In a tiny run-down shack, in the middle of the forest, screams were heard as a woman lay on a bed, giving birth. When the baby made her entrance into the world, the mother looked at her with disdain, and picked her up. As she walked out the door, she chuckled as she pinched the nose of the severed head which belonged to the inhabitant of this shack, "You would still be alive if you had just stayed gone." She walked out the door, with the baby, and turned around and pointed at the house to set the house on fire. Then she looked at the baby with a sneer, "Now to get rid of you.”

As she walked through the forest, she dropped her into a pile of leaves at the base of a tree as she walked past it. She walked away, mumbling, “I’m not going to kill you yet. I may need you in the future.”

The baby girl lays quietly as her mother walks away. Her tiny, naked body has no time to grow cold before Winnie, Queen of the White Witch Coven, feels the magic rolling off of her in waves and follows the waves to the source. When she finds the baby, she gasps, “Look at you, little one! So much magic in such a tiny body! We must protect you with our lives. We must train you to use your powers for good purposes. I can feel who your mother is. We can’t let her have you back.”

She picks up the child, wraps her in her cloak and teleports to her castle. She tells Ariel, her second in command, to call a meeting of the coven. As soon as everyone is present, she walks to the front of the room, holding the baby. As she is walking, the witches get quiet as she passes them.

When she gets to the front of the room, she speaks, “I found this baby in the forest less than one hour ago. She was just born less than two hours ago, because her umbilical cord was still attached and warm. I can tell you, that she is going to be one of these most powerful witches in history. I can also tell you that her biological mother is Dahlia.” There was an audible gasp and murmuring until Queen Winnie held up her hand for silence, then continued, “She can not be returned to Dahlia, no matter the consequences. She will be raised as my child, and as a white witch. Under no circumstances is this information to leave our coven. Do you all agree to protect this little one for the rest of her life?” There was a resounding, “We will.”

Elisabeth POV 10 Years Later “Mom! Are we ready to go yet? I can’t wait to see Elliot… and his brother and sisters!” I’m waiting in the foyer of the castle, and mom is taking her sweet time getting Raven ready to go. Raven is my mom’s granddaughter, but she and I are like sisters, and she is only five. My mom, Queen Winnie, is actually my stepmom. She has never tried to keep it a secret either. I’m only ten, but she raised me to be independent. That would also be why I’m ready and Raven is not. She likes to play the helpless child role a little too much. I keep telling her that it’s going to bite her one day, but she loves the attention a little too much to stop. Finally, Raven runs downstairs, followed by mom. Mom is smiling at me and rolling her eyes at Raven. I ask, “Are we ready to go now?” Mom smiles at me, “You and Elliot are getting quite friendly lately.” I blush, “I really like him. I would love it if we were mates. Plus, it’s their birthday!” Mom rolls her

Elliot and I walked into the ballroom, and we were instantly bombarded by his siblings, Saphira and Levi. The three of them are triplets and they are so much fun to be around. Saphira chimes in first, “Oh. My. Goddess! Elliot! Elisabeth is your mate! Your prayers were answered!” Elliot blushed and nodded, “They were. I see you found your mate too.” She smiled as she hugged the arm of a huge, really hot, man with brown hair and brown eyes. She beamed, “Dax Dillan, of the Mer-people, meet my brother, Prince Elliot and his new mate, Elisabeth Fox, of the White Witch Coven.” Dax smiled at us, and Elliot smiled, “Well, sis, looks like your prayers were answered too.” She winked at us and smiled, “Yes they did.” Then Levi approaches us with a tiny blonde woman with bright blue eyes. She was just too cute for words. Levi smiled, “Breena Pari, of the Fairy Kingdom, meet my brother, Prince Elliot and his new mate… is that Elisabeth?!” Elliot and I laugh, and I chime in, “Elisabeth of

