Rose POV

We were having lunch. The Special Ops team, Luna Martha, informed me that Paige had requested a picnic basket to share with her sister. I have no idea Paige's intentions in taking Stella out on a picnic because their relationship is nearly non-existent.

I was sitting next to Nate when Romeo walked inside the dining room. “Hey guys…! He greeted all of us, and his next question was, of course, “Where is Stella?”. I had to laugh because he was pretty obvious about his interest in my sister. “She went to have a picnic with Paige…” I said and the look on his face was priceless. His eyes almost popped out of their sockets.

”OK, let me know when she gets back…” He patted Nate's back and headed towards the main table.

After having a pleasant lunch with the guys, I went looking for Stella. I wanted to see how it went with Paige. I knocked

Her last confession made my blood freeze for an instant. I knew she would fight with me for his love, but trying to kill me was on another different level. If becoming an Omega was devastating, this would break me beyond repair.I have no idea what has happened to me, but the only thing I can feel is pain, emptiness, and sorrow. A warm feeling spread around my body and I felt some sort of relief. Where am I, and why can't I open my eyes? My lids seemed to be glued to each other.*****I have no idea how long I have been here, in this state. I wonder if Romeo is looking for me… I can't believe how much I miss him. I hear some faint noises and some faint herbal scents… they are soothing, but not to the extent that Romeo's

Stella POVI finally opened my eyes, I was lying on a mat on the floor. I have no idea where I was. I tried to search in my surroundings and find a clue as to where I was, but I couldn't put anything together. I tried to reach Leia, but she was a no-show. I was definitely inside a shack or cabin, with the trees peeking through the window, maybe in the middle of the forest. The door opened, and an old lady walked in. “Oh, dear! You are up…” She said. Her face was full of wrinkles, and she didn't seem to be a werewolf.“Yeah… What happened? Where am I?” my voice was shaking, and I was hesitant, not knowing if I should trust this lady.“Well, first you can trust me…” She laughed, it was as if she was reading my mind.“Excuse me?” I asked, trying to feign confusion.“Oh darling… you don't need to pretend with me… I am too old to waste my time

Stella POVI have been following every instruction that Eleanore gave me. She fed me every day with healthy meals and the awful potion. I have been feeling quite better, only the sinking feeling of my sister trying to get me cursed and killed. My mind usually wanders about her motives. My parents were always fair with both of us, well at least until I couldn't shift. They are not the typical loving-caring parents. My dad is a ruthless Beta, well-known in most of the werewolf community. He is also a renowned strategist. Overall, his work translated into his personality and personal relations. He is an overachiever, so he always pushed us both, to live and be the best in whatever we wanted to dedicate our time to. Another characteristic of his is that he is a very pragmatic person, he is always driven by the end result. My mother is the seer of SilverCrown Pack. She has a quirky personality, she is funny and caring, but sh

Romeo POVThe packhouse was a mayhem, so many people were running and hustling to get everything up and ready for tonight's ceremony. The ceremony would be held in the backyard with the full Moon as a witness.I took a deep breath, praying to the Moon Goddess to help me with this next step. I have always had faith in our Moon mother, and I know that she will take care of everything that is next to come. My heart was in constant pain, and I also prayed for it to end soon. I rolled my eyes when I saw my mother yelling at an Omega to hurry up with the flowers.“Good Morning, Mother…” I said in a solemn voice. My mother was never affectionate and to say that we had a close relationship would be a big fat lie, but since I agreed to this ceremony, she has been oddly happy and nice to me.“Oh, my son… Are you ready for this big step?” she gave me a smile that could blin

Stella POVWe woke up early in the morning. The Circle of the Willow territory was about 8 hours away from the Royal Pack. So we had a long way to go… Ellie said that because I was with them, they managed to rent a car, but neither of them was proficient at driving, since all of them usually teleport to places, so it was my duty to drive the long ass road. I laughed at their antics when they decided to cramp themselves in the back of an old SUV. Ashia rode next to me, and the other four goofballs clapped and laughed at the whole “traveling like humans” experience.I turned on the engine and started our journey to meet my destiny. I was nervous as hell, and I couldn't help but laugh when they started playing road games, like little kids. Ashia fell asleep and things got worse with the four elderly. Ellie produced some snacks out of nowhere and Elphaba produced wine. She can master the elemental power of water and, with a si

