After my mom left, Elliot helped me clean the kitchen and he grabbed my hand and took me to his office. I looked around and asked, “Is there a reason you have nothing on the walls?” He laughed, “The house was done being built the day before we moved in. They managed to get all the furniture delivered right before I left for the ball.” I gasped, “Wow! That was cutting it super close. Is there a certain theme you want it decorated in?” He nodded as he took my hand, sat in his chair and led me to sit on his lap, “I want pictures of you and us. That’s what I want in here.” I smiled, “You are too sweet. But seriously, how would you like it done?” He chuckled, “I was serious. When we have children, I want photos of them on the walls too.” I shook my head, “A family man already, ay?” He beamed, “There is nothing wrong with wanting to show off my mate and family.” I smiled, “I do love that about you. So, do you want a photographer to come out?” He shook his head and grinned at me, “I have a better idea. Grab your phone and come with me.”

Elliot and I spent the afternoon exploring the woods around our cabin and taking pictures in scenic areas. At one point, we happened upon a beautiful river with a huge waterfall. I gasped when I saw it. Elliot smiled, “That’s one of the main reasons I bought this part of the mountain. I can see us building a dock on the water and putting a boat out there. We can have days where we stay on a boat out on the river all day.” I smile, “I do love the sound of that.” Then he seemed to snap back to present day and told me, “When the weather is warmer, I want to take you up here and get pictures of you in a bikini.” I laugh, “You are nuts. You know that don’t you?” He nodded, “I am nuts about you, my love.” I asked, “So what would happen if your dad walked into your office and saw those kinds of pictures on your wall?” He smiled, “He’d laugh and tell me I’m whipped. To which I would tell him I am… happily.” I just shook my head and laughed.

When we got back to the house, I started cooking dinner, while Elliot uploaded all of our photos. While I was at a good stopping point, for about ten minutes, I walked into the office, and saw Elliot printing out a bunch of pictures. I laughed at him, “Are there any we took that you didn’t like?” He grinned, “There were a few that were my least favorite.” I looked through the ones he printed and asked, “You didn’t print any of you! I wanted a few pictures of just you.” He cocked his head at me, “You do?” I chuckle, “Yes, I do. You’re my favorite person on Earth. Why wouldn’t I?” He smiles, “You need to tell me which ones.” He pulls them up and I smile as I point to five of them. He asks, “What are you going to do with five pictures of me?” I raise my eyebrows, “Same thing you are going to do with one hundred photos of me.” He blushed as I turned to go back into the kitchen.

When supper was ready, I told Elliot to come and eat. He looked at what I cooked, and he was really happy. “Oh, my Goddess,” he smiled, “I love spaghetti and meatballs!” I laughed, “I’m glad you do. I made cheesy garlic bread too.” He tasted both, and moaned, “This is so good.” I smiled, “Thank you.” We finished eating, and there was a knock at the door. Elliot jumped out of his chair and ran to get the door, while I went to the kitchen and started cleaning up. Out of curiosity, I asked, “Elliot, who is it?” He smiled, “Apparently, your mom sent a truck with all your stuff in it. Luckily, she sent a couple guys to help unload it and take the truck back too.” I smiled, “Aw, how sweet! Can they just put them in one of the spare bedrooms for now?” He nodded, “You got it, my princess.”

When they were done unloading and left, I walked up there, and started looking for all of my clothes. I really wanted those put away before they got wrinkled. I found the boxes and started putting my clothes away when I started hearing Elliot talk to someone. I walked downstairs, and he was talking to a mountain of a man in out living room.