As we were laying there, I felt a burning sensation on the other side of my neck. I asked, “What’s happening?” He felt the burning too and replied, “We’re getting our dragon marks.” The burn was done in less than a minute, but I was confused, “But you marked me while we were mating.” He sighed, “Well, you know that my mom is a hybrid, right?” I nodded and he continued, “I am too. So is Levi. Saphira is straight wolf and an oracle.” I giggled, “She won’t be straight wolf for long.” He laughed, “I guess not.” I smiled, “I am fine with all of that. I love you for you, Elliot. I know your animals are big part of who you are, so I love them too.” He held me tighter, “We love you too. We have a lot to catch up on. But tonight, we just need to be together. Nothing else. Anything serious can wait for morning.” I woke the next morning to the sound of birds chirping and sunlight streaming through the curtains. Our first night together was pure bliss. We spent the entire night wrapped

Elliot and I went to town. He took me to the chef supply store, then laughed at how excited I got. Have I mentioned that I love his laugh? Anyway, I managed to get all of the small appliances I wanted for my kitchen, plus a few that I didn’t know existed. Then we went to the grocery store, and I loaded us down with groceries, considering we were starting from nothing. I decided that I would make something easy for lunch, because I wanted to have energy for the conversation that needed to happen with my mom and Elliot. I know Elliot can tell I’m not comfortable with something, because he keeps asking me if I’m okay. I smile and tell him, “I’m fine. Just a little nervous about having mom over for lunch.” He raises his brow at me, and I smile and kiss him, hoping that will make him feel better. We are on our way home, and he suddenly pulls the car over. He looks at me and narrows his eyes, “Baby, something is wrong. I can feel you worrying.” I put my hand on his face, and he le

After my mom left, Elliot helped me clean the kitchen and he grabbed my hand and took me to his office. I looked around and asked, “Is there a reason you have nothing on the walls?” He laughed, “The house was done being built the day before we moved in. They managed to get all the furniture delivered right before I left for the ball.” I gasped, “Wow! That was cutting it super close. Is there a certain theme you want it decorated in?” He nodded as he took my hand, sat in his chair and led me to sit on his lap, “I want pictures of you and us. That’s what I want in here.” I smiled, “You are too sweet. But seriously, how would you like it done?” He chuckled, “I was serious. When we have children, I want photos of them on the walls too.” I shook my head, “A family man already, ay?” He beamed, “There is nothing wrong with wanting to show off my mate and family.” I smiled, “I do love that about you. So, do you want a photographer to come out?” He shook his head and grinned at me, “I have a

After Koda left, Elliot and I went to his office and Elliot called his dad. We made arrangements for the alliance to meet in our home tomorrow evening. Next, we went to each of the bedrooms, and decided that the one next to his office made the most sense and it was large enough to hold forty people seated in chairs, with room to spare. I decided that I would make a variety of snacks for everyone to munch on during the meeting. Elliot smiled, “Baby, I love the way you want to take care of people, but they aren’t coming here for snacks.” I laughed, “I know, but many people think better when they have something sweet to munch on. It’s just a variety of cookies, cupcakes, that kind of thing. It won’t take long.” He approached me and wrapped his arms around me, “You really are something else. I’m trying to make sure you are safe and all you can think of is what to feed everyone.” I laugh, “It’s not that I’m not worried about my safety, I just trust you with my life… literally.” I

I am telling Elliot about my dream, and he tries to get me to lay back down. I shook my head, “I can’t go back to sleep. I could literally feel the evil coming off of her. Goddess! That was such a horrible feeling! I can’t let her find me, Elliot. You know what’s even worse?” He cocks his head in interest. I told him, “I have siblings that she is trying to find too.” Elliot takes a deep breath, “I wonder if there is a way to find them before she does?” I shook my head, “I don’t think there is. My mom has tried. I know she already has one of my sisters. I saw her shackled in a room in her castle.” Elliot sighed, “Okay. There really isn’t anything that can be done about it tonight. Let’s try to get some sleep, then get this conference room ready. It’s going to take the whole alliance to work this out. Dahlia is no one to be messed with, from what I understand.” I leaned into the comfort and safety of Elliot’s arms, “Okay. I will try and get back to sleep. Thank you.” He asked,

