(Third Person POV)
SMITH'S resthouse came off to be an old ancestral house. If not for the new blue Audi at the parking lot, giving a sign that someone was inside, no one would dare to stop by the place in the middle of the night for the whole yard seemed haunted.
Venom leaped out of the car first. He went to Killian's side and opened the door. His highness promptly but with elegance got off wearing his bodyguard's black hoodie and grey sweatpants. Using a pen he saw in the dashboard, he rolled his hair up in a bun with a few strands cascading to the side of his face.
As Killian straightened his body, Venom realized his height almost reached his. He might be only two inches taller which is quite impressive for no one in Blood Moon is as towering as him.
The prince lifted his gaze up and under the faint hue of the moon, the pair of emerald green locked with the caramels. Killian gaped at Venom with fascination while the latter gaped back with dull emotion. The starting battle lasted for a few winks until Venom decided to quit.
"Let's go," he uttered and shut the door of the passenger seat. He unhurriedly strode towards the house when Killian grabbed his arm stopping him in an instant. "What?" the beta rasped as he disliked being touched without permission.
"Are you sure Mr.Smith is here?" skeptical, Killian asked and roamed his sights to the whole vicinity.
Venom's face writhed. "This is the address he sent me. Now move." he pulled his arm from the prince's grip and sauntered ahead.
"Wait." The prince jogged after him and hooked one of his arms on Venom's shoulder.
Venom hastily halted and eyed him with striking irritation. Steadily, Killian flashed him a mere grin and mumbled, "I'm scared of ghosts."
Venom shrugged his arm off, marched at a rapid pace, and grunted, "Whimp!"
A chuckle left Killian's mouth as he shadowed him. "Venom Forcas, wait for me."

"WHAT the hell!" Venom had to use force to untangle the prince's arms clutching his waist. "Space, goddamn it!" he snapped at him.
Killian who seemed to enjoy watching his discomfort made a small pout and flashed him a toothy smile. "If I die in fear there will be war, remember?" he reminded the beta who sent him a look of disbelief.
"You talk too much." Venom shook his head, walked to the front door, and was about to knock when he noticed an odd gap between the frame and the leaf.
The door was unlocked.
With furrowed brows, he shoved it open and was automatically greeted by a weird nose-twitching aroma.
"Son of a bitch!" Venom quickly ran inside the house and found Mr.Smith's lifeless body at the receiving area, laying on the wooden floor and bathing in his blood. His head was ripped off and was resting near his trunk.
"He's dead," Killian who followed suit spoke in a placid manner like the gut-wrenching scene is not new to him.
Venom's nerve pulled taut as he grumbled, "Let's get out of here."
He had bad intuition about Mr.Smith's death. The blood was still fresh and he could infer the killer was still in the house.
Never did Venom expect that his instinct was right when a group of men in black overall jumped from the second floor and landed in front of them creating an awful mess with the attendant's blood.
Venom's nostrils constricted as he inhaled their scents. "Rogues." He determined that the assassins he confronted earlier and the scoundrels who slew Mr.Smith were on the same faction and it only meant one thing.
It's the royal prince they're after.
"Run, Prince Killian!" Venom yelled and nudged the prince towards the entrance but his subject didn't flinch even an inch in his spot. "What the hell are you doing? I said run!"
Killian whose hands were slumped inside the sweatpants sent Venom a puzzled look yet the beta could see mischief beneath his orbs. "They're just mere insects. I am sure you can easily beat them so why run?"
Venom huffed in disbelief wondering if the prince is overlooking the fact that its more than three murderers they're going to deal with? Yes, he could handle them but not with a distraction around.
"And who are you calling insects?"
Venom lost the chance to voice out his argument when someone talked behind him. His jaw ticked and his hands curled into balls along his sides when he spun around and confronted a familiar man he encountered numerous times.
The huge structure of the rogue who's known for inflicting unrest to the eastern territories appeared behind the assassins.
"Reese," with disdain, his name rolled out of Venom's tongue. Venom was not surprised that he was the one who was behind those killers chasing the royal prince. A scamp is always capable of pulling vicious schemes.
Reese; the rogue's boss wearing worn-out garments and a pair of leather boots gradually trudged forward and exclaimed in a taunting posture, "What a pleasant surprise to see the Beta of Blood Moon here in Moon Bay."
Venom hastily stepped in front of Killian as if his built could hide the prince which only drew a large grin on Reese's face. "Ah, I see. You are the hired bodyguard of the dark prince unfortunately, he must die," the rogue boss stated like it's only a fly they're going to annihilate. The grin vanished in a sudden and his expression turned gloomy. "How about you give Prince Killian to us and I will allow you to walk out of this house alive, Forcas?"
A smug smirk pulled the corner of Venom's mouth before he answered, "How about you fuck off before I kick your stupid ass, stinking mutt!" The intensity of his voice declared his refusal which astounded the prince who was watching the scene behind him.
Killian's pale as the moon's countenance glowed. He could not help but chortle and shortly, he leaned forward, he patted the beta's shoulder and raved, "Hell, yeah. That's my bodyguard!"
