"I assured them,even if I have doubted myself too It is difficult to go wrong in such situations.

Once we climbed towards the old building we were immediately greeted by a deafening silence and a pungent smell just like the other establisments old,the strong bad smell and blood stains everywhere that could have seen in bare eyes. 

"We're going there together don't even do anything that can makes us fall apart."Gavin seriously commanded us,we silently followed him.

"Gav,our ammunition is running low maybe later they will attack and we runs out of bullets,it is hard if we only carry those weapon that are uses to a close ones"I reminded him because it is true and I swear I started to trembled like what I have believed there is no such a person that are no fears.We all have our weaknesses and that is what I feared the most what if they will use my love ones against me?How can I fight and the exchange is their lives?.

“I know where we can have a new weapons at the Mayor's house he has a basement there and the weapon is also there"it was kulas who used to be the former driver of Mayor Luna.

"So he used the fund of this city to buy those weapons?"Cardo asked incredulously,yeah nobody knows what's in the mind of Luna is. He is selfish when the city was just starting to messed up and all he cares is only himself he flew somewhere where he could find safe but maybe this time all his money and power are all useless,people only think of their families and selves.

"Let's hurry,so that we can safely arrive whatever place is it."Gavin said seriously no one of us has the guts to response,silence means we agreed.

But not even a shadow as we reached here in this establishment Heark probably left here an ages ago I know he's the only one whom did everything here I felt sorry for him as he was the only one fighting.

"We're late, he's not here anymore"Gavin said worriedly and me too.

"I can determined base on their blood stains,he had killed them more than three hours ago I know he hasn't gone that far" Gavin continued while adjusting his AR57

We don't have the choice to stay longer here we need to find Heark as long as possible.And we walk again silently as we can.

It's already morning when we reach the mansion of the former Mayor in this city.

The 'red eyed city' was derived from the word red eyes' it means the eyes had the strange color and it's rare only Mayor Luna had that eye color I don't know exactly his history but I know there is something about his eyes.

"We are here"it leads by kulas we entered the large yard and went to a small door near the gardens,it seems so peaceful tho inspite of the situation we faced.

"Is there something like this before?"Cardo asked curiously as his eyes wandered around and observing every corner of it.

It wasn’t take long procees before we saw the door that had been engraved ‘luna’ and round moon as a symbol of it and it was all made of gold.

"Woah" I couldn’t believe what I was seen as I rolled my eyes at the weapons it was like my blood are turned out to be more alive than recently it was place systematically.

Gavin started to take what he likes, who's the person who wouldn't want to take these all? I swear this is my first time seeing these incredible view of mine,as I reach older I know how I much prefer.Instead I want these than other thing that I don't even have desires on it.

Almost all kinds of daggers I’ve picked up. The fairbairn it was famous during the second World War,an AEK-971 with a 5.45 × 39mm cartridge,neddle point,pen,straight back Dagger knife.I tucked it in my thigh,I also took an army gear and braided my long brown hair while I also wear combat shoes.They also have an automatic rifle.

While Gavin took Machine Guns such as bren machine gun,hotchkiss machine gun and MG42 Mag machine gun.

Just like Cardo also picked the outstanding Schwarzlose machine gun, an AK-47 and tanto point a dagger class.

Kulas took the assault rifle, a 6-inch stainless steel blade Ontario MK-3 Navy Knife and ammunition.

"Woahh khez babes you look beautiful and at the same time you're scary"He's laughing at me after he said it to me afterwards he place it carefully.

"so I won't bother you anymore"he added and turn to our busy companion.

"I can't believe that Cardo from Gardener to Ninja?"

Ninja really? Is he serious this time and it makes me laugh secretly.

"Hey,how do I look like?"Gavin asked me too he's not bad at all.

"Yes, you look like a syndicate"

I answered him seriously,which makes him more annoyed. 

"Let's find something to eat first, we haven't eat since last night" Kardo said authoritative,I wonder if he had a family and where they are now.

"I don't seem to recognize this place based on looks."Kulas's eyes wandered in disbelief it was such a total messed up.

"Me too"I said softly.

We're here in just one city so basically it's all the same about the looks and the order it was all black and white.

I can't stop thinking about the situations that Gavin possibly had.

I can’t help but ask myself if he has eaten yet? Is he okay? Where is he now and if he is in a safe place otherwise it is also possible that he is dead,But I trust him he was the first person to save me before it happened.

"Wasn't it a pharmacy before?"Gavin asked

"Yes"I simply answered him after I was drowned in my own thoughts.

"How come we don't have a key or anything that we can use to open this" Kulas said and make body actions too. 

Maybe his hobby

"I'll take care of it,I'm used to this" I proudly said and immediately pulled out my hairpin above my hair and soon I opened it in effortlessly.

I'm new to this place the white paint is very bright only now I have seen this color that is not covered by blood.

I immediately picked up the mineral bottled water,medicines and flashlight. We took everything that can help us and can save us from our opponents.

"there's someone outside!"Gavin shouted weakly but very loudly at us

"Didn't you close the door?" I asked them confusedly.

"Just stay here I'll see what's there"kulas said and went outside.

We were just as shocked when we heard gunshots coming from there, I knew immediately that the opponents were already here to kill us.

"RUN AWAY! GO TO THE OTHER DOOR!" we heard Kulas shouting while he still keep firing his gun towards to them.

"We can't, we can't just leave it like that."it was kardo.

"I know so let's get hurry and follow after him"I was about to walk out when Gavin suddenly pulled me tightly I couldn’t read what and why he had to pulled me back inside,I couldn’t read the expression on his face.

"Why! Why did you drag me back here? Are you crazy? Kulas needs our help Gavin!"I shouted at him but he just shook his head as if it was okay for us to leave him there alone and save ourselves.

"Khez listen you need-"

"No,not Gavin! I don't have to listen to you because nothing can stop me from following kulas and helping him, What explanation do you want me to explain it to you That should-"

"KHEZ LISTEN AND LET ME EXPLAIN I haven't even finished explaining yet,and you had spoke up what I want to happen is let's get out of here"he replied angrily to me.

"Are you crazy Gavin? If you want to go out you can run away ,if you still want to live totally on your own just go ahead I'm just nothing if I leave here because I'd rather die if I help nothing,I'd rather die fighting than to die of my own free will!" I replied on him with heavy heart,My tears rolled down in my cheeks as I said it.

During the time that we were together It seems like it's easy to leave the people who have been a part of your life.

"Khez In these times when someone sacrifices his life for us, all need is to accept and obey,how do they felt when you refused, this is our last chance Because at these times only ourselves is our ally" 

And I let him hold my wraist and dragged me out,I can't waste my energy for nothing.

I haven't spoke up after that scene, I haven't tried to argue in such situations like this I feel so heavy

It's like I just want to lie down and sleep

I want to live normally so that no one can will blamed inside of me, that no one will sacrifice for me because I can't accept the hardship.

Sometimes I question my self I keep asking why would I? Why would it necessarry to harm them all. Why it is me all the way since back then

Why does it seem so easy for them to do things that will hurt me so much? 

Can I still handle it? How long and how far can I go? ...

Can I sacrifice?

Will I also sacrifice for the person I love?