I was in the middle of sitting when she said that, and I nearly missed my chair. Tears immediately welled in my eyes as I replied, “I haven’t used my magic since our first morning here. That was only because I had no choice. So, you have had at least one vision about me?” Princess Chloe replied, “I have. I am so happy you two decided to call in the alliance on this. They are definitely needed.” I held Elliot’s hand and smiled, “It was his idea. I honestly thought I was on my own with this problem.” Prince Aidinth furrowed his brow, “Elisa, you will never be on your own again. You have our entire family, Winnie, and the alliance behind you. They have helped us through smaller problems than this one.” I smiled, “Thank you. You have no idea what this means to me.” Chloe smiled, “We will work this out. You have to know that. I have had a few sleepless nights over the last week, because they were filled with visions of you.” Prince Aidinth chuckled, “A few? She hasn’t slept

Twenty Years Later I’m sitting in my favorite spot with my mate sitting behind me in my favorite lounge chair. We are both drinking our morning coffee as two mountain lions walked up to the deck. They both bowed to us, and I smiled, “Good morning, Dusty. Good morning, Lilly.” Dusty found his mate in his own pack on his sixteenth birthday. We had a party for him that night and he introduced her to all of us. She is such a sweet girl I really couldn’t wish for anything better for him. Robert and Katie are so proud of them. They had four children and they only have two still at home. I am so proud of the parents they are. The two children that have already found their mates and left are absolutely awesome. Linden found his mate and decided to build another house close to our land. His mate understands that he needs to be close to family and his siblings are all he has left. His father passed away when my triplets were only two years old. It was an extremely hard time for him. We made s

Robert and Katie laughed and shook their heads as Robert smiled, “Now that would make me rethink my choice to be a parent.” I laughed, “I think she did.” Just then, Calista ran out onto the deck, “Good morning, mom.” She sat in my lap and hugged me tightly. I turned her around and introduced her to them. She smiled, “It’s very nice to meet my Uncle Dusty’s parents. I love him so much!” Katie smiled, “I’m so glad you love him, Calista.” I asked Calista, “Is anyone else up?” She smiled, “Dad is up with Raze and Eva.” I laughed, “Is Willow awake yet?” She shook her head, “She was sleeping peacefully when I came out.” I smiled, “Thank you. I guess you would like some breakfast, huh?” She smiled and shook her head shyly. I smiled, “Okay.” Then I turned to Robert and Katie, “Would you like to join us?” They agreed and followed me and Calista into the house. I cooked a big breakfast and had it all laid on the table. As soon as it was all prepared, it sounded like a herd of horses coming down

When Taylor was done feeding the boys, Evan and I took the boys in the living room to visit with everyone else. Uncle Dax was the first to hold out his arms. Evan smiled as he held out the first baby boy, “You are now holding Cain, and the boy mom is holding is Dylan.” After Doctor Harper was done with Taylor, I walked with her to another guest room in the house and smiled, “I remember how all I wanted after all that was to take a shower. Is that what you would like?” She replied, “Definitely.” I smiled, “You go ahead and take a shower. That shower has a bench in it so you can sit. I would highly recommend using it. I will get you some clothes.” I opened the closet door and found a perfect pair of soft sweatpants and a t-shirt that looked lusciously oversized. I grabbed a pair of underwear and a bra and put them on the bed. When Taylor walked out of the bathroom in a towel, I asked, “Feeling better?” She smiled, “That did feel better.” I got you a comfy pair of sweats and an oversized

Seven months later… Taylor and Evan are staying in the guest house with dad and Linden. Taylor wants me to be there for her when she gives birth. She’s afraid Evan is going to pass out. Evan agrees with her, but he still wants to be there for her and to see his babies being born. He swears we will try his hardest to stay conscious. We all laugh and Elliot smiles, “I don’t blame you, dude. I almost passed out a few times.” We were all eating breakfast one morning when Taylor gasped, “Oh dear. I’m pretty sure I’m in labor.” I smiled, “Evan, you need to be keeping track of how far apart the contractions are. Let us know when they are around five minutes apart. Taylor, you need to tell him when each contraction starts and ends. Okay?” She nodded in reply and I called Doctor Harper. Doctor Harper said she would start driving here now, so we will be ready. Wow. The whole family showed up! Within 2 hours, Elliot and I were sitting in the living room with dad, my mom, Evan’s parents, Aidint

