Chapter 57 - Vision
Romeo POV
After a while, we shifted back and went back to the Packhouse. Neither Stella nor I were in a chatting mood, so we ran in silence. I was honestly disturbed by what our future held, and I had no idea how I was supposed to break that to her.
We shifted back to human form and wore our clothes. As soon as we looked at each other, there was a silent understanding that it was neither the time, place nor moment to talk about what I had seen. I was thankful for the understanding she showed and for giving me time to process everything.
She locked her fingers in my hand and softly smiled at me. “Let's go home, My Alpha…” she whispered and then pecked my cheek in a tender way. I love her so much. I felt comfortable, and somehow it gave me peace, walking with her hand wrapped around mine. I didn't want to let it go, after what I saw, I wanted to make the best out of every minute.
