-Cain-

Henry was now living with us, yet when it grew very late, I told him to go eat and rest. It wouldn’t work trying to train me all night anyway, and I could see from how Willow was yawning that we were just going around in circles, and we were all exhausted. While I had improved my speech a bit, it was definitely going to take some practice before it became really good. I was still a bit unsure why I did all of this as I went to sit in front of Willow. However, as I sat down, I noticed the smile on her lips, and just seeing that made the whole training session worth it.

“You have never had to charm the women you slept with?” she suddenly asked me.

“Henry is right. It wasn’t charm that led them to me. Sometimes I barely had to speak.”

Willow shook her head and sighed.

“Jealous?” I teased her, making her look annoyed at me.

"No, I just thought about how easy things came to you,” she told me.

“You’re right. They did come easy, but things are different now.”

“I am seeing it a

-Willow- As I woke in the morning, I felt an interesting stretch between my legs. Cain had not stopped after the first round and filled me into my back again before he took me two more times. Only because I couldn’t handle anymore, he let me clean up and rest, and once again I found myself completely enveloped by his arms, unable to go anywhere. This time I felt better about it because of how we had spent last night. I couldn’t say I had completely forgiven him, but he had proven himself a lot yesterday, and my need for him had suddenly grown to new heights. It was harder to fight when he behaved like a proper person. No tricks, no games; simply working hard on proving him worthy. Maybe I had been quick to judge. Maybe Cain had changed completely. I knew I was definitely going to find out now that we lived together. I glanced over my shoulder, seeing him sleeping behind me. I smiled a little, then tried to slide out of bed to get ready, but Cain’s arm tightened around me. “I thought

-Cain- I knew I shouldn’t snoop, but I felt my mate shut off inside my head, and her behavior was so very odd. I needed to know what bothered her, and so I took her computer and opened it. She didn’t even have a password, and I easily logged into a Messenger chat, seeing Eva had sent my mate an article. I opened it, only to sigh deeply and lean back in my sweat. “What?” Henry asked. “Just my brother using his new-found freedom to… have fun,” I whispered before flipping the computer to Henry, who studied the article where pictures of my brother surrounded by women were. There were some as well where he was alone with them, coming out of restaurants or appearing at parties with them. Carter certainly didn’t seem to be crying many tears over this broken engagement. He had seemed so mad at me, and yet he goes and does this, making my mate very upset because it rendered their time together meaningless. I knew Carter might as well simply drown himself in sex to forget how his brother took

-Cain- I turned, seeing my father coming closer to me, dressed in a suit and looking as royal as ever, yet as he stood in front of me, he heard the voices and music coming from down the hallway I had just left. I sighed, looking away, and when I turned to look at my father, I could see he wasn’t particularly happy either. “Seems like the roles changed,” he tried joking, but neither of us were laughing. “How is she?” “Upset. The partying has reached her ears,” I told him. My father shook his head, rubbing his eyes, before focusing on me. “He just needs to get it out of his system.” I hated how people could make excuses for Carter so easily, but that was how it had always been. His charm blinded people, making them unable to see anything else. “I will keep the articles away from her,” I informed him. “Good idea,” he said. “How are things out there?” “Fine at the moment. We are settling in.” “Any signs?” “Of?” “Her being pregnant?” he asked. I shook my head. I understood why i

  • The Wrong Alpha Twin   Chapter 29

-Willow- “You need to eat,” Cain insisted, pushing the plate of breakfast toward me. I hadn’t left the bed for a whole day, and food had been brought to me, but when Cain came back from the office, seeing I had eaten nothing all day, he was determined the next day to ensure I ate. So, he had taken me to the dining room, with only Henry with us as he urged me to eat. I just pressed my eyes together, turning away. “Willow, don’t make me force this in you,” he sighed. I remained quiet, and Cain groaned, not liking that I wasn’t eating. I noticed him turn to Henry for advice, but he shrugged, sipping his coffee. Cain then turned to me, pulling out my chair. I let him, not having the strength to fight him. He pushed out his own, then grabbed me and pulled me onto his lap. Again, I let him, not fighting at all. He held me close to his warm body, and for the first time, that was all I craved. Just his alpha scent and warm body, and so I buried my nose in the crook of his neck as I held o

