Mate

Adriana in her wolf form was extremely faster than Jeremy during the race, everyone cheered her, some said, "She is a strong she-wolf, the first to have defeated other wolves in a race like this."

"I am happy we got a strong one for our pack."

"I think the moon goddess heard our prayers and I wish we can have more strong she-wolf like her."

"I love her wolf form, I wish the colour of my wolf can be like hers, I would have loved it."

"Me too."

"She won, she won." They all cheered.

After the race, Adriana spoke with her wolf, "That was a great run Whix."

"You can say that again, I am happy we won tonight and we should always keep on winning in any race," Whix responded in a happy tone.

"I need to have my bath right now, its almost time for my shift at work."

"It's okay now, I will need to rest a bit, take care for now." Her wolf form kept quiet.

"You were great out there." Jeremy's girlfriend complimented her.

"Thank you, Laura."

"Now you are in our pack, I hope we become friends, I like to be close to you, so what do you say?" Laura asked with a big smile on her face.

"Yes, I wish to be friends with you, I guess we got so many things in common to talk about."

"Sure, seems you need to get ready for work now, we talk in the morning when you are back."

"Tomorrow then." They waved at each other.

Other members in the pack were seen going to their respective places.

"You won me tonight, I never saw that coming," Jeremy said coming with his shirt on his shoulder and his broad chest made her lust for some minutes.

"I can not believe you are lusting after someone else's mate," Whix said to her.

"Shut up Whix, I wasn't okay, you got it all wrong, I just decided to admire his body built moreover he is my best friend."

"Get our mate, and let me rest please." Whix went silent again.

"Yes I won, don't ever underestimate a she-wolf." She said with a wink.

"I guess you are right," Jeremy replied as he fixed her hair.

"I guess you owe me a beer tonight."

"Oh I should never have forgotten about that, but please let's make it tomorrow, I promise to take Laura out on a date tonight."

"Okay no problem and let me guess, I will be the one covering for you at work." She frowned folding her arms.

"Oh come, not that face please, when you finally find your mate, you would understand."

"Please do not make me feel so bad about not having a mate besides I am not ready to have one for the now."

"I will act like I didn't hear what you said, have a good time at work."

"Just get lost."

I went to the room, taking off my clothes, I had a great bath, "Gilw Uhr lub yu." She tried some spells but it was not working.

"Oh damn it, my aunty should never have locked my powers, I need my powers back." She complained.

"Adriana can you let me have some quiet please, I am happy your aunt locked up to your powers, you are so careless, just imagine someone sees you practicing some spells, we are dead."

"That can't happen Whix, I am a powerful witch having a powerful wolf form, meaning no one can harm a hybrid."

"You are not prepared, just stop making a big deal out of it."

"Just stay silent, you are not helping me out here."

"Whatever!!."

Adriana frowned her face taking a jean pair of trousers and a blue top from the closet, over the night she finally belong to a new home.

After fitting into her outfit, she wore her black booth with her hair packed backwards as she got ready to leave the house heading to the bar for her shift.

About opening the door, she noticed her body was so excited same with Whix and her wolf from said out loud with Xavier wolf form, "Mate."

"Why are you dreaming of a mate?" She asked Whix.

"I am not, I can feel him here, our better half is here, search around."

"Yes I can feel it because we are both the same, but where is he?"

"You are such a useless wolf, can't you sniff him out?"

"Hey, don't talk to me in that manner."

"Red are you sure that lady over there is our mate?" Xavier said to Red.

"Xavier why are you so dumb, can't you smell her, her scent like Vanilla, you need to walk to her right now." Red insisted.

"Hell no, I can not do this, how do you expect me to approach her? It's difficult."

"What is there, walk to her, say something nice, then tell her you are her mate, it's that simple."

"No, I can't."

"Do you prefer I take control of your body and do it myself?"

"Okay fine, but for real, the lady is damn beautiful, thank you moon goddess for this." Xavier smiled looking above before finally taking a bold step.

"Oh my God, Whix, he is walking toward our direction, I think we should run, I can not stand it anymore, he is so handsome."

"You are so stupid to even think of running from such a cute mate the moon goddess destined for us." Whix voiced out angrily.

"But I am nervous, I just met you a few days ago and I am already meeting my mate, I do not think I can do this, it's so soon, I don't even know what to say to him."

"How do you interact with Jeremy? It's not hard okay, just let it flow, trust me, or do you want me to take over for you?" Whix asked.

"No, don't, this is a human talk here."

"Then get a grip of yourself please," Whix said out of annoyance.

"What if he doesn't like me?"

"A mate has no choice but to accept his mate," Whix responded to her question.

"If what you say is correct, why is he turning back?" Adriana asked when he noticed her newfound mate that was heading in her direction turned around.

"He did what? Well if he is shy to come to you then I would advise you to go to him, that"s fair enough." Whix advised.

"Hell no, a guy is supposed to walk to me and not the other way around."

"I can not do this Red, I am afraid I might make a fool of myself at her present, I think I need to go back home," Xavier said breathing so hard to Red.

"Xavier I can not believe this, how I wish the moon goddess could just separate us right now, now with your stupid actions, our mate is going to be thinking that you do not like her, you need to turn around and walk to her at once."

"You are a wolf and I am just a human, I have never approached a lady in this kind of heat I am feeling, she is our mate and I am scared of her response, I think it's best we just go back home."

"And then what? Let Collins and his mate continue to intermediate you? Don't you want everyone in the pack to feel all-powerful again, Xavier we always wished to find our mate, here she is standing there, we can't just let her slip through our fingers, you can do this."

"You are right Red, I am an alpha and I can do it, nothing is hard here." Xavier finally pulled himself together and walked boldly to where Adriana was standing.

"Hi." He said to her and with the blink of an eye, Adriana took off.

"You see, it's not that hard, now I can breathe again," Red said out of excitement.

"Red I told you this was a bad idea, now she ran off after I said hi," Xavier said out of frustration.

"Go after her, you know how ladies behave." Red assumed.

"I doubt if you even understand what is going on here, she running off means she doesn't like me, our mate does not want us, just the word hi and she took off."