I walked into the living room, and Elliot smiled, “There she is! Koda, leader of the werebears in our area, meet my beautiful mate, Elisa.” Koda smiled as he stood from the couch, “It’s very nice to meet you, Princess. I will have to bring my mate to meet you too. The is the princess of the Angel Kingdom.” I smiled, “Please, it’s just Elisa to friends and I would love to meet her. We will have to have you over for dinner soon.” He smiled, “We would love that.” Elliot chimed in, “Koda is one of the allies in our multi-species alliance. I was just talking with him about your situation and why we need to add security to keep you safe.” I smile as I stand behind him. I bend to wrap my arms around his shoulders, “I do love that you want to keep me safe. Why don’t you just call a meeting, and we can talk about it with the whole alliance?” He nodded, “I probably should do that. We would have to do it at the castle. I don’t have a conference room set up here yet.” I smiled, “It would take a morning to set up a conference room in one of the bedrooms. I’m sure we can make seven bedrooms work for our future family.” Koda laughed as I grinned at Elliot. Koda laughed, “I am betting that you will want to stop at two or three.” Elliot smiled, “Maybe, but it’s nice to be prepared for more.” I chuckled as I stood to go back to unpacking my clothes. I told him, “Just arrange it for tomorrow evening, and we can go to the furniture store tomorrow morning to get everything set up for it. Meanwhile, I am going to finish unpacking my clothes while you guys visit.” I kissed Elliot’s cheek and told Koda that it was nice meeting him and walked back upstairs.

When I finished unpacking my clothes, I walked back downstairs, and Koda and Elliot were still talking. I asked them, “Would you guys like a snack? I still have some homemade apple pie.” Koda smiled and slapped Elliot, “You didn’t tell me your mate could cook!” Elliot laughed, “Yeah. I got lucky with her.” I brought a piece of pie to each of them and smiled, “I’m the lucky one.” Koda took a bite of pie and started moaning. I laughed as he swallowed that bite and playfully slapped Elliot on the shoulder, “She’s smart and she can cook! Man, you better do everything in your power to keep this one. You don’t find that very often at all.” I laughed, “Thank you, Koda. I appreciate that.”

Elliot’s smile beamed, “She is stuck with me for life. I’ve waited for this woman since we were ten years old. I would never want to hurt her.”

After Koda left, Elliot and I went to his office and Elliot called his dad. We made arrangements for the alliance to meet in our home tomorrow evening. Next, we went to each of the bedrooms, and decided that the one next to his office made the most sense and it was large enough to hold forty people seated in chairs, with room to spare. I decided that I would make a variety of snacks for everyone to munch on during the meeting. Elliot smiled, “Baby, I love the way you want to take care of people, but they aren’t coming here for snacks.” I laughed, “I know, but many people think better when they have something sweet to munch on. It’s just a variety of cookies, cupcakes, that kind of thing. It won’t take long.” He approached me and wrapped his arms around me, “You really are something else. I’m trying to make sure you are safe and all you can think of is what to feed everyone.” I laugh, “It’s not that I’m not worried about my safety, I just trust you with my life… literally.” I

I am telling Elliot about my dream, and he tries to get me to lay back down. I shook my head, “I can’t go back to sleep. I could literally feel the evil coming off of her. Goddess! That was such a horrible feeling! I can’t let her find me, Elliot. You know what’s even worse?” He cocks his head in interest. I told him, “I have siblings that she is trying to find too.” Elliot takes a deep breath, “I wonder if there is a way to find them before she does?” I shook my head, “I don’t think there is. My mom has tried. I know she already has one of my sisters. I saw her shackled in a room in her castle.” Elliot sighed, “Okay. There really isn’t anything that can be done about it tonight. Let’s try to get some sleep, then get this conference room ready. It’s going to take the whole alliance to work this out. Dahlia is no one to be messed with, from what I understand.” I leaned into the comfort and safety of Elliot’s arms, “Okay. I will try and get back to sleep. Thank you.” He asked,