  • The Wrong Alpha Twin   Chapter 30

-Cain- My mate was starving for me. She was starving for me to take away the pain inside her and replace it with something better. So for three days, every time she had me close, she begged me to fuck her. Not always with words. Sometimes she would come crawling to me naked as I entered the room, or she would simply push the covers away and spread her legs. She didn’t venture far from our room, and only because I struck a deal with her that I would fuck her if she ate did she eat. I couldn’t lie and say I didn’t enjoy how much my mate craved me, but I knew now was not the time to lose focus, and I couldn’t not be her medicine. I was a temporary solution, not the cure, but it was hard to say stop when the grip her pussy had me in was more pleasurable than anything I could imagine. On the third day, in the evening, I literally fucked her to sleep. She lay under me, still knotted to me, a smile on her face as she rested, and I buried my nose in her neck, inhaling her sweet strawberry sc

  • The Wrong Alpha Twin   Chapter 31

-Cain-Willow joined Henry and me later in the day, yet there was an interesting expression on her face. I was just happy she had left the bed and the room and had finally decided to get up and do something. Not that I didn’t enjoy spending our time together in bed, up against the wall, or with her face down on the couch. I definitely enjoyed how much my mate needed me, but I didn’t want her to lock herself away because of my brother’s choice to fuck around.“How are you feeling, Luna?” Henry asked, making Willow give him a small smile.“Better,” she admitted, then her eyes met mine, and she blushed like crazy before hiding behind a document. How can she look so adorable? my wolf panted in my head. Tell Henry to go, and then dive underneath that skirt and eat her pussy until she screams our name.Goddess, you’re never horny, are you? I teased my wolf. But she looks so good! And she is carrying our pup! Take her.I ignored my wolf, instead settling for watching my beautiful mate, who c

  • The Wrong Alpha Twin   Chapter 32

-Willow- Hearing Cain speak about how he knew how to kill and that very few ever believed in him hit me deeply. I had never realized how much he actually craved someone believing in him, even when he probably thought he didn’t. To me, it seemed like Cain had been lost for a good while, but now he was given this amazing opportunity, and it was clear he was starting to believe in himself as well. He grew more confident with each question, and while I couldn’t deny that Henry still did exceptionally well, I was really proud of Cain for trying so hard. He didn’t have long before the interview, and so there was a lot for us to go over. He couldn’t seem too afraid, or the council would notice he wasn’t as confident as a future king should be. He had to seem completely sure of himself. “Okay, last question,” I said, clicking the top part of my pen, feeling more and more excited. “Another?” Cain exclaimed tiredly. “It’s just one.” “Yes, but we have been doing this all day. I would rather

  • The Wrong Alpha Twin   Chapter 33

-Cain-Willow lay beside me later in the night, sleeping soundly. I couldn’t help but rest my hand on her flat stomach, feeling the power slowly turning stronger within her. I knew there wasn’t really a presence to feel yet. What I was catching onto was the extra spike of power now taking place inside Willow, but I knew our child would soon be able to make themselves noticed. Werewolf children could feel their parents even as they grew in the womb, and I knew it was important for our kid to feel me and grow comfortable with me. They were already attached to Willow, so I had to let them know I was not a threat to them or their mother, but I would always put the two of them first. They were now my highest priority, and I smiled as I watched Willow, feeling my heart act in a way it had never done before. What was this strange fluttering?Could it be that you’re falling for our mate? my wolf asked me as if I were a complete idiot for not realizing what it meant to fall for someone, but I

  • The Wrong Alpha Twin   Bonus Chapter

Want to learn what happened with Carter and his mate Sara at the party? -Carter- My heart froze as we stared into each other’s eyes. Hers were such a deep green, and I loved them from the moment I saw them. She gave me a nervous smile, clearly trying to ignore the message our wolves were giving us in our heads, and sped off with the glass on her tray. I kept looking after her, feeling an undeniable urge to follow her. “Carter!” my brother called, and I turned my head. “Huh?” I answered. “Come on, it’s us next,” Cain told me. “Um, yeah, just say hello from me,” I replied before taking off, hearing him call after me, but I couldn’t stop now. Every nerve in my body was vibrating, telling me to go find my mate. I had seen the way she had gone, leaving the ballroom, and as I came into the hallway, it was much easier to follow her scent. I found her in the kitchen, getting more glasses for the party, and hearing the servants work. I made sure not to enter and instead crept back a litt

  • The Wrong Alpha Twin   Epilogue

-Cain- I watched Weston hold one of my daughters over his head, making a funny face at her and making her laugh. It brought warmth to my heart watching it all happen, yet it was hard to shake the worry seeing my mother so close to my other daughter, whom I had reluctantly allowed her to hold. My daughters were only over a year old, but Carter had lived in this house for a good while now with his own mate, who had just given birth to a son, and it seemed to be okay. Surprisingly enough, everything was going okay, but I was never allowing my mother to be alone with my children, which I had made very clear to Willow. Yet it was hard to resist her when she told me to give it all a chance—to give my mother one. I couldn’t forgive her, but I saw now the benefits of letting her close because she was different. As I truly looked at her with my daughter, I saw she was different because she was allowed to be happy. Therefore, I knew I had to try, at least because I knew better than anyone wha