(Third Person POV)REESE'S hand signal did not miss Venom's keen vigilance. His ears pricked, catching the synchronized sound of motions encircling them. Blocking any possibility of exits."Once I make an opening, you run," in a whisper, Venom told Killian before he veered to the side. Hoisting his balled fists up and separating his athletic legs, he made a potent defensive stance.Steadily, Killian sighed and stood still behind his bodyguard. The moment the assassins commence assault, it's going to be a big commotion yet he could feel the excitement rushed greater than apprehension in his veins. He already saw the second in command of Blood Moon combating earlier but he yearned for more. DUE to stressed acceleration, Venom's car languished in handling the high level of friction resulting in a tire blowout. Gripping the steering wheel tightly whilst sensing the frantic jerking motion of the vehicle, he hastily pulled to the side of the narrow route to prevent further mishap. As the engine tardily ceased its remarkable feat, Venom released a pointed audible exhalation and uttered a muffled cuss. Blood Moon was just an hour and a half away, and if he only slowed down a little after Reese's men stopped hounding their tails, they'd be there in a few winks. In brisk succession, he turned his head left and right, lamenting his dereliction. Carelessness is a dreadful mistake for a bodyguard tasked with protecting a royal bloodline nonetheless, he procrastinated on evaluating his error for at that point, reaching Blood Moon quickly was critical.Venom swiveled around and faced Prince Killian, who was resting his head against the window and looking through h
THE dreary path grew bleaker for only a small portion of moonbeams passed through the thick branches of the ponderosa pines draping the entire niche. The crickets started chirping and the owl hooted audibly— enhancing the gloomy atmosphere yet there's no hint of apprehension in Venom Forcas' and Prince Killian's expressions as they were ambling their way to Blood Moon pack."Are we there yet, Forcas?" barely a twinkling later, the wolf prince asked.Venom's sluggish gait abruptly came to a halt when he heard Prince Killian's question. He exhaled sharply, struggling to keep the growl in his throat at bay. They'd been walking for over two hours, and the prince had been asking him the same question every five minutes, deliberately devouring his galled nerves.Venom wasn't sure if Prince Killian was deliberately inflaming his temper or if he simply couldn't shut his mouth for an hour."Annoying royal," he grunted inside of his head before he shook his head and proce
AN HOUR LATER, a worn-out simper flashed to the corners of Venom's lips as he passed into the Blood Moon wilderness while carrying the wolf prince on his back. For a brief moment, the whooshing sound produced by his quick movement and the friction of his jeans against the knee-length thickets sounded like a lullaby to his ears.A yawn threatened to escape his mouth, but he quickly suppressed it and accelerated even more. Venom couldn't wait to get back to his cabin and sleep for he was exhausted from the shitstorm that had occurred overnight, which had sapped all of his energy.Fighting a gang of assassins, dealing with Reese and his men, and dealing with the prince's eerie demeanor, reaching their pack free of mental illness and unscathed was far from what he had envisioned. As a result, Venom mentally shook his head.Perhaps an hour or two is all that is required for him to regenerate so that he can speak to his father about his resignation as the royal wolf p

"WAIT, your highness!" Selena called out as Prince Killian took slow strides to search for his bodyguard.Taken aback, the prince came to a halt, spun around, and peered at the youngest Forcas who had left her unfinished meal. Dressed in a simple white t-shirt, pink above-the-knee shorts, and pink flat shoes, Selena flashed a toothy smile at him. "Did you forget your room is on the second floor?" She jogged up to him, her fiery red hair in ponytails bouncing on her shoulders. It's hard for Prince Killian to believe she's Xavier and Venom's sister for the three have such opposing personalities. The alpha is a reserved man. Venom is hypersensitive, whereas their youngest is a ball of sunshine. VENOM was awakened by the birds' synchronized chirping and the crowing of the morning rooster. As soon as he opened his eyes, his body jerked up and his hands ruffled his short hair."Shit!" he muttered in a croaked voice and looked around his studio-style cabin. The sun had already risen, and its bright rays were filtering through his open windows. The door was slightly opened asserting that someone went out while he was in a slumber. His gaze darted to his mattress, which was covered with a crumpled bedsheet. Someone slept next to him, and the scents of apple, vanilla, and mint filled his nostrils as proof.A scowl tugged Venom's facial muscle as he smacked his forehead and grunted, "Damn it!" He had fallen asleep last night due to fatigue and had forgotten to join the pack warriors patrolling the borders. It was the first time he had neglected his responsibilities, and while he wanted to blame the prince for constantly bothering him, he should also repriman
AT THE NORTHERN PART OF THE BLOOD MOON, between Alpha Xavier's territory and the nearby pack, a group of suspicious shifters lurked behind the thick grasses. Observing the stringent security conducted by the pack warriors. The wary onlookers waited for a few minutes, hoping for a chance to sneak inside Blood Moon, but the odds were stacked against them. The guards showed no signs of slowing down even for a brief moment. As a result, they dispersed and returned to the small cave hidden in the deepest part of the wilderness, where their leader was waiting."Report," Reese, who was chomping on a piece of meat for his late dinner, ordered as soon as he heard hasty footfalls enter his faction's temporary hideout. His men immediately positioned themselves in front of his makeshift dining table and knelt on the arid floor."Negative, boss. Blood Moon pack warriors are heavily fortifying their borders." Reese hummed, his eyes fixed on the grubs