I was in the middle of sitting when she said that, and I nearly missed my chair. Tears immediately welled in my eyes as I replied, “I haven’t used my magic since our first morning here. That was only because I had no choice. So, you have had at least one vision about me?” Princess Chloe replied, “I have. I am so happy you two decided to call in the alliance on this. They are definitely needed.” I held Elliot’s hand and smiled, “It was his idea. I honestly thought I was on my own with this problem.” Prince Aidinth furrowed his brow, “Elisa, you will never be on your own again. You have our entire family, Winnie, and the alliance behind you. They have helped us through smaller problems than this one.” I smiled, “Thank you. You have no idea what this means to me.” Chloe smiled, “We will work this out. You have to know that. I have had a few sleepless nights over the last week, because they were filled with visions of you.” Prince Aidinth chuckled, “A few? She hasn’t slept

My mom continued, “Dahlia, Queen of the Dark Witch Coven, is on the loose looking for the children she gave birth to many years ago. At least the ones she didn’t kill, anyway. As far as I have been able to tell, Elisabeth is the first born and, therefore, the strongest. I will tell you… her magic is extremely powerful. I found her in the forest with her umbilical cord still attached. The cord hadn’t even had time to grow cold. I found her because I felt the waves from her magic from ten miles away. When I reached the source of the waves, you can only imagine my surprise. She was such a tiny thing. She ended up growing up to be the same, tiny body with huge magic. She had a temper tantrum at the age of three that blew out every single window in my castle. All of those windows were enchanted. She was able to break through my enchantment spells.” Everyone in the room looked at me in amazement. My mom continued, “As far as I know, she has four younger siblings that Dahlia has not killed

As I stand before these ladies, I can’t believe how quickly they stepped up to help me. There was no hesitation at all. I ask my mom, “What is the spell?” My mom smiles, “Let me do it. It’s bad enough that your magic will be flying around, at least it won’t be used. That’s what leaves the marker.” I slap myself in the head, “Duh! That was really stupid.” All four ladies laugh, and I just shake my head in disbelief.” Mom laughs, “Let’s do this.” I stand there as my mom starts chanting in Latin. I recognize some words, but not all of them. Suddenly, I start feeling my magic leave me, and I start feeling weird. I can tell that Selene is the first to receive my powers, because she starts glowing. When she absolutely cannot take any more, she tells mom, “Stop.” Mom immediately starts on Eden. She has started glowing too. When she couldn’t take any more, she says, “Stop.” Mom turns to Carina. My magic fills her until I have just a tiny bit left. I tell her, “Stop,” and she stops j

It has been three days since I stored my magic, and I really don’t miss it as much as I thought I would. My mom did such an amazing job raising me to be able to survive without it, that it’s just second nature now. I’m sure she probably knew this would happen. That’s why she raised me to be able to survive without it. Either way, I’m still happy. Dahlia has not succeeded in stealing my happiness. I am still getting used to having so many guards around me, but I’m also never lonely. None of my guards give me the creeps. They are all great people and are very close to being considered friends. I really do like them all. We all joke around and have fun. That’s the way I wanted it. Elliot seems to like that we all have fun together too. I catch him laughing with the guys a lot. I am really happy to see him happy, even though life has tried to knock us down since we got together. I have decided that I would really like to take a walk in the woods today. I always have love

After lunch, I was in the office looking for Maija prints to be able to hang on the walls in the living room and conference room. I’m a huge fan of her work, and they fit with our home. Elliot walked in and asked to sit in his chair. I stood up, let him sit down, then I sat in his lap without ever taking my hand off the mouse or my eyes off the screen. He laughed, “What has you so enthralled that you can’t even say hi?” I chuckled, “I’m looking for Maija prints for the living room and conference room. Look.” He looked at the prints and agreed fully with me, “Those are perfect for this house. I see about eight of them that I would love to own.” I started laughing at him and he raised his eyebrows at me, “What? They’re really good!” I laughed even harder, “What happened to letting me decorate the house?” He chuckled, “Well don’t show me this stuff if you don’t want my input.” I snuggled closer to him, “I do love that we love the same things. Which ones were you going to choose?” He po