Paige POVToday is the day I have been waiting for. My mom was so happy, you could tell she was proud of me. My dad held his cold demeanor with a tiny spark in his eyes, showing also that he approved of me. All the hierarchy of the werewolf community would be here and more. Luna Mariel invited the hierarchy of other races that had treaties with the werewolves. Witches, Faes, Dragons, and Werebears were among the attendees.Everything was set, ready, and perfect. It was a matter of minutes before my dad walked me up on stage to seal my destiny and take my rightful place as the Luna and Queen of the werewolf community. Coral came towards me and congratulated me. “Here, take this… It will help you to have a smooth ceremony…” She placed a charming bracelet on my wrist.I hugged her. “Thanks, my friend…” I whispered in her ear. I used her, but I also had a soft spot for her.

Stella POVWhen we were alone and all the guests were gone, Romeo took two steps towards me, and he tried to apologize, but I decided that it was not the time nor the moment for that. I placed my finger over his lips, those soft and delicious lips that I had been missing for over a month. His deep blue eyes pierced my soul, my heart was pounding with his closeness and I could only mutter “My Alpha”, before crashing my lips into his. This man in front of me is not a title or a position of power, this man in front of me is my everything. He is my heart and soul, he is the love of my life, he is a kind soul and a great caring leader. The kiss was passionate, soft, and tender, and we poured our hearts into it. His lips moved softly over mine, and his hand reached my neck holding me in place, our breaths mingled, and he bit my lip to deepen the kiss, his tongue explored every corner of my mouth and our tongues danced a perfect tune. Stella POVThe party ended up being a nice gathering, and the people invited celebrated Romeo's new appointment as Supreme Alpha and Alpha of the Royal Pack. People didn't care about Paige or what happened to her. I was immersed in my bubble with my team. Sometime during the night, Romeo was forced to mingle and have several rounds of talks with the Alphas from other packs. After all, he was now a big deal, and people kept coming towards us to greet him or ask him for a further audience.I knew he was going to be busy for a while, and I was getting tired. I have no idea what I should do. I know I have a room at the ¨pack-house, but Romeo hasn't specified if I am still welcome there, and the way his mother looked at me, I was assuming no. “Rose, I am tired, I want to go…” I gave her a small smile and yawned after that.“Sure babe… Do you want me to walk you to the pack-house?” She

She is flourishing into her new roles, her role as Quen and her role as a brand-new mother.Ralph usually gives her more trouble than our sweet baby girl, Stormee. She is just like that, like a storm that takes time to brew, but when it hits you, it hits you fucking hard.I was lounging in my office going through some paperwork when Stella barged in. “Hey, Sweetie…” I lifted my eyebrows, and she sighed,She was silent, and I knew she wanted to discuss something important. “What is it?” I dropped the papers and realized she was biting her nails. This was not a good sign; it meant something was troubling her mind.“We need ground rules…” She blurted, and I squinted my eyebrows.“What?” I sighed. I had no context or ba

Romeo POVIt has been five months since we crossed forces with the darkness. My idea of setting up a council with every ruler as the head of their species was well received. We created treaties and laws that united our realms, and with the help of the Sisters of the Willow, we made a portal system that allowed our people to move back and forth.Morgan was a celebrity in the Dragon Realm. His technology expertise paid off, and now that the dragons had experienced technological advances, they were thrilled to learn more about it. That pushed him and Marcy to move to the Dragon Realm for a while. After all, we were their providers of the technology implemented in their realm. King David was the funniest, trying to video call everyone at all times. His daughter hatched two months ago, a gorgeous baby with purple eyes. The dragon's legends say the purple-eyed dragons were rare and blessed. I guess my pup got lucky on that one.

Stella POVWe managed to walk out of our room and headed to dinner. I was hoping to see everyone there, and I was sure not disappointed. Our table suddenly felt bigger, full of people and laughter. My heart warmed up, seeing the way our pack and friends had recovered from the massive attack we had endured.Everybody went silent as soon as we crossed the threshold of the dining hall. Rose's face lit up, and when our gazes crossed, I couldn't help but give her a broad smile. My eyes moved around, and my heart clenched when I saw Nate sitting in his wheelchair. It is unfair that such a fantastic person has to deal with that kind of recovery. My dearest Elemental elder friends were there as well. Eleanore, Everly, Elphaba, and Evangeline. I owe them everything.

