At first, Ye Shaotang did not think much, but when he saw Xu Yi’s gaze moving downwards, he burst out with rage. “Xu Yi, how can you be so shameless? You’re the second miss of the Xu Family. Is this how a second miss should behave?”

Xu Yi shrugged and laughed gleefully. “Where did this second miss come from? Don’t you know? Plus, I was just analyzing the whole situation for you, Young Master Ye. Why? Does Young Master Ye not have the courage to face the truth? Since when did the high and mighty Young Master Ye become so fearful?”

Ye Shaotang took in a deep breath and looked at Xu Yi with heated eyes. “What do you want?”

Xu Yi got up and walked over to the huge bed. She patted the bed frivolously and said complacently, “What do I want? Aren’t Young Master Ye clear? It’s so simple. I want to sleep on the bed!”

“No way!” Ye Shaotang rejected without even thinking. “I will not sleep on the couch. Stop being delusional, Xu Yi.”

Xu Yi squinted her eyes like a little fox. “Young Master Ye have misunderstood. I don’t have the nerves to banish you to sleep on the couch. What I meant was, I can sleep here with Young Master Ye. This bed is big enough, and we have enough bedclothes. We can share this bed, and each of us can have a blanket.”

Ye Shaotang smirked, “Xu Yi, you’re forcing me to sleep in the same bed as you so that you can force me to comply and then successfully have my child. But, do you really think that this stupid tactic can make me pay more attention to you?”

Xu Yi backed away as if she had just heard the biggest joke in the world. She looked at Ye Shaotang like he was a retard and shook her head. “Ye Shaotang, you're not sick, are you? Do you have persecutory delusions? Do you think someone who banishes his wife to sleep on the couch has enough energy to maintain a healthy husband and wife relationship?"

Xu Yi patted Ye Shaotang’s shoulder sympathetically and said in a tone like somebody that has gone through it all, “Young man, you’re still young, and you have money. If you’re not afraid of losing your face, you can go find a doctor, give them some money and then cure your illness. Also, there are a lot of different pills on the market. Just take whichever you want, and you’ll…”

“Xu Yi! I know you’re shameless, but I did not know you’re this shameless! What the hell do you want?” Ye Shaotang was almost driven insane by Xu Yi. Who knew that Xu Yi’s personality would change after being sick. It was like she was a whole new person.

Xu Yi curled her lips into a satisfied smirk. She crossed her arms while smiling widely. “Aiya, Young Master Ye, don’t be angry. I just don’t want to sleep on the couch. I want to sleep on the bed. But you don’t have to worry about me pouncing on you in the middle of the night since I’m not concerned about you transforming into a wolf. Plus…”

Xu Yi laughed sinisterly and added, “Under normal circumstances, Young Master Ye could not do anything without medication. It’s best not to take those pills too much, it’ll cause a lot of harm to your body.”

“Xu Yi, that’s enough!”

Ye Shaotang could not take it anymore. It was as if he was about to shoot fire out of his eyes. He said to Xu Yi coldly, “Alright, I’ll share half of the bed with you. I’m agreeing to this. What is the next condition? I’m warning you, Xu Yi. Stop suspecting about my ability in that field. If you still are, I don’t mind showing you what a real man is like.”
