(Third Person POV)
"WHERE is the P-prince?" Mr.Smith asked over the phone.
Venom's eyebrows furrowed as he sensed something was wrong with the attendant's voice. It was audibly wary.
"He's with me. I saw him outside the hotel earlier," the beta answered and asked back in an arduous tone, "Why did you leave him unattended? You know there are motherfuckers who are after him."
"B-bring the prince to my resthouse. I'll... I'll send you the address," instead of responding to his concerns, Mr.Smith bade and promptly ended the call.
Venom's frown deepen as his suspicion got on another level. Mr.Smith seemed to have a hard time speaking like he was out of breath. There's a hint of discomfort in his tenor that he's almost squeaking.
"The hell is wrong with that old fart?" pressing his stiffed spine on his seat, Venom muttered and peered at the prince who was back to sleep.
With his head resting to the closed window, strands of his long locks fell to the front of his face.
Venom's hand twitched as he had the urge to fix the prince's hair but he held himself back. He's still pissed at the royal wolf's negligence.
If Venom did not arrive on time earlier, the killers might have slaughtered him already. The highness was not informed that his death would inflict chaos. If something happens to him while he's on the eastern continent, the west will not just sit back and watch. They will use their power to persecute the eastern territories.
On the other hand, Venom blamed Mr.Smith. It was the obsolete geezer who approached his brother to hire someone to protect and keep the prince from harm yet disregarded his duty as the prince's attendant.
Venom's jaw clenched. He fastened his eyes back to the front of the car when his phone vibrated. He checked the message and learned that Mr. Smith sent the address of his resthouse. It was at the border of Moon Bay and only a thirty-minute drive.
"What a bothersome man," Venom grunted and began speeding off. He thought of checking in a hotel on their way to Blood Moon to change clothes and rest a bit but the attendant's call changed his mind.
It's urgent to see him before hiding the prince in Blood Moon pack.

THE night was stale. All must have been in their deep slumber already yet Killian could hear the couple's dispute in the great hall of the palace.
He was used to listening to their frivolous altercations. They had been like that since the prince was a pup yet he could not understand why they were still not depleted. It was an endless feud it made him sick.
"Then why not end the anguish?" A cold voice asked Killian and the next thing he saw were lifeless bodies while he was standing in the middle of the bloodbath.
Of a sudden, the great hall was painted red. The bickering finally stopped which drew a faint smile on the side of the prince's mouth.
"See? I can make things easy for you," again the impish voice.
Killian's smile widened as he gazed at his reflection on the stream of blood on the brick floor. He saw himself and a familiar man behind him who had the same long black hair as him.
The man grinned at Killian and he grinned back.
'He' who did not unnerve the prince, as long as the noises cease, his identity is top-secret.
KILLIAN opened his eyes and focused on Venom Forcas who looked exhausted while driving. It's barely two hours when he met the Beta who said he's his appointed bodyguard.
To be honest, having a dog who would tail him every second is unnecessary.
What could a bunch of lousy assassins do to him?
He might look thin for a werewolf but he could wipe those worthless miscreants' existence if he wish to.
However, it would not be fun if he do that. He wanted to wait for the surprises hidden under the sleeves of the elders who sent him to the east to be revealed.
Would it entertain him? He'll find out.
Killian shifted on his seat snatching Venom's attention.
His bodyguard bestowed him a short glimpse and spoke in a flat tone, "Mr.Smith called. We're going to his resthouse."
Mr.Smith is Killian's eunuch but he's from the eastern territory. He had been serving him for more than ten years. It's a relief for the prince to know there's news about him.
"Is he alright," Killian asked.
Venom shrugged his shoulders. "We're to find out when we reach his place. By the way, do you want to change clothes first?"
Killian winced as he felt uneasy with his drenched garments. "My things are at the hotel. Should we head back?"
The beta snorted before he sarcastically retorted, "Who knows how many scraps are waiting for you at the hotel. I have spare clothes in the back seat. You can use them."
Killian beamed and his smile increased stretching his facial muscles. "How can you be so grumpy and at the same time generous?"
Venom pulled up to the side of the road and with a blank expression turned to him. "I am not generous. I'm only doing my job," he replied and grabbed for his extra garb.
The prince's regard lingered at the beta's face and had a quick assessment of his physical look.
Venom has short messy hair and a square-shaped face. He has thick eyebrows paired with deep-set hazel-colored eyes and a ski-slope nose. His lips are thin and seemed not used to smiling which gave him an unapproachable aura. Nonetheless, it's hard to deny he's one of the gorgeous male wolves existing in that realm.
As for his body...
Killian smirked. He better stopped there or he could be mistaken eye-raping his straight bodyguard.
"So?" Venom asked as he handed his clothes to the prince.
Killian bent his head to the left and asked back in his smooth voice, "So? What?"
The beta leaned closer and elucidated his query against his ear. "How do I look, your highness?"
