Raleigh’s POV

I opened the door and stepped into our house. It was quiet, just like I wanted. I didn’t want to see anyone right now. I didn’t even want to talk to Mo. I just needed to be alone. I closed the door softly, as if any sound might break me more. My heart was already feeling heavy.

Today was rough. Really rough. Everything felt like it was falling apart. My job was on the line, and I didn’t know what to do. I had worked so hard, day after day, hoping I could build something good for myself. But now, it felt like it didn’t matter. All because of Logan. He wouldn’t give me the interview I needed. It wasn’t fair. He had the power to help me, but he was being mean. He didn’t care about my job or what it meant to me. To him, I was just another person he could ignore.