  • The Wrong Alpha Twin   Chapter 88

-Willow- It was rather surprising how fast everything happened, and soon the queen was confided in the palace, confided to the section where her room was, and confided to the lower floor of that section. She had to have her meals brought, but this gave her a chance to be with Weston, and I saw how grateful he was for that. He even hugged Carter so hard, who was there to see the transfer happen, but Cain refused. Weston understood that, and so did his mate, but I could see how much they wished for Cain to be more accepting of all of this as well. For now, this was how it was going to be, and Carter and I walked together through the palace, both having homes to get back to. “So, do I ever get to be properly introduced to your mate?” I teased. “I have actually convinced her to move here with me. She is just nervous because we come from two different worlds.” “I can understand that. But then maybe we should all have dinner together.” “I am not sure we can lure Cain here. He is… determ

  • The Wrong Alpha Twin   Chapter 87

-Willow- The news spread quickly and was as shocking to me as it was to everyone else. No one had expected the queen would go so far, and yet as the days dragged on, no one was sure how to punish the queen. The council and the princes were completely divided, and I couldn’t help but feel a bit bad. Now that I knew there was no longer any threat out there to me or my family and the mystery had been solved, I simply stopped being angry. I knew the queen should still be punished, but she wouldn’t have done what she did if she hadn’t been forced to smile and nod through the pain others had put her through. Weston had made a good point to me, I could have been the queen. I could have become just as desperate… “It’s really unbelievable she did it,” Eva said, breaking me free of my trance. She sat in front of me in a small café we had agreed to meet at so I could get out of the house. Cain and I rarely spoke at the moment, and Carter had gone to be with his mate, living with her, though I

  • The Wrong Alpha Twin   Chapter 86

-Cain- I was so confused by why Weston had asked to be alone with us. He even asked us to stand up, and we all met in a small circle beside the table. Carter and I looked at him with a puzzled expression, but I could sense something strange on Willow’s end, yet besides her, only Weston didn’t appear perplexed by all of this. Even our mother seemed unsure about what was going on. “Why did you send them all out?” Carter asked, speaking the question that lingered on my tongue. “Because I wanted to do this in private before…” Weston looked at Willow, and I glanced at her, but when she felt my eyes on her, she turned to give me an apologetic look. “Weston,” my mother called, and I noticed her turning slightly scared. “Okay, what is going on?” I asked, needing some answers now. “You have to admit it,” he insisted, focusing on my mother. “Admit what? Admit what, Mom?” I pressed, and both Carter and I focused on her, but she looked away, not meeting our eyes. “What the hell is going o

  • The Wrong Alpha Twin   Chapter 85

-Cain- “Goddess, look at your faces!” Willow exclaimed. “You’re starting to do serious damage!” As Carter and I sat down to eat, Willow came to inspect me, tilting my head to the side and taking in the cuts and the swelling. I grabbed her hands, kissed them, and then pulled her down on my lap. “We are fine,” I assured her. “We will heal,” Carter added. “Why are you hitting each other so hard?” “It’s called practice. We are keeping our skills sharp.” “But Carter can’t even open his right eye, and the cut on your lip is so swollen, I fear you can’t eat!” she scolded. “Eat the food or your—” I didn’t get to finish that sentence as she placed a hand over my mouth. “Not funny.” I pulled her hand down. “I think it was rather funny.” “What won’t the council think when they see you like that?” she murmured. “What do you mean?” She glanced between Carter and me, who looked puzzled at her. “You didn’t notice the meeting the council has called? Have you two been that distracted late

  • The Wrong Alpha Twin   Chapter 84

-Cain- “I don’t see the point in this,” my brother said as we stepped into the little gym we had in the house. I placed myself on the blue mat, jumping a little up and down and getting ready, yet Carter was standing at a distance, wearing sunglasses inside and a big hoodie over his training clothes that I had forced him to change into. He didn’t just look hungover, he was perfect for putting on a poster that advised people not to drink. He looked like a fucking mess. “You need it,” I told him. “Does it look like I want to workout right now?” he asked. “We are fighting and keeping our skills sharp,” I explained. “Why?” I didn’t really know what to say. What Willow had confessed to me scared the living shit out of me. Was my brother truly so depressed that he had become suicidal? Willow feared it, and we weren’t able to get Carter to react until the next day, and then we didn’t know what to say. So, I thought, after two days of leaving it alone, we needed to get him going again. Th