(Third Person POV) SMITH'S resthouse came off to be an old ancestral house. If not for the new blue Audi at the parking lot, giving a sign that someone was inside, no one would dare to stop by the place in the middle of the night for the whole yard seemed haunted.Venom leaped out of the car first. He went to Killian's side and opened the door. His highness promptly but with elegance got off wearing his bodyguard's black hoodie and grey sweatpants. Using a pen he saw in the dashboard, he rolled his hair up in a bun with a few strands cascading to the side of his face.As Killian straightened his body, Venom realized his height almost reached his. He might be only two inches taller which is quite impressive for no one in Blood Moon is
(Third Person POV)REESE'S hand signal did not miss Venom's keen vigilance. His ears pricked, catching the synchronized sound of motions encircling them. Blocking any possibility of exits."Once I make an opening, you run," in a whisper, Venom told Killian before he veered to the side. Hoisting his balled fists up and separating his athletic legs, he made a potent defensive stance.Steadily, Killian sighed and stood still behind his bodyguard. The moment the assassins commence assault, it's going to be a big commotion yet he could feel the excitement rushed greater than apprehension in his veins. He already saw the second in command of Blood Moon combating earlier but he yearned for more. Not
DUE to stressed acceleration, Venom's car languished in handling the high level of friction resulting in a tire blowout. Gripping the steering wheel tightly whilst sensing the frantic jerking motion of the vehicle, he hastily pulled to the side of the narrow route to prevent further mishap. As the engine tardily ceased its remarkable feat, Venom released a pointed audible exhalation and uttered a muffled cuss. Blood Moon was just an hour and a half away, and if he only slowed down a little after Reese's men stopped hounding their tails, they'd be there in a few winks. In brisk succession, he turned his head left and right, lamenting his dereliction. Carelessness is a dreadful mistake for a bodyguard tasked with protecting a royal bloodline nonetheless, he procrastinated on evaluating his error for at that point, reaching Blood Moon quickly was critical.Venom swiveled around and faced Prince Killian, who was resting his head against the window and looking through h
THE dreary path grew bleaker for only a small portion of moonbeams passed through the thick branches of the ponderosa pines draping the entire niche. The crickets started chirping and the owl hooted audibly— enhancing the gloomy atmosphere yet there's no hint of apprehension in Venom Forcas' and Prince Killian's expressions as they were ambling their way to Blood Moon pack."Are we there yet, Forcas?" barely a twinkling later, the wolf prince asked.Venom's sluggish gait abruptly came to a halt when he heard Prince Killian's question. He exhaled sharply, struggling to keep the growl in his throat at bay. They'd been walking for over two hours, and the prince had been asking him the same question every five minutes, deliberately devouring his galled nerves.Venom wasn't sure if Prince Killian was deliberately inflaming his temper or if he simply couldn't shut his mouth for an hour."Annoying royal," he grunted inside of his head before he shook his head and proce
AN HOUR LATER, a worn-out simper flashed to the corners of Venom's lips as he passed into the Blood Moon wilderness while carrying the wolf prince on his back. For a brief moment, the whooshing sound produced by his quick movement and the friction of his jeans against the knee-length thickets sounded like a lullaby to his ears.A yawn threatened to escape his mouth, but he quickly suppressed it and accelerated even more. Venom couldn't wait to get back to his cabin and sleep for he was exhausted from the shitstorm that had occurred overnight, which had sapped all of his energy.Fighting a gang of assassins, dealing with Reese and his men, and dealing with the prince's eerie demeanor, reaching their pack free of mental illness and unscathed was far from what he had envisioned. As a result, Venom mentally shook his head.Perhaps an hour or two is all that is required for him to regenerate so that he can speak to his father about his resignation as the royal wolf p

VENOM was awakened by the birds' synchronized chirping and the crowing of the morning rooster. As soon as he opened his eyes, his body jerked up and his hands ruffled his short hair."Shit!" he muttered in a croaked voice and looked around his studio-style cabin. The sun had already risen, and its bright rays were filtering through his open windows. The door was slightly opened asserting that someone went out while he was in a slumber. His gaze darted to his mattress, which was covered with a crumpled bedsheet. Someone slept next to him, and the scents of apple, vanilla, and mint filled his nostrils as proof.A scowl tugged Venom's facial muscle as he smacked his forehead and grunted, "Damn it!" He had fallen asleep last night due to fatigue and had forgotten to join the pack warriors patrolling the borders. It was the first time he had neglected his responsibilities, and while he wanted to blame the prince for constantly bothering him, he should also repriman
AT THE NORTHERN PART OF THE BLOOD MOON, between Alpha Xavier's territory and the nearby pack, a group of suspicious shifters lurked behind the thick grasses. Observing the stringent security conducted by the pack warriors. The wary onlookers waited for a few minutes, hoping for a chance to sneak inside Blood Moon, but the odds were stacked against them. The guards showed no signs of slowing down even for a brief moment. As a result, they dispersed and returned to the small cave hidden in the deepest part of the wilderness, where their leader was waiting."Report," Reese, who was chomping on a piece of meat for his late dinner, ordered as soon as he heard hasty footfalls enter his faction's temporary hideout. His men immediately positioned themselves in front of his makeshift dining table and knelt on the arid floor."Negative, boss. Blood Moon pack warriors are heavily fortifying their borders." Reese hummed, his eyes fixed on the grubs
"WAIT, your highness!" Selena called out as Prince Killian took slow strides to search for his bodyguard.Taken aback, the prince came to a halt, spun around, and peered at the youngest Forcas who had left her unfinished meal. Dressed in a simple white t-shirt, pink above-the-knee shorts, and pink flat shoes, Selena flashed a toothy smile at him. "Did you forget your room is on the second floor?" She jogged up to him, her fiery red hair in ponytails bouncing on her shoulders. It's hard for Prince Killian to believe she's Xavier and Venom's sister for the three have such opposing personalities. The alpha is a reserved man. Venom is hypersensitive, whereas their youngest is a ball of sunshine. As a result, he mentally praised Moore Forcas and Tiana for doing an excellent job raising three fascinating shifters.Soon, Selena stopped in front of him and tilted her head up to look him straight in the eye. "So, are you lost or what?" she teased.Prince Killian ar
