Chapter 4

Present time

Heark who is relentlessly fighting to find Khez the only thing on his mind is to find and be with khez safely again.

There was a memory that flashes through his mind and that was the day when it was all normal,the day when he met Khez. 

The place is wide and big so they probably won't make it.

Everything can be seen in his movements that he was so exhausted but he only did all this is just for Khez just to find Khez. His body was full of deep wounds as he fought back to kill them all off.

"Where did you put Khez on?" He asked nowhere in the midst of their fight but the truth is he knew they would not speak up back to him, it doesn't response to anyone except in their mastermind and he knew that it was being controlled by the masterminds, seeing his foes like these makes him more inspired to find Khez as soon as possible.

"Khez, I am just here.."He cried again in emptiness whether he wants to rest and give up but he can't, he is wondering if he can find Khez maybe in no time he will give up but he repeatedly said that he will soon find Khez that was in his mind and the truth is his last hope is Khez alone.

Only brains, flesh and blood can be seen in Heark's body he got it from those he killed he seemed to look dead in his appearance Regardless of the situation he couldn't spares a day just to rest,he continued even if without food only water that gives him a little fuel to his body.

If he takes too long to find food, his body may automatically give up.

But in not far away, Gavin, Kulas and Khez were there and they both fighting out of their lives.

Happenings in my life right now is nowhere to put back instead of holding a pen I hold Guns instead. These unreal monsters who surrounds me are only appears in my dreams but I think I myself was also in my dreams alone.

I positioned myself, and started firing them using my AEK-971it has knife in it.

I loved action movies eversinced like how I wish I was once the protagonist of those movies maybe deities granted my wish

It's kinda fun I like it.

"Die!" I shout out of my lungs when I killed them one by one.

"How do you keep that position khez,its looks cool on you" he grin.

He turned his back on my back we are now unseparated as we're rear.

We fired them one by one.

"Shut up Gav if you don't want me to kill you, you better do your job right" I seriously threatened him but it just didn't seem a death threat it was a joke for him.

"What are you going to do?" He asked me mischievously.

"Do you want us to try just update me how guns feels be like" 

"This isn't funny anymore c'mon I was just kidding" he laugh as he raised her two hands up it was a sign of surrender.

Good to him.

This scene looks like 'the walking dead' on a movies I like that one.

"Ah you are an animal" Cardo shrieked, he stabbed them again and again. Regardless of Cardo's age it doesn't matter anyways the blood gushed anywhere as he is having a hard time because he can no longer pull out the knife he used, he just tramples on it.

Eww so gross! 

We were running out of ammunition so all we did was stab them one by one and again and again until they break into pieces. Their bodies were already decayed so it was too difficult to kill them the fact that they are already dead how can we kill them when they are dead but the thing is they're alive through their controlled minds only their minds alive but it was already owned by someone who still unknown and anonymous to us.

I dashed over to an elderly lady with a scaly face and worms all over her body, as a black liquid continued to drip from her lips I preceded her even before she could come near to me it's hard to precede because life is a game where in you either lose or win. 

So when I have the change to do the right thing I grabbed it confidently I don't want to regret it in my whole life.

"You're such a filthy bitch!" I screamed as I stabbed the elderly lady It feels so good when I cut her off even a decapitated head might move just like the haystack's tail was cut off, he resembled as a lizard.

"Hey Khez,how are you over there?" Gavin calls me so I turned my side to him

"I'm still beautiful Gav" I laughed in response to him I was just kidding but it's true that I'm beautiful as my mother always told me.

"Oh where is Cardo?" I asked Gavin curiousity but he didn't notice.

We focused too much to the point that we forgot about each other’s presence. 

Surprisingly a while ago I was worried he might killed them all in one slash but today he seemed more calm. 

"Gavin are you sure you didn't saw Cardo I haven't saw him a while ago" I asked him the same questions as I asked because I'm dying worried I don't want to loss another comrade again, Mark is more than enough his loss is my greatest pain I have ever met in this year it caused a huge hole a void in my heart that I couldn't figure out how I will overcome all of these.

"No I was busy lately" he said seriously so I was convinced by him he didn't even laid an inch on me he still continued to wipe his blade that is full of blood stains and human flesh.

I just stared at him and I couldn't figure out why there was sometimes I pitied Gav but not like now I dont have symphaty towards him I don't see Gavin inside him either maybe I was driven away by my emotions that was I myself wasn't unable to recognize what I felt today am I happy or worried maybe I was lost.

"Let's go we will find them no matter what" I said softly and sadly I want to pretend again.

"Whom you mean to find is it Heark right?" He asked me seriously I felt the sadness in his words I can't figure it out if he's sad in this situation or maybe he's sad because what I'm looking for not anyone but only Heark?

"Yes, and the others I just wish Cardo and Kulas were still alive until now" I replied sadly while put my bags back on my shoulder.

"I really hope so" He cut me off.

We have already started walking and looking for safety places tonight

It's getting dark the sun set so quick and unlucky we can't check the time now we don't have anything I think it's about 6pm now.

The air was cold at night but we were still in endless darkness this is what they called deja vú we repeating where we was came from.

"Let's stop here it looks like we're safe here" as the sight circled the whole place It was like a cafè it was closed so we had to open it but what was even more annoying when the keys are inside.

"Looks like there's someone inside Gav" I

said while pushing the front door 

"Let's work together to open it"

"Go to the back door first Gav maybe we can find some other way" while I was still busy pushing the door to make it open It's just weird because there's a part of me that hopes there is someone inside and we will be save but it's impossible.

I was like that for a few minutes, it immediately open and I have no doubt went inside actually it was Gavin who opened me yes he found a way It was very dark inside all the lights could not be turned on everything was broken there was a table scattered and it was all broken the whole places was chaos.

"Let's find a place to rest first" Gavin suggested weakly to me I just nodded to him in agreement I have no energy to disagreed with him.

I walked around as I rolled my eyes until I stumbled over I step on something!

What is this it's looks like not a thing but a person a human being

It was a dead person!

I immediately turned around and stood up to see what it was I stepped on I didn't turn on my flashlight right away because it was the moon who lights up the half average of the cafe yes the other parts of the café were illuminated by the full moon.

I was so shocked when I confirmed what it was, but not what is it but who is it? I covered my mouth when I realized it was a human. An unconscious person with many deep wounds I didn't move him right away maybe because he's an opponent he looks almost the same as the red eyed dead, his situation doesn't gone too far but because of my stubbornness I immediately touch it and the flashlight I was carrying fell down as I saw the figures in my front my whole body started to shaking and my throat dry immediately tears quickly rolled down in my eyes when I saw exactly who it is.

"Heark.."