The way Elliot yelled my name, I honestly thought something was seriously wrong. When I walked in the door, I could tell that it was something totally the opposite. He was looking at his computer screen and smiling. Is that a tear falling? What the hell could make my big, burly, wolf/dragon hybrid happy to the point of tears? “Are you okay?” I asked. He smiled and waved me over to his side of the desk, “These pictures are amazing. All of them.” He started from the beginning, and I gasped at almost every single one. He pulled up a picture of us holding hands and walking the trail. It’s a view from behind, and we are looking at each other and smiling. He smiled, “I want this one over our mantle. What do you think?” I nodded, “It’s a possibility. What about the rest of them?” He laughed, “You’re going to have a hard time. Trust me. Beagan is really good! She deserves a bonus for this work.” I shrugged, “So maybe we should give her a bonus.” He smiled, “We will. These are better than I

I turned her around and introduced her to them. She smiled, “It’s very nice to meet my Uncle Dusty’s parents. I love him so much!” Katie smiled, “I’m so glad you love him, Calista.” I asked Calista, “Is anyone else up?” She smiled, “Dad is up with Raze and Eva.” I laughed, “Is Willow awake yet?” She shook her head, “She was sleeping peacefully when I came out.” I smiled, “Thank you. I guess you would like some breakfast, huh?” She smiled and shook her head shyly. I smiled, “Okay.” Then I turned to Robert and Katie, “Would you like to join us?” They agreed and followed me and Calista into the house. I cooked a big breakfast and had it all laid on the table. As soon as it was all prepared, it sounded like a herd of horses coming down

When Taylor was done feeding the boys, Evan and I took the boys in the living room to visit with everyone else. Uncle Dax was the first to hold out his arms. Evan smiled as he held out the first baby boy, “You are now holding Cain, and the boy mom is holding is Dylan.” After Doctor Harper was done with Taylor, I walked with her to another guest room in the house and smiled, “I remember how all I wanted after all that was to take a shower. Is that what you would like?” She replied, “Definitely.” I smiled, “You go ahead and take a shower. That shower has a bench in it so you can sit. I would highly recommend using it. I will get you some clothes.” I opened the closet door and found a perfect pair of soft sweatpants and a t-shirt that looked lusciously oversized. I grabbed a pair of underwear and a bra and put them on the bed. When Taylor walked out of the bathroom in a towel, I asked, “Feeling better?” She smiled, “That did feel better.” I got you a comfy pair of sweats and an oversized

Seven months later… Taylor and Evan are staying in the guest house with dad and Linden. Taylor wants me to be there for her when she gives birth. She’s afraid Evan is going to pass out. Evan agrees with her, but he still wants to be there for her and to see his babies being born. He swears we will try his hardest to stay conscious. We all laugh and Elliot smiles, “I don’t blame you, dude. I almost passed out a few times.” We were all eating breakfast one morning when Taylor gasped, “Oh dear. I’m pretty sure I’m in labor.” I smiled, “Evan, you need to be keeping track of how far apart the contractions are. Let us know when they are around five minutes apart. Taylor, you need to tell him when each contraction starts and ends. Okay?” She nodded in reply and I called Doctor Harper. Doctor Harper said she would start driving here now, so we will be ready. Wow. The whole family showed up! Within 2 hours, Elliot and I were sitting in the living room with dad, my mom, Evan’s parents, Aidint