Romeo POVIt was 3 weeks since the attack, all the visiting allied Alphas went back to their packs. They took the few casualties that they had, and everything was coming back to normal. Everything except my mate was still in the hospital, connected to wires with her eyes closed. The ladies of the Circle of the Willow decided to stay in my pack, waiting for Stella to wake up. King Aelfred and Kind David also stayed, but they sent their people back. Queen Sirena decided to take care of Stella personally. While King Vladimir returned to his kingdom, he said he would be back as soon as Paige and Eulisses´s baby was born, with Tatiana.I decided to stay at the hospital for as long as my mate was there. The staff had to pull an extra bed into Stella's guard to make my stay more comfortable. I couldn't part from her. I felt that the moment I walked out of that room, she would wake up, and I wanted to be the first face she

Stella POVDarkness was all I saw around me, I knew we had won, I felt at peace, and I was content with the life that I had lived. I was ready to meet my creator and to rest in peace. I let out a sigh, wishing I could have made it, but I also understood that certain sacrifices should be made for the greater good. So I was at peace.I heard a little giggle, and a white light blasted over me. I opened my eyes and realized that I was in a clearing, similar to where I was before, but there was no one around except me and a lady in a white dress.I walked towards the lady and I knew immediately that she was our Goddess. I guess I was in heaven. “My child, you did well… I am proud of you, you saved every species around, and for that, I am proud of you.” Selene said to me in a mellow and melodic voice. She sat on the ground facing the sky and I sat next to her. “You know that I bles

Paige POVShe blasted me. The fucking bitch blasted me with dark magic with full force. At that moment, I was thankful that Vladimir had asked me for an elf´s armor. Coral´s magic was slipping away from my body, not reaching me and not affecting me.I saw it in her eyes. She didn't know what was happening, she didn't understand the reach of white magic, and she was confused about what was protecting me. Beside the armor, the witches of the Circle of the Willow cast a blessing spell over me. No dark magic would be allowed to harm me, regardless of who cast it or how strong it was.I smiled at my ex-friend. “Oh, Coral, you wouldn't understand. Darkness is never stronger than light. Darkness corrupts everything, while light leads to a better path. You left darkness to consume you, and now you can't even see clearly what is happening around you.” I raised my eyes, looking at her completely dark ones. She gave me a look of co

Romeo POVIt was carnage, body parts flying everywhere, mostly from their creatures. Still, suddenly, we realized that even as we tore and tore flesh, the limp bodies on the ground started regenerating and attacking again. It was endless. Our injured warriors were removed from the field almost immediately.David left the fight and followed our sub-plan to protect Stella. We agreed to remove ourselves from the front and keep an eye on her. I felt her link open, and she whispered, “Honey, it is time. I love you.”“I love you, sweetheart. I will see you in a bit.” I told her, noticing the ground opening under us and demons crawling out. Shit, this is the worst-case scenario, these creatures are vicious, and our warriors are tired.Mariel POVI wanted to finish him, Romeo, the product of Remus' abuse of me, the reason why I couldn't leave that pack and have a happy life with my fated

Stella POVI was disappointed to feel Romeo closing in on me. I wanted to relax in his arms, but he refused and, with a tender kiss, walked away from me. I could feel his turmoil through our bond. I understand the way he feels, but he needs to give me some credit. Before I even had powers and my wolf, I was a good warrior and the best strategist, so he needed to start trusting me with my safety and the safety of my pups. I lay in bed trying to rest, but sleep never came. I tossed and turned until I placed my head over Romeo´spillow, which did the trick. Yes, I needed my mate close, and my pups also needed him, but he decided to leave us here.My selfish side wanted him near me at every single moment, while my rational side understood that he had a ton of things to check before the war. He wanted to be prepared and sure that we would be successful. Although my heart was hurting because I was in tune with my selfish side,

Romeo POVI dismissed the meeting, trying to wrap my head around what happened there. I want to keep Stella and my pups as far away as I can from the shitshow, and on the other hand, they twisted my arm into agreeing to have them as bait. I am torn and I don't know what to think about it.Stella is confident and wants to be part of everything, and I know for sure that she is capable enough, but still, my heart and my brain don't seem to agree on what to do. My heart and my wolf are pushing me to keep her safe and concealed from everything, while my brain is telling me that the best option to win this once and for all is to agree with Mother Ashia.Stella took my hand and gave me a small smile. She could feel my turmoil, and I, for once, was not trying to hide it from her. She needs to know that it has been the hardest decision I have had to make, and even if we agree on it, I am not sure about it.“H