I laughed, “I understand completely.” Calista smiled, “I can sing for you, Uncle Dusty.” He looked at me and I nodded, “Trust me… You want to hear this.” Dusty nodded, “I would love to hear you sing.” Calista started singing the most beautiful and relaxing song I have ever heard and Dusty looks so relaxed and happy. When the song ends, Dusty chuckles, “Calista, you are awesome!” She smiles proudly, “I’m a mermaid/wolf hybrid and an omega. My mom and dad rescued me from my old alpha. He kept me in a tiny room under the stairs in his packhouse. He was planning on marking and mating me. They rescued me just in time.” Dusty asked, “What happened to your family?” She looked down at her hands in her lap, “My old alpha killed my parents and my brother. My parents hid me, but I saw him rip my brother’s head off. But I have mom and dad now and I have the best family ever. I have LOTS of uncles and grandparents and now I have a brother and SISTERS! I really am a lucky girl.” Dusty pulled her clo

One week later… Mom spent the night with us last night because mommy, daddy and sister all needed to get a full night of sleep. We were all starting to get quite cranky. I don’t think I was ever more thankful for my mom when she offered to stay overnight. After feeding the babies at eight pm, I went straight to bed. I think Calista went to bed before I did and Elliot was waiting for me in bed when I got there. We all slept like rocks and I didn’t wake up the entire night. It was my best night’s sleep since the night before I gave birth to all of them. Don’t get me wrong, I love all three of my newborns. But they are definitely little sleep robbers! Ladies, let me give you a bit of advice. When other women tell you to sleep when they sleep, LISTEN! Trust me, it makes perfect sense. If the things you need to do can wait, do it. They have been wearing us all out. Raze has an insatiable appetite. We were at the grocery store yesterday, and a little older lady heard Raze’s hungry screams.

I held her close to me, “I don’t care how many little girls we give birth to; you will always be our baby girl. You just won’t be the only one anymore. Okay?” She smiled as she snuggled closer to me, “I like that idea.” I smiled, “Me too.” Then I asked her, “What do you think of being a big sister now that you’ve seen your new brother and sisters?” She giggled, “I am going to have so much fun. Especially with Eva! She’s like me!” I started yawning and Elliot sighed, “Are you ready to get some sleep, love?” I shrugged, “Yeah, I better sleep while I can. Doctor Harper left some formula on the counter with the bottles. There are plenty of diapers in the nursery next to our room. Would you please turn on the baby monitor before you come to bed?” Elliot smiled, “We have plenty of help, love.” I reminded him, “Doctor Harper told me to alternate between formula and breast milk. Next feeding, you all can feed them, but please wake me to feed them when they wake to eat after that.” Mom nodded,

I suddenly felt fear wash over me and I was almost paralyzed. What if I’m a horrible mom? I mean I would never do what Dahlia did to me, but what if I don’t develop that mother-child bond? I’m scared to death but then Elliot leans to comfort me and says in low voice into my ear, “You’re going to be fine, love. You are nothing but kind and nurturing. You’ve worked wonders with Calista. You have nothing to fear, baby. You also have tons of help at your fingertips.” I smiled as he kissed my forehead, “You always know exactly what I need to hear. I love you so much.” With that, I felt my stomach get tight and I lifted my torso to bear down, pushing to help our first baby through the birth canal. Doctor Harper encouraged, “That was a really good one, Elisa. Need another push.” Another contraction hit and I started pushing again. I was pushing and felt a sudden reduction in pressure. Doctor Harper smiled, “Here is your prince!” Our little boy started wailing as his father cut the cord, “He’

I sat in the living room with my feet up with dad, Elliot, Evan, Linden and Max. I was trying to relax, but my back started hurting. The ache started moving around to my belly and I could feel my belly squeezing tightly. It wasn’t so painful that it was alarming, it just really caught my attention. I raised my shirt to expose my belly as another contraction hit. As my belly contracted, I tapped Elliot to get his attention. As we both looked down at my belly, Elliot gasped as the babies were clearly visible as my belly squeezed around them. He asked, “That looks like it hurts so bad, and you are just sitting there looking at it. You are tougher than I am.” I laughed, “My back hurts worse than my belly.” Doctor Harper walked in, “Don’t get used to it. It won’t stay this way.” I looked up at her, smiling, “It will all be worth it. I can’t wait to meet them.” Doctor Harper smiled, “You are going to be such a great mother.” I asked, “Do you think a numbing spell would be a good idea?” She