I laughed, “I understand completely.” Calista smiled, “I can sing for you, Uncle Dusty.” He looked at me and I nodded, “Trust me… You want to hear this.” Dusty nodded, “I would love to hear you sing.” Calista started singing the most beautiful and relaxing song I have ever heard and Dusty looks so relaxed and happy. When the song ends, Dusty chuckles, “Calista, you are awesome!” She smiles proudly, “I’m a mermaid/wolf hybrid and an omega. My mom and dad rescued me from my old alpha. He kept me in a tiny room under the stairs in his packhouse. He was planning on marking and mating me. They rescued me just in time.” Dusty asked, “What happened to your family?” She looked down at her hands in her lap, “My old alpha killed my parents and my brother. My parents hid me, but I saw him rip my brother’s head off. But I have mom and dad now and I have the best family ever. I have LOTS of uncles and grandparents and now I have a brother and SISTERS! I really am a lucky girl.” Dusty pulled her clo

One week later… Mom spent the night with us last night because mommy, daddy and sister all needed to get a full night of sleep. We were all starting to get quite cranky. I don’t think I was ever more thankful for my mom when she offered to stay overnight. After feeding the babies at eight pm, I went straight to bed. I think Calista went to bed before I did and Elliot was waiting for me in bed when I got there. We all slept like rocks and I didn’t wake up the entire night. It was my best night’s sleep since the night before I gave birth to all of them. Don’t get me wrong, I love all three of my newborns. But they are definitely little sleep robbers! Ladies, let me give you a bit of advice. When other women tell you to sleep when they sleep, LISTEN! Trust me, it makes perfect sense. If the things you need to do can wait, do it. They have been wearing us all out. Raze has an insatiable appetite. We were at the grocery store yesterday, and a little older lady heard Raze’s hungry screams.

Okay?” She smiled as she snuggled closer to me, “I like that idea.” I smiled, “Me too.” Then I asked her, “What do you think of being a big sister now that you’ve seen your new brother and sisters?” She giggled, “I am going to have so much fun. Especially with Eva! She’s like me!” I started yawning and Elliot sighed, “Are you ready to get some sleep, love?” I shrugged, “Yeah, I better sleep while I can. Doctor Harper left some formula on the counter with the bottles. There are plenty of diapers in the nursery next to our room. Would you please turn on the baby monitor before you come to bed?” Elliot smiled, “We have plenty of help, love.” I reminded him, “Doctor Harper told me to alternate between formula and breast milk. Next feeding, you all can feed them, but please wake me to feed them when they wake to eat after that.” Mom nodded,

I suddenly felt fear wash over me and I was almost paralyzed. What if I’m a horrible mom? I mean I would never do what Dahlia did to me, but what if I don’t develop that mother-child bond? I’m scared to death but then Elliot leans to comfort me and says in low voice into my ear, “You’re going to be fine, love. You are nothing but kind and nurturing. You’ve worked wonders with Calista. You have nothing to fear, baby. You also have tons of help at your fingertips.” I smiled as he kissed my forehead, “You always know exactly what I need to hear. I love you so much.” With that, I felt my stomach get tight and I lifted my torso to bear down, pushing to help our first baby through the birth canal. Doctor Harper encouraged, “That was a really good one, Elisa. Need another push.” Another contraction hit and I started pushing again. I was pushing and felt a sudden reduction in pressure. Doctor Harper smiled, “Here is your prince!” Our little boy started wailing as his father cut the cord, “He’

I sat in the living room with my feet up with dad, Elliot, Evan, Linden and Max. I was trying to relax, but my back started hurting. The ache started moving around to my belly and I could feel my belly squeezing tightly. It wasn’t so painful that it was alarming, it just really caught my attention. I raised my shirt to expose my belly as another contraction hit. As my belly contracted, I tapped Elliot to get his attention. As we both looked down at my belly, Elliot gasped as the babies were clearly visible as my belly squeezed around them. He asked, “That looks like it hurts so bad, and you are just sitting there looking at it. You are tougher than I am.” I laughed, “My back hurts worse than my belly.” Doctor Harper walked in, “Don’t get used to it. It won’t stay this way.” I looked up at her, smiling, “It will all be worth it. I can’t wait to meet them.” Doctor Harper smiled, “You are going to be such a great mother.” I asked, “Do you think a numbing spell would be a good idea?” She
